So that girls have no way to contact you or anyone of your family and friends in case they go batshit crazy or get pregnant. The last thing you want is a jealous Pinay sending messages to all your Facebook friends

This actually happened to me which is why I always use a fake name now. True story follows:

While I was living in Chile I met a girl and went on two dates with her. We went to the beach each time then went back to my place and fucked. She seemed like a perfectly normal, sane girl. The second time after we fucked she said "I wanna see you again, can I see you on the weekend?" Well I had plans to see another girl on the weekend so I said no I couldn't do that, how about next Monday.

She turns up to my house on the weekend uninvited and sees me with this other chick. She freaks out and throws rocks at my house before driving away Then she searched on Facebook for my name and found my profile. She then proceeded to send a message to every girl who had ever posted on my page. The message was several thousand words long and contained choice extracts such as these:

Quote:Hello, my name XX but they call me Joh. I met Rafael in XX 3 weeks ago. And I realized on the weekend that the fucker is a fucking faggot because before he was going out with a well-known girl in XX that is now in Santiago and he has done the same with many girls. Look I do this only because no one plays me for a fool so I will unmask all the girls he is with.

Quote:I do not want to know or you or anyone if you are stupid enough to contact me my brother is a lawyer so do not look for me to find me, I swear to god I will invent a story about how this guy raped me that will put this fucking dickhead in prison.
He is a fucking fagot who plays with everyone, my ex was a crazy dick as well and and he did this to me and I never realized.

She claimed I was a criminal from Brazil and I had stolen money from her, plus a bunch of other nonsense (how do chicks even come up with this stuff??). What's worse she not only sent this to the girls, she also sent it to their coworkers and parents. In some messages she even included photos she had taken of me sleeping and from inside my house. It was full on sociopath/stalker behaviour.

In the end I handled it OK and all my girls were on my side, but trust me this is not something you want to deal with, ever.

So this is why we hide our real identity from women we bang. Because you never know when you're going to hit a landmine, and there is no limit to how far a scorned woman will go to try to fuck up your life even if it has absolutely no benefit to her.

By the way, if you ever find yourself in a situation with a stalker like this, the best policy is to ignore her completely. Any response at all will only encourage her. You just gotta put your head down and weather out the storm, in my case she got bored and stopped sending these messages after about 10 days.

RE: The Philippines thread
Kind of hoping this doesn't happen to me but in my pipe lining, I have one of the most common first names in the world as my real name so I'm not too worried about a girl finding me if I don't give her my last name or facebook (which I don't intend to do either). Rafael that would be kind of scary to deal with in real life and definitely not something I'd want my family dealing with, considering they've been through it with another member of my family and they already don't understand why I'm doing a solo trip to Asia.

I've got a john smith type name that is very un searchable (yields thousands of results on FB) so that's not such an issue, but as far as pipelining before you're there how do you go about keeping your number secret?
I've been going for the whatsapp/viber within a few messages online and then chatting that way.
Is there a way to do this before you have another sim from there?

Even if you use a fake name, lock down your real facebook and hide the friends. If you don't and she found your real name you're just as fucked.

Similar thing happened to me so I have multiple Facebook accounts, but one girl that stalks me somehow found my "real" one despite having no mutual friends or networks. I wouldn't rely on having a common name because FB's "Suggested Friends" algorithm is efficient and bordering on creepy. I know I get suggestions on my end that I never thought FB would know.

If you are in the US you can get a Google Voice number for free and activate that on Viber. Or you get a prepaid sim for less than $10 and get a fresh number and activate that on Viber and Whatsapp. Your Whatsapp and Viber numbers don't need to be your cell phone's actual number.

^ Use your new number to create a FB as well. Don't use email only for the new FB because they may lock you out and ask you to prove your identity, which obviously you can't. They normally don't lock you out if you put in a phone number. In your FB account hide your friends from everybody, so girls won't see you got a bunch of other girls there.

Do any of you guys prefer a city other than Manila for the Philippines? I'm interested in maybe exploring a lesser known city for my first visit (which I am close to booking). I'll likely go with old faithful in Manila, but I'm interested in researching some other places.

Go to Cebu. Less crowded then Manila but still has that city view. There is a good data sheet on Cebu on this site.

I also liked Dumaguette but it's more provincial. Only suitable for Daygame in my opinion. (If you are younger)

Guys, what is the preferred site for online dating these days? FC is behind a paywall and I see a lot of fake messages... Is it worth it or is there an other site to consider?

FC is fine in terms of "fake" or "scams", most interactions I had there were legit actually. If you're into online game, I'd say go for it.

To try to generalize a comparison to Tinder, girls are more backwards on FC (I'm saying that in a good way). They take the whole thing much more seriously. This actually makes sense since nobody goes on a dating site 'just for show' as they do on Tinder.

Also flakes there are of a different kind ("I too shy to show up", "my mom won't let me leave the house this evening") - these are not excuses, they were for real in my experience, once I rescheduled or plowed through their 'shyness', they showed up. So as I said if you have patience, you can find some gems.

There's plenty of skanks there too if you're into that (I don't mean p4p, just cheap-like girls). There are however prostitutes and scammers there as well, so use common sense.

Overall you can give it a try, but don't mistake all the 'interests' you receive and all the messages to be sure lays.

Many of them will fall off for one reason or another. Overall the signal to noise ratio there isn't the best, but again, if you're into online game, you can give it a go.

Hope this helps Smile

I'm headed to PH for a short vacation soon.

A friend of mine told me on more than one occasion he's experienced finding pieces of glass in his food and coffee, at mainstream western establishments like McD's and such. Has anyone experienced similar things? That, and with the creepy Australian guy that got caught abusing kids recently, it's making me reconsider even going there.

I never found glass in my food, in fact I never had a bad experience with food there, I mostly ate at Filipino restaurants, Army Navy and Zubuchon being places that I ate at daily and highly recommend.

RE: The Philippines thread
Was trying to avoid being "this guy" but I could use some advice from some SEA veterans. I've already decided on one month in Manila but am most likely going to have at least three free weeks after that. I'm debating between two itineraries for those weeks:

Puerto Princesa/Cebu vs. Bali/Mount Bromo/Jakarta

I figured the main benefit of staying in the Philippines would be getting a chance to explore deeper in the country as well as explore more of the natural sights. The negative being that the onward ticket requirement seems annoying considering I'd probably have to dump money on a flight I won't use as well as a $60 extension fee and maybe missing a chance to explore a country/city before it gets too big for its own good.

The main benefit of Indonesia for me is variety of women, my age being more of an asset here (especially in Bali), and crossing another country off my list I can confidently say I'd probably feel satisfied after three weeks exploring. The main negative seems to be there's less things to do and some discussion on an alcohol ban (I'd be shocked if that happened though) as well as missing out on one of the top wonders of the world (Palawan underground river).

Any advice here would be appreciated.

Definitely go to Indonesia too! If you want to see more of the Philippines, go during your month in Manila or do 2 weeks in Manila then 2 weeks exploring.

Go to Indonesia. The stories I heard about the underground river don't sound like a top wonder of the world to me.

Besides, there are plenty of things to do in Indonesia as well and the girls in Indonesia are much better imo. Spend a weekend in Jakarta, spend a night in Yogya and visit Borobudur, spend one or two nights in Surabaya to enjoy the ultimate white god factor and then take a train to Probolinggo where you can book a tour to Mount Bromo and Kawah Ijen with transportation to Bali included. Kawah Ijen alone is worth the flight to Indonesia. On Bali you have plenty of things to do as well.

Video RE: The Philippines thread
Just got back 21 days in the Philis. Lots already covered about the girls so I won't go into to much here , but if you just go to bang then you are missing out on a truly epic country.

Safety
Now all the drug dealers are dead , street crime has dropped considerably.
Manila
Got an AirbnB near greenbelt mall which was very nice but traffic was insane, which put girls off. Would probably stay near the fort bon area night time. There really is bugger all to do in manila so get a nice pool , a massage and get over your jet lag.
Coron .
This island is a quick flight and transfer , El nindo is 5 hours on a bus once you land and many said Coron was nicer.
Dived 5 WW2 ship wrecks and did a big island hopping tour. Amazing , 3-4 days max is all you need here. Used Corton divers , top outfit with 2 boats. some of the best wrecks in the world here.
Cagayan de Oro short flight from manila or cebu
Went white water rafting with bugsay rafting . super fun , great guys , you'll need a raft of four but we joined another group of two
[Image: Bugsay4.jpg]
Dahilayan Adventure Park - this place we did in the afternoon , shared a cab for about 2000php , insane zip lines , a lot of fun. CDO is worth a trip for these two things without a doubt .
Cebu City.
Stayed near the mall. Not much to do but they have a shooting range , rock climbing etc.
Oslob - cebu island - Whale sharks swim is awsome . these things a HUGE .

Tumgalog Falls . Its near by , good place to chill out .
Canyoneering
[Image: a-980x980.png]
Real highlight of the trip for me , the rock formations , jumping into water falls , just epic .

Moalboal sardine dive - this is like a wonder of the world. thousands of the suckers , make some great shapes . good for a dive or a snorkel. i did a 50 min scub , my mate 2hrs snorkal , he loved it !
[Image: scuba-diving-the-sardines-of-molaboal-1280x640.jpg]

For the cebu bit , we hired a car and driver for two days , cost 6500 - 7500 php , well worth it and less hassle than messing about with bus , especially with a full dive bag.

Hope this is some solid data for people looking to go, you'll have a blast !

I second that....definitely spend more time in Indonesia and less in the Philippines.

There is plenty of cool adventures (volcanoes, jungles, over 17,000 islands) to be had in Indonesia that would keep you occupied for weeks. And instead of Bali, why not try Lombok and enjoy kite surfing, diving, snorkeling, and cycling to appreciate the breathtaking cliff scenery.

The only place alcohol is banned is in Aceh province.

I'm heading to Manila for a couple of weeks again and am interested in trying to get more into the local social scene. Does anyone have advice on the best way to get to know people in Manila?

Clubs /daygame/tinder have netted a decent stream of good looking girls in the past, but i have a feeling getting into a high value social circle will up the quality.

Meeting groups of friends at clubs is the closest i have come, but generally tends to end up with one girl latching on and a bunch of male betas being obviously threatened, but friendly enough.

I'm interested in trying any ideas out, and will be sure to post about results.

What value can you bring to the table that would encourage members of a high value Filipino social circle to let you in?

Well spoken, executive career, accustomed to leading, well traveled, sharp dresser (currently in HK getting pants and shirts made at WW Chans). In 3 day a week gym shape ...but not posessing male model washboard abs.

In general I have the disposable income to project anything within reason... So pulling high end sloots is not an issue. Really looking for the twist at the end of the punch more than anything. I'm guessing social circles might be the key.

I am interested to know what you think is worth projecting in Filipino society, and where the best places to do said projecting are (are you thinking clubs?).
As i say, ive made friends in clubs but the dudes tend to present as threatened betas and a girl tends to lock me off from the group early... Where i really want to get into a group that opens more avenues to high end women.
I have a feeling i may be doing some white male / western thing that is inadvertently causing this.

Having said all this... I have been to Manila a few times in the past and know the culture fairly well. Just missing something I guess. Perhaps a glaring weakness in my game, which i would be happy to have pointed out so i can crush it Smile
