If someone serious really wanted to fuck with you they could legally bind you in the country indefinitely with this even if it's frivolous.

In the future I will try to keep stays under 6 months. There's too many things that can go wrong to trust you will clear a criminal record check when you leave. It worries me even more it took them a few hours to do the check when the renewals only took about an hour--they are really checking some databases and it may be VERY easy to get you into one of those databases.

I had had a few very minor accidents where I bumped into a jeepney with my motorcycle and just kept going through the impenetrable traffic while the guy yelled at me. There was no real way he could pursude me as I snaked between lanes, but he could have written my license plate down.

I was worried if someone had written down my license number and called it in I could be fucked. Not like I would be in jail for years but stressed out as hell as they told me I had a charge of leaving scene of accident and had to pay who knows how much.....

I had the check done a full week before my flight so if something popped up I had time to maybe straighten it out before I flew.

Thinking about renting a scooter for a month here in Davao... But its like 15,000php (a little over $300) seems kind of pricey for a scooter...

Haha...What are you going to do with a scooter? Go out to Toril? Actually that's not a bad idea.

Well I found this back road beside my condo that goes straight to my gym. Its kind of a long road but would be a fun scooter ride... Plus I like scooters/motorcycles. Seems like it would be fun to to drive around and get lost.. see what I can find, stop and ask cute girls for directions. Things like that. The main roads are pretty crazy here I think I would avoid them for the most part.

That's a great idea. You cover more ground faster while also presenting yourself as a local. I never saw a foriegner on a scooter. There have been many times I wanted to stop a taxi after driving by a cute girl. On a scooter it woild be easy to do

RE: The Philippines thread
[planning first trip in Philippines]

Argh.. 30 days is free stay without visa, but i will stay 31 days
(arrival 16.12, 'first day' then is the 17.12, i leave at 06:40 in the morning of 16.1, which is the 31th day)
But no choice it seems, they check it before i fly and then i would be in trouble.

Instead of getting the 59 day extension-visa there in Manila in immegretion-bureau for 3030 pesos (and half a day time?) i now try to get a 59 day visa in my country before i fly (costs half the money and good thing is i don't spend holiday time for something like that)

I can't just get a 59 day visa instead of the 30 day visa at the airport do i? (for money)

Thanks for help

As for the scooter, YES FUCKING GET ONE. if you haven't been talking to locals yet, then you might be stuck with $300/month, mine was $8/day for 3 weeks so I'm sure you can find a better deal.

I don't know how you guys survive out there without one.

I'll put together a short trip report and share some advice based on my trip when I get back. So far the trip has been good. Getting laid is easy here, but I would say the quality of talent is lacking compared to Manila, for example.

Haven't checked out the high end clubs yet, will probably hit LIV tonight.

Manila might be an urban jungle but the quality here is MUCH better then anywhere else in the country. Then again, I don't like the dark types, so its a matter of preference.

But yes I am curious where you're getting most of your bangs from.. for me it was 70% from FC :/ Am curious how the high-end clubbing experience goes

It's not just the skin color which I don't mind, it's the height. A 5' tall girl can't have a nice body no matter how much she weighs and how good her t&a look, in my opinion. And many of them are shorter than that. I'm not a tall guy and never look for girls who are taller than me, but most girls here are too short even for me.

One piece of advice I can give, and should follow myself, is to filter/screen for height if you use dating sites and ask for full body pics to check if their legs are short.

Cyclone, yes, mostly FC. One last night was a friend of a tinder girl - I went clubbing with 3 girls and pulled the most attractive one of them, or perhaps I should say the least unattractive.

Most FC dates were a waste of time. Girls much uglier than their pics, girls being late or flaking or not banging after coming to my place, but I did have a couple of good lays from there.

I dunno why people are using FC when the quality via Tinder is much, much higher. Which isn't saying much since there's still a bunch of fatties. But there are more stunners if you have the patience to swipe selectively.

I had technical problems with tinder here, will write more about it later. It's working now and yes, the quality there is higher.

There aren't that many attractive girls in Cebu even on tinder, and my standards aren't even that high.

Cebu is where all the women from the visayas go to find work. You're going to find the shorter, more exotic looking women from Mindanao and many of the islands. Based on what you've written, I definitely think you'd prefer Tagal, and to a lesser extent Kapampangan women. They're tall and their facial features are more classically beautiful, though Tagals often have smaller lips. You might have some luck with the Ilocano areas, though I think their features are a bit masculine. Could be an excuse to check out Vigan or Pagudpud.

[Image: Philippine_ethnic_groups_per_province_2.png]

Manila is overflowing with Tagals and Kapampangans, but there's also some safe 3rd tier cities in Bulacan and Pampanga. You'll get bored quickly, but you could hop around a few days at a time. You won't find many bars, but there should be modestly sized malls where women go to socialize. Malalos also has a nice Spanish era church and a marketplace with a decent selection. Foreigners are sparse: I was in Guiguinto once when a French guy came up to talk with me since he hadn't seen a foreigner in a while. You might have some luck finding mestizas (Spanish ancestry mixes) in Cavite specifically. A lot of people there speak a dialect, I think chavacano(?) which resembles Spanish, though honestly I've never been to that part and it's just a guess. Personally I prefer petite women, but I've dated all kinds and the taller women definitely have a different look.

RE: The Philippines thread
Feeling bummed right now. I had a date with a legit model who didn't give it up on the first date even though she came to my place. Because of that date, I had to push back a second date with a non model, though quite attractive, girl I met 2 nights ago who was great in bed. That girl waited for an hour and then went home, refused to go back to my place.

The model seemed to like me, kind of, and I was respectful even though touched her all over and tried to kiss. So there is a chance for a second date with her. She's not an international model, but does photos shoots in Manila and here in Cebu and actually is attractive and quite tall.

Anyway, clubbing it is tonight rolling solo. I'm sober, need to pre drink. Also need luck.

Onward!

Excellent reports from the ground Brodiaga!
Tell us more please: how is the "competition" dressed vs say how you're rolling? I bet they're wearing a T and shorts or an old Jeans at best? While you're showing up suited up? Or at least with a sweet blazer with dress pants or nice jeans?

Is the talent receptive for a well dressed and worldly gent like you and most guys from here?

Since I've been shitting all over this thread, I feel that I should tell you guys how the night went.

For the record, it's 5 20*am and I am standing outside the building where I'm staying, typing this.

A frechie at LIV told me that mango square is better for getting laid. Being drunk, I believed him and bounced there.

At mango, it seemed like all my sins from r the last few days came back to haunt me. I saw the two friends of the girl I fucked the night before grind against tall fuck boys. I saw another slut who didn't fuck me two days ago with some guy.

I hit on a bunch of bitches - attractive and not really - and ended up taking a chubby one back to my place and fucking her while she was on her period. Not ugly, but given that I started the night with a model, I am disappointed.

I just got her a taxi and paid 200 pesos for it as I had promised before. She's a poor girl, so would have been an asshole if I didn't do it.

On a positive note, the model wants to see me again or so it seems.

Om drunk as fuck, balls are drained. Like they say, it's more fun in the Philippines.

CleanSlate's latest trip report has me itching to go back. This time I wanted to go more off the beaten path and get to the 2nd tier cities. Have any of you been to the following cities, and if so, is there any special considerations you'd like to share about them?

- Dumaguete
- Ilo ilo
- Bacolod
- CDO
- Butuan

I've also been to Tagaytay but didn't spend much time there. Does it have a decent night scene? My impression was some upper class Filipinos are buying up condos there for a short getaway from Manila, and it could potentially become the next Fort BGC.

Are they even worth it, or is it better to just stay in the first tier cities for the amount of women and convenience?

I sold a used almost mint honda 110 for about 700 after paying about 1300 new for it 9 months before.

The prices for used scooters vary WIDELY, you can get very good deals.

You can find one with under 10,000 km for under 700. Sell it when you leave. Make sure you get the right papers and check the ID of the person selling it, and get one with the permanent license plate already affixed.

Good work on getting a bang. I never made it to Liv, how was it for talent?

Mango Square open til 6am on Friday. J Ave, Hype, those other places.

I never spent much time at the places on the second floor or that Comedy Club. Anyone have luck at those places? Now I'm getting a craving for the late night food at Azul to reduce the buzz before going back into the clubs haha. Ah, Cebu.
