Maybe it's just the actor, but something seems off or affected about him. His voice has this fake gravely sound.

It's because he's a remorseless high-functioning psychopath who isn't actually capable of feeling love in that sense. The actor is actually doing a great job at conveying how detached from the world he is as a person, same as with Varys's actor.

Yeah but his voice sounds like he's just trying to telegraph "bad guy"

RE: Games Of Thrones : Season 4
I dig Tywin in the show he's hands down the best actor in the series but I will say I think Peter Baelish is very under appreciated the dude came from a low position, full oneitis, gets his ass handed to him in a duel only to later become a pimp, a lord, master of coin, gets married to secure the Vale, shortly after tosses the old wife off a cliff for fresh pussy(couldn't get the mother so goes for the daughter) and would gain Winterfell from the new marriage. Right now it looks like he's the only one winning.

The show is still OK but they have messed up by allowing Tyrion to become so boring.

Dr Johnson rumbles with the RawGod. And lives to regret it.

I think the new guy that they got to play the mountain is big but he doesn't have the emotional intensity of the original guy who cut the horse in half.

I can't imagine him putting his brothers head in a fire.

I don't know why they keep switching his actor. It's stupid.

The first actor broke contract to play an Orc in the new Hobbit movies.

The second actor was really too lanky and didn't have the huge bear-like build of the character. This new guy looks like a proper Mountain.

Damn it. I felt like the first actor was perfect for the role and he had to go and do something stupid like break his contract.

Geez, reading comprehension.

The actor broke the contract. Can't blame him either, Ser Gregor Clegane has extremely little screen time. Getting tied up for several seasons to pop up in two episodes is not something an actor can live on.

If the new star wars movies could bottle even 10% of the intrigue and darkness that GOT has they will have the biggest movie franchise ever

Speaking of actors, I also liked the old Daario Naharis better. Maybe it's the stereotype set by the presentation of Achilles by Brad Pitt in the movie "Troy", but having blond hair really suited him well.

Also, it's strange that they want to put Tyrion on a fake trial instead of trying to find out who the real killer was.

Joffrey was a liability.

Everyone but Cersei was happy to see him go.

I’d rather be far right, than far wrong!

Yes, but I'm sure they'd want to know who was behind it for real.

That's why some people theorize that Tywin was atleast partially behind the thing...or knew it would happen atleast even though Olenna Tyrell and Littlefinger actually did it. Tywin knew Tommen would be easier to control, didn't want a second Mad King, and maybe had a long game plan to frame Tyrion and force Jaime back to be his heir.

We see in the books, and soon in the show, that Tywin clearly is a hypocrite. He doesn't always do what he preaches. He usually follows
the "just don't do it in the open/get caught" philosophy. People say he couldn't kill his own grandson because he values family so much, but it is an act. Plus this is in his eyes better for his own family in the long run.

It makes too much sense because that other guy wants to kill the mountain, so it's a perfect plan, but I don't think the old guy could have anticipated everyone's actions like that so far in advance.

The new king is psyched to be fucking his dead brother's girl.

In the books there's a lot more circumstantial evidence that points to Tyrion. It's kind of glossed over in the TV show like many other events.

This show has a way of pulling your heart out through your fucking mouth every single episode.

Latest episode - wow - just wow.

I never felt so traumatised by a fucking TV show in my life.

Genius.
