Get some hobbies. For me, it's shooting guns.

I'd like to get a high end motorbike and join some clubs, but it's awfully impractical.

(But people don't buy status symbols to be practical)

off to the PI in a week and a half, armed with 10k AUD .... going to be staying in Davao first at northpoint, then maybe Jun'n'dell... read this thread back to front over time, anyone got a reliable budget on what to spend daily ? I'm not sure how long I'm going for ..... I guess until my money runs out, I tried youtube and people say 1000 a day... which seems pretty low, figured I'd ask here for anyone who has done it recently

is 2000 a day ok? what about 3000 pesos a day going to be ok ? too much? I really have nfi and not a single website or fake lying bullshitting youtube expat is any good either

That depends what you want to eat, drink, and entertainment. At least in manila it can vary a lot.

Dinner for one without alcohol is 500-1000 pesos in major malls in Manila depending on a restaurant. If you go to high end places it will be more.

I can live here comfortably on 1500 (300 breakfast, 500 lunch and 700 dinner at a major mall). If you are meeting cheeks then 2000 a day is OK, and 3000 would include a dinner date.

The numbers should be lower in Davao. Maybe even 1000 a day for a youtube expat who is not doing dates.

This is my recent experience and it does not include accommodation and drinks. Only meals, coffeeshops and taxies.

How would you say Cebu compares? Has anyone been on the ground and can do a cost comparison on this, versus Davao and Manila?

Numbeo says it's much closer to Manila than Davao, but that just seems so odd to me, since it's a much smaller city.

Also, from living in Davao and Manila, Manila girls are more beautiful on average, they're healthier and have more curves as they have access to better nutrition. English proficiency is also much higher. Where would Cebu stand in regards to beauty and English? Somewhere in between?

RE: The Philippines thread
Some people describe Cebu as basically mini Manila, I can see where they're coming from, but it seemed more laid back.

Internet was never a problem in Cebu for me, it was always fast enough.

Food cost is basically a wash in my opinion. If your eating at the chains it will be the same, grocery store prices will basically be the same in different cities, attempting to eat cheap will be a similar experience, etc.

All my dates were cheap, like 200-300php for 2 drinks at a coffee shop or 300-400php for 2 meals at a place like Dimsum Break, unless we were spending time together and I wanted to go do something like try a bunch of food at a night market or cool restaurant, even that was usaully around 500-700php at the most for 2 people combined. I'd say just taking myself into consideration, as someone trying not to wither away or make sacrifices, I'd want on average 1000php a day.

The only thing I remember being significantly different in price relates to transport; I couldn't seem to get Uber in Manila (I stayed in Makati), only Grab, whereas in Cebu I could get both and in Cebu Uber was significantly cheaper then Grab in Manila. There are dudes on motorbikes EVERYWHERE in Cebu willing to give you a cheap ride. I never used a jeepney.

Laundry cost depends more on the neighborhood and the person behind the counter then the city your in.

I never had an issue with English in Cebu, never even noticed a difference from Manila, people seemed to speak English good enough.

I enjoyed the girls in Cebu, I don't think the girls are better looking or superior in any way in either city, but Manila is still king because of the massive population, there's just an endless supply of 18-early 20s girls online and everywhere during the day. Tinder in Cebu started out great, but went quiet REALLY QUICK, there's just less active girls using the app. That probably applies to all other online avenues.

The big benefit of Cebu in my opinion is that its a great jumping off point to see more of the Phils. Davao is way in the South and from what I know surrounded by military checkpoints, Manila is in the north and surrounded by endless urban sprawl, Cebu is in the middle, easier to get out of, Mactan is nearby as well as other beach destinations, the port has ferries going all over the place.

RE: The Philippines thread
Thanks for the great data Aeroektar!

I like all the points you mentioned, and agree with them.

I'll add that one drawback to Manila is that logistics can work against you. You could meet a girl that works 9 or 10 hour days, plus a one hour commute each way, 6 days a week. I think the retail girls work a schedule similar to that, which is pretty rough, so they don't have much time left for dating.

The huge benefit, like you mentioned, is the talent pool is infinite.

I'll be weighing all the pros and cons, wifi speed, logistics issues for girls, cost of living, and foreigner value. I may even decide on another country, if it has friendly visa rules, but that's unlikely.

I have lots of time to gather data, though, I'm not leaving until 7 to 9 months from now.

I think it would be nice to settle on a spot with a low cost of living that allows me to live there long term, with flights back to the U.S. every so often. I could get a nice girl, have a long term relationship with her, and not even worry about bringing her to the U.S. until years later.

It's an option. We'll see.

Having done some sightseeing this week, I have to chime in and mention that most notable destination are at least a few (3-6) hours away by car or ferry (some require both), and it takes even more by bus. So planning to hop to another place and get back to Cebu City at the end of the day will prove very frustrating.

Bohol is closer (2 hours by ferry) but it would actually be smarter to stay there overnight so you can catch more off the beaten track sights there. If you want to do the classic route only then it can be done in a day. Mactan is close, but hardly has the best beaches around.

Tinder and some of the dating websites are packed full of ladyboys in Manila. Seems almost as bad as Thailand.

Generally the "professional " workers get two days off a week , others one day , if they are lucky.
Girls with "smart" phones tend to be better off , so Tinder works well in that department. I always used to ask for their Viber , if they didnt have it , i didnt bother chatting any further.
They also speak better English . I just put on my tinder profile NO TG NO TS , so filter out the lady boys etc.

I was in Davao in 2016, there was a lot of power outage. (Like 1 or 2 hour every 3 days)

So if you are working on an internet business, Cebu looks better for a long stay.

I don't remember big differences about the women’s beauty between Davao and Cebu.
The young women are more prude in Davao than in Cebu. But you can obviously find fuckbudies in a big city like Davao.
Many female foreign student in Cebu if you are trying to collect some flags.

I'm on a popular online dating site now looking for talent. I'm getting hit up constantly by girls in the 18-24 age range. Some are asking me to visit them "as soon as possible". I also only deal with women 28 and under.

One thing is for sure, the Philippines will never run out of young women.

Great info from aeroektar. Taking a Filipina out to eat should not run you more than 250 pesos. Jollibees always works well for me.

Has anyone experimented with stopping moving girls in Manila, at a significant sample size, during the day?

Any feedback on that?

Thanks!

The way some Filipinas talk about Jolibee's is the way many guys talk about a high end steak house or seafood restaurant.

Some of them grew up eat rice plus whatever other food their family could through together. A trip to Jolibee's was like an escape from that and I guess it became really endearing to them.

RE: The Philippines thread
Hi everyone!
This is my first post, I've been reading all over this thread and all the info is here, amazing forum.

I'm in cebu now since 4 weeks ago and I'll stay until 20th March.

I'm 38, yellow fever, and I'm dating girls 18-25 yo. easily in Philippines, this is really hard to do back in Europe. I say to myself everyday "Filipinas, qué gran país" (Philippines, such a great country!)

In my experience Tinder and Skout in Cebu City is a waste of time, mostly prostitutes and ladyboys.

DiA works quite good, I get better girls in DiA, but you must be careful, some of them are time-wasters or scammers. The good girls have job (don't ask for transportation money) and speak good English.

I took a very good one in day game, I want to improve my day game, as girls here are so kind, that even rejected you feel good.

So if anyone in Cebu city wants to meet up for a beer PM me, sometimes I need buckup for a girlfriend of a girl, and I can't provide them a second sausage as I'm rolling solo. Lol.

RE: The Philippines thread
Hi rvfers Smile new to the forum too, i've been in Makati for around 4 weeks... so i'm going to contribute a mini datasheet about here... most of it was already said by previous fellows but i want to give some nuances about my experience....

Background : mid-twenties, 6 feet caucasian. I'm in the philippines setting up a location independent business while at the same time fucking as much as i can...

Girls : To begin with, i find the filipinas very exciting, i've been very horny since i arrived there... (well i'm also horny back home actually). always many cute girls around while walking... I get quite a few girls looking at me, many shop/restaurant girls giggle when it's my turn, when i visited QC teenage girls saying "handsome" when i walk around. Hmm can't wait to go try life in QC... I love the thick pale filipinas that wear work skirts, the well-tended milfs, the younger shy girls, so much variety there... I never get bored.

Daygame : I don't live near greenbelt (too expensive) and have to work during the day, so I only approach sometimes in my residence or when i go shopping. After work not the time for that cause i have to take care of the online sluts that wanna fuck. Did about 20 approaches, got rejected maybe only 5 times. Got 1 lay from a 30 year old. Many other replied to my texts but didnt get to meet them. When i go to QC next week i'll switch to more daygame cause i'll near just nearby a huge mall. Quality is higher than online of course and allows you to avoid meeting freaks.

Filipino cupid : Warning. Don't put your age below 30 years old. If you lie, be careful to use a vpn located at the home country you precised in your account or they'll ban you / ask for ID. I put 30 yo at the beginning, they blocked me, they verified my ID and changed my age to my true age. I feel the results plummeted because of this. Many girls there will not take you seriously, ask questions about your business here if you put your age below 30. Moreover you won't be able to fuck the 30-35 yo makati milfs if you do so. And the 18-21 yo girls will also lose interest (i think most of them here are gold diggers).

Advantages :
- easier to meet girls < 21 yo here than tinder.
- can quickly filter for the ones you like, and send mass messages effectively.
- no ladyboys
- good for guys in the older range...
- less timewasters / flaky girls

Disadvantages :
- many poor girls. Need to filter for the ones that have viber unless you don't mind receiving random stupid texts from the younger poor girls
- many girls are far away and it's annoying to check every time their city
- statistically i find quality is lower than tinder

Tinder : for the moment i've not run out of matches. Every day new matches. Good quality but a lot more timewasters, ladyboys, and SIFs. The most annoying are the timewasters.

A good way to filter timewasters is to open by "hey do you want to meet", then ask the ones that say yes to come over have a drink or chill. Alas you will lose a lot of 6+ by doing so. Most girls you're gonna bang with this technique are 4-5s. Never failed to bang them. Always they come straight to the lobby, and we fuck at once. They were more in their late 20s / early 30s.

Other opener: just "hey...". You can get a ton of numbers, but you'll then meet a few timewasters 6s if you don't filter them properly before. There is no miracle. I've gotten quite lazy here and if i don't kiss them after 30min-1h of meeting i'll tell them to leave.

Bangs : I think i got about 20-25 lays in 30 days. A good part came straight to the lobby, an other good part i pulled from the small mall next to my place straightly to "have a drink". I work on my business everyday so i can only meet them at noon or after work... anyway most of them work during the week so i'm not sure that's an issue.

I need to precise that many of the lays were 5s/6s or women around 30 yo. If you only want to bang the young hot ones, well you'll need to put more effort and endure the flakes. Or go to cebu maybe.

Some of my favorite lays so far :
- 35 yo milf with a great body, very wide hips and tight pussy. Looked 30 yo max. came straightly knocking at the door of my condo. i fucked her like 4 times and she slept there
- 20 yo shy slim pale pinay. Great emotional connection, i enjoyed talking to her ang hugging her until we slept. Met her at greenbelt, then 2h LMR and we had sex.
- 25 yo model half chinese. not really my type (kinda geeky) but i write her down here the quality of her body (i guess the best so far). she's at my residence, we matched on tinder, just as i finished banging a girl, she texted me to meet there... no lmr, fucked her very hard and quickly.

I had to put a lot of effort to get dates and close girls that are 20-22 in the 6 to 7 range (Makati) online in December and January a couple of months ago. I didn't meet any girls online that were higher than a 7. When I say effort, I mean that I was chatting on face book some, making phone calls, going on 2nd dates and one girl was a 3rd date to close. However, I was going for girls that I would want to see more than once. I was gaming online for a few weeks part time, and had 4 closes, 7 pulls (to my apartment), and only one girl did I not pull to my apartment on the 1st date. But I did get a kiss from her. I met up with all the girls during the day at Starbucks or the mall, and pulled to a restaurant near my apartment. It was a nice one. I was spending about 1500 pesos but I didn't mind because I liked the food and ambiance. After a few weeks, I had a solid rotation of 6s, but I was having trouble getting a girl hotter than a 6.5 in looks.

I also was screening quite a bit by checking out face book accounts as much as possible or getting them to send me selfies. If I was just straight up asking girls do they want to meet on my opener, I don't think I would have had anything higher than a five. Perhaps my profile photos need to be improved, but I didn’t find it that easy.

I'm around 40 y.o. That's quite a bit better than in the U.S., where I wouldn't even get any replies or dates at all with girls in that age range online. I sent out around 200 to 400 emails on match to girls 21 to 27 and didn’t find even one girl who wanted to meet that was up to my standards.

I agree about day game being better (I think it’s way superior if you are going for quality, although maybe not if your online game is awesome or you are very nice looking). However, I haven’t done enough approaches to prove it yet. I’m working on it though. Anyone who might want to day game together definitely message me; I will be in Manila for a few months.

Cheers!

@Freebird Flying -

I would say that my online experience is exactly the same in Manila besides the fact that my lays are mostly 7s and 8s now and my closing rate is higher. I'm a bit younger though. But the amount of effort I have to put in to get that quality is very similar to what you described.
