If you have been dating a girl awhile (6 months or longer), what about setting a girl up in an apartment or boarding house.

a. She's in a boarding house, and you decide get an apartment for her because you can afford it and to reward her loyalty and being an awesome girlfriend

This one I think can some drawbacks besides the rent being higher.... When the girl comes over to see you from a boarding house or her mom's house, getting to your place with a.c. and a pool is pretty awesome for her just in itself.

Once she has her own place, coming to see you isn't such a big deal anymore since her apartment is just as nice as yours. But, having her at her own place allows you to pull girls to your other place a lot more easily. Actually, if you get her a cool apartment, you can hang out at her place and designate your apartment as an office.

b. She's living with a relative in a far city or at home. You throw her up in a boarding house so she has better access to see you regularly.

Has anyone tried it? Results?

Yes I got my girlfriend in Manila an apartment before for a couple of months when I was out of the country just out of generosity because she was having a miserable time staying at a family member's but from a selfish standpoint in your scenario a, it doesn't really have any benefits.

It was nice though that when I went to visit, I had somewhere to stay without having having to pay for a hotel or airbnb (which for my short stay would have cost almost as much as her apartment for a couple of months anyway... the apartment was only 6k/month).

It would be nice for the girl but I can't see how moving her from a boarding house to her own apartment would benefit you at all.

I can't see how it would make pulling other girls to your place more easy either. If anything, you'd become less tactful and be more blase about leaving clues around and then one day when you do end up back there with her, she'll find them. Also, if she's all alone in her apartment as opposed to with family members or other people in a boarding house who she doesn't want to disturb or wake up, she's much more likely to just turn up unannounced at your apartment when you're there with another girl.

Also, any girl, let alone a girl in Manila who probably grew up in a crowded family home always sharing a bedroom with siblings then when she went to the city, always stayed in bunk beds in a packed boarding house surrounded by others would find it incredibly lonely and isolated living alone for the fist time and therefore crave your attention much more, making it more difficult for you to be with other girls.

As for your option b, that sounds great.

If your motives are so you can bring other girls to your apartment without her knowing, your best option would be to get a second apartment for yourself. I was considering that before and there are plenty of decent condos in the less nice parts of Makati (but near to the nice parts) for under 15k that I was looking at.

I'm older and a little more serious on how much time to waste (and money) on chicks I also don't feed the animals when at the zoo (Manila a zoo...uhm...er..yeah a smog filled one) yes it gives me control over the animal it also creates dependency (messy). When I was in Manila last October there were girls everywhere.I specifically target chicks that dress well and have a job. I banged the hostess that owned my AirBnb condo (never got a discount now that's a business girl!). My advice is find a Filipino girl that something going on career wise/brains Secondly playing house is nice but it'll cost you 1 year start to finish if your not serious....which is a waste for old toots when there is better game in Manila.
