I just looked that up, sorta funny that it's a supplement. A lot of guys as they get older naturally will lengthen telomeres (but in sperm as a heritable gift to the next generation,); there are other threads detailing this as an evolutionary strategy some of us naturally evolved. I've never taken a test nor do I know what age a guy would be considered "old" at being a father (45? 50?)

The amazon comments are funny for that product, a guy saying he's 74 with telomeres the length of a 20 year old, then another guy with a heart condition and relatives that died in their early 60s who had critically short telomeres, and he was 58.

I highly doubt that any supplement increases telomere length - natural history has already found that they dwindle over time, so the key is slowing aging, like with everything else; epigenetics. What will increase the probability that you may activate telomerase (in cells outside the germ line) is eating healthy and working out. It all comes back to that.

No one is living forever. Eat well. Bang young ass. Get on TRT past 40 (if you need to). Lift weights 3-4/week. All of that is proven to work. Also stop reading and start doing.

Regarding the TA-65, from the study they cite themselves on their web page: "The high dose of TA-65 (1000 U) showed a trend of improvements in TL compared with that of the placebo group; however, the improvements did not reach statistical significance."

Draw your own conclusions.

the science to increase telomere length is here, and may be available in the next 10-20 years as a product or service. the problem is its not a pill, but rather you have to edit your DNA. So don't dismiss this idea. We'll see it in our lifetimes. Its just not ready yet. We are going to see this and a lot of other life extension ideas become reality in the next 10-20 years

Telomere is I guess a biological timer...my understanding is little but like all theories I get happy nutty that it could be true and want to buy supplements. (and two fist them). That said the human bodies contain billions of cells...some dying and being cleaned out and some getting made (we have stem cells)...so I don't know where it fits

I do know that the shortest life span animals have a high metabolism rate (food kills especially sugar and carbs)...hummingbird is one, small mammals. It's been proven that by a restricted food intake " it puts the animal or us into starvation mode" the metabolism slows (cell division..e.t.c)

I think they extended the life of mice by 30%...which is huge

I read this science item 20 years ago and it made sense to me....so I didn't go starvation mode by limited how much I ate...and cut out sugar....I think it works and no health issues and lots of energy

Scientist are trying to re-activate or splice in "regrowing" body parts gene....appears we still have it...there's one body part I want to regrow (larger)

Cloning is old news ...but the Koreans are going crazy to perfect it....no sure why

Hibernation (purposely slowed metabolism) ....this extends lives....bears and squirrels are mammals....so of course...off go the scientists to get this for humans...benefits being long term space travel....medical reasons like induced coma for patients e.t.c

Recently in news people can reduce there biological age by doing tons of physical workouts.. but I can only do every other day...so I guess I rot a little faster there.

I know of one type that are literally addicted to the gym. They're always there no matter when I show up, and they are still there when I leave. Well guys even though we are chatting about getting into shape and a little bit about diet. Let's not forget the gym is a group setting of people

The game tools there have nothing to do with gaming apps (well maybe everything has an APP)

It's all back to ...non verbal communication....how to spot flirting.... when does a chick find you attractive....when does a chick open herself up to be approached.

I'm only online for setting up girls for travel...(never works out when I actually see them..just never my type..but I like to learn stuff prior to travel))...maybe I like what I can see.woo and fresh game is sweeter...plus I lie to much on the net

week days...in my area....well it means you don't have Mon-Fri 9 to 5's (unless they stick around after dinner/wine....you got maybe small groups of college kids...shift workers...I live in the center of this city and hear peeps walking past my pace stoned some week nights. (that's my indicator... fuk'd up drunk means no fun)

weekends...if your solo ..and older ...avoid night clubs......stick to bars...become a lounge lizard or bar-fly...if you have a buddy go out to eat and hang around the bar till later. ( or schizophrenic..then bring all yourselves no buddy required)

I move around cities a lot alone....I do fuk all night wise for 2 months (just me though..some peeps maybe years) ...until locally I sort the people out and build (in my mind...chicks interest)

Welcome to the neighborhood for me.....working out at fitness club.....coffee and phone shit to look busy...groceries...laundry/dry cleaning...I do everything but knock on peoples doors saying hello (maybe I'll get a paper route and do that)....I'm always outside meeting people...or being seen...and dressed well

If I can't nail some chick doing that (then I need therapy)...I start doing the bars..starting at local sports bars (where hopefully I'll meet some of the chicks that know me from day gaming)

@rudeboy well you figured something out but lemme elaborate.. on why...as we know "night clubs" are a rut fest. with 20 something drunken suburban perfect teeth chick's promoting fight night. Yep I still night game. I usually go out with two of my friends (ages 36 and 42, respectfully). My roommate (the 36 year old) is fearless with his approaches and actually helps me get my ass in gear.

We hit up a few places around the area, but our new favorite is a sports bar close to our apartment. We've had pretty good luck there so far. Plus the logistics make it pretty easy to pull back to our place. This place usually has 80's cover bands playing live music, and on Wednesdays they have $1 domestic beer. I tend to prefer the weekends there though as Wednesday's crowd is a very young with all the college kids drinking the cheap beer. Not to mention the guy/girl ratio is about 3:1, so you really have to bring your A game since you're competing with much younger guys.

I've had better luck on the weekends as the guy/girl ratio is much better (1:2) and the age range is wider (mid/late 20's to late 30's). The competition also is really nonexistent as most of guys there are older and actually LOOK it. Out of shape, no game, etc.

So really it just reinforces what we all know here: Be in good shape in your 40's and you're already in the Top 5% of men your age. Style, game, finances...all gravy and will just add to your SMV. I HIGHLY recommend night game for guys our age, because once you get out there and see your competition it really boosts your confidence and you realize all the hard work you've put in to better yourself is about to pay dividends. Online game for us can be a bit more difficult because women may see your age and automatically think 'dad bod' because that's all they see when they go out.

^ This.. I am back in a place after being away for a number of years back and forth. I see women my age now that I used to know, even ones a number of years younger than me, that were once hot, and now are not. How the tables have turned. However the thirst here is worse than it ever was, I see good looking young guys with overweight crusty women at the end of the night because they are drunk, young and horny, as we once were. Its great now i can just walk away, as well as knowing in the back of my mind that there are so many better places in the world.

When I was younger I think I may have been a sex addict or something, I used to get so anxious if I didn't have a girl, a number, a make out or something at the end of the night.

My night-game is usually pubs, which have a mixed/mature crowd. A sense of peace and calm is what I feel now, I enjoy it so much more now because I am not just a thirsty testosterone fulled walking erection like I was 20 years ago.
