Mate, I hate Somalians, they are just as fucking backwards as the Roma and thick as fucking shit. I just don't get why these people come from third world shitholes and get all these benefits and live off the governments money. They should be happy they aren't making $5 a day. I have nothing wrong with immigrants at all, but I do have a problem with them not working and taking tax payers money. That's bullshit. I'm American, I was born here, and I'd like free money too, but it just doesn't work that way. I hear about programs where the Cubans are coming over and the government is setting them up with cars. Mother fucker, you know how long I went without a car?! I want a free fucking car! That shits weak. Governments need to make their citizens their first priority. Seriously, if someone's coming over here even making $60 a day, it's still a hell of a lot better than the $5 a day they were making in Mexico!

And that's my rant. That all said, some of my really good friends are immigrants, and they're great people. They don't leach off the government and most make a pretty good living. I even have a good friend who's here illegally, I don't give a shit. He works and pumps a bunch of money into our economy, he's not sending it home to brazil. His family is rich. Even if he was sending it home I wouldn't care all that much, just don't come here and leach off my hard earned money.

I'm not sure where you get your ideas from, but immigrants in America are more successful than native born Americans and have lower crime rates. The idea that most 3rd world immigrants are here because of asylum is a myth. Did you know those 3rd world African immigrants are more likely to have a college degree than even white Americans or Asians?

You clearly nit-picked my opinion from the corner and missed the whole point : If you are talented and want to go, the red tape welcomes you. If you are a criminal and have done nothing but pick your boogers in Mogadishu, the developed world awaits with open arms.

America has had good luck with neighbors. The only people that are actively the way I said come from El Salvador, not even a drop in the bucket compared to the number of Mexicans, who are usually pretty hard-working. The people who have to take a visa (no small deal for the US, I've been refused before and I'm not poor or have history) and a flight are not poor nor uneducated.

I think immigration is great (hell, I am doing it right now, do you really think I'm against it? Check my post history and you might know where I come from), but doing what some countries are doing (The PC belt in west europe) is stupid and self-destructive.

The Pakistanis aren't in Britain for asylum, they come because Britain allows family reunification, and they have pretty fucking big extended families that we let in. They also come in to work for takeaway's (food that is delivered) and stuff, which I think is just part of a clever ruse to get them into country.

I think the immigration in the US is just different. Most of the Brazilians or argis that I know who come here are from wealthy families and come here legally. It seems to be that most of the illegals are Mexicans and Central Americans because it's easy for them to cross the border. But for an African, you sure as hell aren't swimming over the Atlantic. Yeah I'm sure a handful are smuggled in by boats, but actually the most common way to stay in the US illegally is to come on a tourist visa and never go back once it expires. That's how my Brazilian buddy is here illegally. He'd probably be well off in brazil, but he loves to snowboard. He didn't go about it the right way, cause all his other friends pay their dues, but still get to come back every year. A lot of them make it seem pretty easy. I have friends that have legally been coming back for 5-6 + years. They go back to brazil for a couple months, get their paper work squared away, and come back to pretty decent jobs.

I think there's a very important distinction to be made between race and culture. Tuthmosis has quite correctly identified a pattern of hostility directed toward certain people.

But as long as it isn't racist I don't have much of a problem with it. I have no problem criticizing or even rejecting other people's cultural customs and outlooks (depending of course on exactly what they are).

Hostility directed toward someone on the basis of their race is pretty lousy. But hostility directed toward someone for their cultural attitudes can be extremely justified.

I'm all for tolerance, but if it only goes one way, the culture rapidly devolves to resemble a doormat rather than a home.

Somalians are a different breed their has been a vacuum from their simply because there are/were under refugee status for nearly 20 years. The country has been in a state of non-function for close to 8 years now and it is one of the few failed states. Any country with any type of refugee framework can't turn them away as try come here in droves because of that.

About African immigrants yes the majority are successful. You can hustle more money back home in Africa, you come to America because you want something more and to build something legitimate. Education is culturally important and many places still have British styled school systems which are light years ahead of the crap Americans learn. Plus comming over is not cheap, it's 30-50K adventure and you have to have legit systems/links or means in place to make it happen. Only door poor people commig trough are refugees and that makes them no different then the broke Albanians that came over here during thier struggles in the 90s.

Somalians though are ratchet. I am not even sure why. My homie tells me thier is a mystic element to it and they simply have been disconnected to any sense of place or home for to long. They have a YOLO attitude because it's been thier life for far to long.

I'm pretty hammered but I have to weigh in on the African and Pakistani immigrant point.

Yes, many have college degrees. However, the ones who don't ruin the reputation for the rest.
You go downtown, run into some hoodlums or whatever and get robbed, somewhat good likelihood that they were immigrants.
Then you go to the doctor, turns out he was is also an immigrant.

Again, huge distinction to be made here. While 'mighty whitey' is generally middle class with a few doctors and doctorates thrown in, the immigrants are not the same way - you have a greater divide between the educated and the plebes than in polite Western society. That's just how it works in the rest of the world. Nothing wrong with that, it's just different than in America.

It's the lower class that you inevitably get burned by. You could get robbed and beaten by Somalis one night, and go to the doctor and get treated by another (well educated) upper-middle class Somalian the next day. It's going to take another generation or two to hammer shit out, is what I'm getting at.

@Agaysta - as for attractive gypsy women, I can tell you that here even if a gypsy woman is phisically attractive, we'll still stay away from her. yes, in Romanian "țigănie" or "țigăneala" means to do something in a bad or ugly way or that something is done in a bad or ugly way.
