Yeah that is a crazy story Shimmy. I would of gotten out of there too. Just a little bit too weird.
Its another reason I use a fake name on facebook and other accounts. I have heard of the same sort of thing happening with video chats, where they record the call. With a fake name and account, where are they going to publish it? Who are they going to embarrass and try to blackmail? It hasn't happened to me but its good to be aware of what they might try to do.
(02-06-2017 09:02 AM)Shimmy Wrote: Had a very weird night over the weekend.
I met up with a girl at her place at 1AM. We started fooling around and she said she had to ask her boyfriend for permission. She pulls her phone out and I see her texting some white guy. She says she will only fuck me if I let her boyfriend watch on video chat. She also tried to take a pic of me with her phone but I grabbed it and stopped her. I figured it was just some cuck and I said no thanks and got dressed and walked out.
I told my Filipino friend who grew up there the story and he said something similar happened to him where they recorded all of his chat logs and had a video of him and tried to blackmail that they were going to publish everything if he didn't give her money.
Stay safe.
Yeah I use a fake name with a fake Facebook account. (I tell girls I have a Facebook I only use for apps, which is true. I never add them on the fake account to avoid complications).
It's a solid routine. Even if you eventually meet a girl you want something long-term with, Pinays are generally very forgiving, especially if you explain your reasoning to them. Even though most girls are very sweet and good-natured, it is the 3rd world, and if you're banging a lot of random girls on the internet, obviously there is a good chance you eventually run into some scum.

A lot of pinays have fake Facebook accounts as well. Some just use their real name but spelled backwards, e.g. Jen becomes Nej. Usually they have one account for family and friends and another account for guys they are fucking.
lololol.
Again, please remember to separate the Tinder/DIA/Blossoms sluts from the main population when making sweeping stereotypes about an entire countries gender.....
In the process of setting up my first ever trip to the Philippines and SEA next month! I have most of the stuff figured out but I'd like to see if people settled down there can answer some minor questions.
Is it mandatory to be clean-shaven for game? My beard is a big part of my look and I'm a younger guy that's going to try and sell an older age there. I doubt it'd be suicide for game but I'm just wondering if it makes a big difference.
I haven't heard any updates on the common app used there in a while but is it still Viber or is it something else now?
Has anyone ever stayed in the Mandaluyong neighborhood? I have a connection there for an apartment and no one really talks about it here. Looks like a decent neighborhood so I'm really just looking for confirmation on my thoughts for this.

Hey yankeetravels,
Mandaluyong is cool, it's just next door to Makati and not far from BGC. Ortigas is part of Mandaluyong and a major major hub. You won't make a mistake placing yourself there. MRT stations are all close. You have boni, Shaw, Ortigas and Robinson's .
Good luck mate

yankeetravels,
If you want girls to come to your place on their own, placing yourself in Makati and close to Greenbelt is your best bet. Girls are accustomed to go to that area and it's considered safe as well (Greenbelt that is).
A non-shaven look doesn't earn points here as it does in Europe, but it's not a negative, you can keep your beard.
The most common messaging apps are Viber and FB. Do not give girls your back-home number or your real fb handle, use a prepaid Pinoy sim for Viber and open a FB account with that sim as well.

Yankeetravels:
Just wondering why you would want to come across older ?
I am in my 30s and would love to look ten years younger.
There is so many young women out there that would be delighted to meet someone their age and not an old fart or someone in between like me.
You will do great man

The answer is simply that I'm pretty young by Filipina standards. I have heard that it's a lot easier for guys in their late 20s and 30s to get laid here. I'm only going to be 23 when I get to Manila. Girls from what I've been told like to date older men especially here and I've been told with my beard I can pass for older if I have to. Maybe I'm just being paranoid or really want to ultra-maximize my results.
Advance 路 2017-02-07 15:47:00 路 #4285
Yes I think you might be overthinking that...
They will be super happy to meet someone their age. And of course they see someone older as financially stable and a little more settled.
Most of the girls on the websites have been playing around quite a lot with guys just disappearing on them. That's why some of them prefer someone more mature who appears past that stage.

Dude. You're 23. Prime age for fucking, and you'll match with 18-22 year olds. I actually lowered my age on Tinder and got just as many matches if not more.

You can always arrive with the beard and shave it while you're there. Chances are you'll shave it due to the heat..
asdfk 路 2017-02-08 04:17:00 路 #4288
The girls liked me a lot better when I shaved my beard. Boyish looks seemed to be "in". But then again, I am tall and relatively strong-looking Zs it might be different if you are build like a twig.

I'm not planning on buying a SIM card until I get there since I've heard it's much cheaper to buy it on arrival so I don't think that's gonna work. I'm hoping I can still use my regular number on Viber to contact girls once I get there and get a SIM. Not really sure how that works to be honest because I've never really had to use a SIM card.
But nevertheless, pipelining is part of my plan on FC and DIA (mainly because this one's free) and to use Tinder when I get there. As for facebook, I'm going to try to not even put that in play and just say I don't really use it anymore.

As others suggested, you want to keep your identity private for as long as you can. That means your real phone number, facebook, and name. Your real phone number is one of the primary means of identification for bank accounts, credit cards, etc. so it's preferable to setup a new Viber account with your new Phil number.
You can buy a Globe SIM card at the airport, but it will only be 3G, and is fine if you are going to use WiFi most of the time, which is what I do. It will only cost a few dollars. Otherwise go to a Globe store in the mall and ask for a 4G LTE card. They will swap out your US one for the Globe. Make sure you save the US one.
If your flight is coming in late and you want to get setup as soon as possible, get the 3g at the airport and then a 4G the next day at the mall. Once you setup Viber with a Phil number it won't matter what Sim card you are using going forward. You will always be able to log into that Viber account and use it.
You dont really need to get a sim card at the airport on arrival. At the airports they have Grab booths right outside, you dont even need wifi, just go up and ask them to book you a ride to your condo. Go to the globe store and get an LTE sim, make sure your phone is unlocked, and make sure it is a GSM phone, if the phone isnt unlocked there is a place in Greenbelt 1 that will unlock your phone in 5 minutes for 500 php.

Mandaluyong is fine. Nothing particularly wrong with it and nothing particularly right about it either. If you have free or discounted accommodation there though, go ahead! Is it in Ortigas or another part of Mandaluyong?
Whatsapp is much more popular now. Between that and Viber you'll be fine.
There's no need to try and say that you're older than 23. Just because it's more attractive to be old in the Philippines than it is to be old in other countries doesn't mean that it's more attractive to be old in the Philippines than it is to be young in the Philippines!
The only "negative" of being young is that you're more likely to get classified as a player but I'm guessing you're going there to be a player, not find a wife, so that's not really a bad thing. If it is even at all negative, It's not enough to discourage a girl from sleeping with you and there is no need to lead them on too much.
The beard isn't really going to be a turn off but it won't be a turn on the way it is in the west. Filipina girls don't desire a bearded man like an English or American girl does. Maybe that's only because most Filipino men can't even grow a proper beard though so perhaps having a good one could be exotic and fascinating? I don't know haha.
When I got there I was worried that the stories about easy filipinas might only be true for those who look like a potential provider.
thats not the case though, they are really into that western look. on tinder there are quite a lot of girls who just want to get laid, but of course you have to swipe some to find gold. they are quite well off too for philippine standards in my experience.

@Anson: I agree, when I was in Manila I made good use of tinder. For sure there are a lot mediocre girls about but then again you do find a few stunners. The thing is though everyone else will probably too, so it's not you are her second man or something but for notch count tinder in MNL works very well.

Does someone know a good maid service in Makati? I need one to buy groceries, cook, clean... If she's hot it's better

The hotter she is, the more likely she is to rob you.
You'd get the best results from asking people you know who's family members need a one off job.

How would an indian perform in Phillipines?
Will he get the same attention (smv) as the white guy gets??
(02-19-2017 12:44 AM)Badass Wrote: How would an indian perform in Phillipines?

It just depends on a bunch of variables, man, if you're like some of the Indian guys I see here in Austin that travel in groups of ten, sporting paunches, rocking pedo-staches, baggy, bright-colored t-shirts, shorts that are too big, and wearing knee-high socks, these things may work against you. If anyone is in drastic need of an honest gay friend to get them squared away, it's those fellows.
On the other hand, if you're tall, confident, walk around like you own the place, and have ladykiller looks along the lines of the guy from "Heroes," Sendhil Ramamurthy, you may get a very different reception.

Could someone remind me: why is it standard practice to give out a fake name when on a bang mission?
(02-19-2017 07:38 AM)asdfk Wrote: Could someone remind me: why is it standard practice to give out a fake name when on a bang mission?
So that girls have no way to contact you or anyone of your family and friends in case they go batshit crazy or get pregnant. The last thing you want is a jealous Pinay sending messages to all your Facebook friends
