Rejection is part of the game. Had a date two weekends ago where the chick (this 45 year old; I've banged better looking slump busters) rejected me with a "we should probably just be friends". They've done studies. The best type of pics for men are semi-smiling and looking away from the camera. Pics with animals, particularly dogs are very successful too. No selfies, no mirror shots, no cheesy smiles, no looking directly into the camera.

^ I know but I figured it would make more sense to see what is working currently for the guys actively posting in this thread using online game. I'm sure there are guys in this thread that didn't spend hundreds of dollars hiring a photographer like blurredsevens suggests who still have successful pictures. I've started teaching my oldest son photography and will have him practice on me when I'm feeling really good and dressed nice in a cool location, little does he know he's taking my online dating profile pics. I have to say that out of all the online dating sites/ apps, OKC has been the most barren for me by far. I have been on the site for years but I have only met 2 women. I put it down to being in the UK, but it seems that OKC is working out for you.

Ive been lazy and put off getting the pro shots, but using my phone or P&S with a micro tripod and the self timer has gotten me some ok pics. Or Ill take a video and pull a frame for an action shot. Im tall and fit with decent stats, and they've been working well enough so far but I really want to see if there will be a difference with even a couple pro shots mixed in. Also depends on your area too. Where Im at you're losing market share if you don't have a couple hiking related pics.

Yeah. I'm 37 and though people have told me I look younger, I think I'd have a hard time pulling off 29. Most of the chicks I meet are between 27 and 35; I think the youngest I ever banged in recent history was 26.

Fired up OKC recently after taking a long break which I have mentioned before a few times. I wanted to see what the landscape was like after a good hiatus and with a fresh perspective.

Disaster zone doesn't even begin to describe it.

3. Barely any talent above a 6.

4. Big drop in active users.

Browsed for a bit and messaged the very few decent looking chicks and only one replied. She asked if I was part of a particular political party (the fuck?) and then ghosted.

It goes through cycles. There was a big upswing in new users around here at the beginning of the summer - I got a lay from that. Checking it out again the past couple days, it's the same old faces once again.

Overall it's been fairly consistent for me, except last winter when it was extremely dead. Since then, it's been about one new lay a month, without having to put in a huge amount of effort. Pretty much just hitting up girls who "visit" my profile, or "like" me. August will be the first month since the winter it didn't happen, but I was taking a break and put in almost zero effort.

I live in what should be a pretty solid area for OKC and I would guess 80% of the women between 18-25 have odd colored hair, ridiculous over the top tattoos, or are ball busting feminists. What was great in the distant past is that the only girls who would bother creating an account are lonely ones who actually wanted to meet up. Now these sites are flooded with attention whores which makes the cost/benefit so much worse unless you can generate a lot of passive interest with your pics.

Yea its really not a good time right now. There is nothing in the horizon to replace Tinder while all the other apps are sucking hard and at the same time tinder keeps getting worse and worse.

I really didn't appreciate their new update where they block my fake GPS use. Not to sound like a depressive downer cause i am not but all this decline in online dating has not translated into an uptick in the real world.
