Don't worry. Not spoiling anything, but Dany is pretty much GRRM's Red Pill treatise on spoiled, over-privileged women (whether he intended it or not):

- Treated badly by her brother, yet hypocritically becomes more and more like him.
- Makes demands without giving anything back in turn.
- Wants to change the world but ends up fucking over every place she goes because she's too naive and doesn't understand how it works.
- Friendzones the men in her life who would lay down their lives and treat her well
- Gets blasted and used by alphas

Unless HBO changes her story to appeal to all the women who love "Khaleesi", it'll be fun to watch.

Stopped watching this show at the Red Wedding. Really no point after that since most of the characters were gone. I read a bit of the books which I find far superior to the show but it is still a homo rape fest every season ("I'm gonna fuck your ass into the dirt!") plus the pedo themes are a real turnoff. It seems like the author likes slapping his readers in the face. Just when a character (Stark, for instance) gets really interesting, he wipes them off the page. Way too many characters to follow, though I will admit the Lannisters kick ass and take names (A Lannister always pays his debts, haha...right).

Downloading episode 4 now if only to see that bastard Joffery get what's coming to him. THEN I'll quit watching

Jaime raping Cersei.

Everyone was okay when the show was depicting murder, treachery, massacres, slavery, torture, child soldiers, incest, alcoholism, a woman giving birth to a demon, sacrificing newborns, burning people alive, hunting human beings for sport, Eddard being beheaded while his two daughters watch on in horror, children murdering children, robbery, prostitution, and pimping, but rape crosses a line? This is a guy who fucking threw a little boy out a window and has the nickname Kingslayer.

It's not rape culture, it's a guy raping his twin sister in a church in front of their dead incestborn son's corpse. It doesn't promote rape in anyway but show it as monstrous, and certainly doesn't make anyone think rape is in anyway okay.

Sorry for the rant, I needed to get this out of my system and I know the RVFers will feel me on this one.

Nitpicking one horrific moment out of dozens - the pregnant woman getting stabbed repeatedly in the stomach, a girl being hunted for sport, a baby boy being sacrificed in the woods, hell the episode in question also featured a village being massacred and eaten by cannibals, and shot a helpless drunken fool with a crossbow.

Let me be clear: Rape is about as awful a thing as you could do to a person, I wouldn't wish it on anybody, and would never encourage even the most pathetic of motherfuckers to commit. However, I will not deny that it happens in real life and is presented on TV, in this case in a manner that's showing it for how fucked up it is.

On another note: People are getting way too pissed off over a show they most likely pirated.

The best monologues in the show are both from Baelish. "Chaos is a ladder" and the one where he has Rose and another prostitute banging each other while explaining that he is going to fuck his enemies, not fight.

Littlefinger has always been one of my favorite, if not my favorite character.

His coming manipulations will be a pleasure to watch. I just hope that the story in the books does not lead to "Sansa learns to play the game from her master, but then tricks and kills him".

It was hinted in his speech with sansa, but if I had to speculate, he wants to destroy the feudal, lord system and replace it with a merit based society with no king and no ruling class.

He thrives on chaos and whatever his endgame is, he seems to do well when there is more war and strife going on in the country. If anyone stands to gain from an ice age and the seven kingdoms becoming overtaken by white walkers, he almost certainly will find a way to be in a better position than when he started when the dust settles.

As for sansa trumping him, if she were to truly learn from him, she would try to use him as a piece and manipulate him but not actually kill him. There are only 2 books left, doesn't really seem to be enough time for her to flip the script, especially with so much else going on.

That guy doesn't sound legit when he talks about how much loved the mother.

Maybe it's just the actor, but something seems off or affected about him. His voice has this fake gravely sound.
