First time I approached a Turkish girl today.
She was a bit apprehensive at first. I can't quite remember how I got her to open up and stay but my frame was just my typical dominant frame. We talked for a good bit and she did open up, but she kept her personal space for sure. Don't know if this was a cultural thing or just a bit of apprehension. I didn't get her number - she just thought it was "strange" to go out with a stranger. She asked if I were her what would she do?
I humorously responded that I'd be intrigued by this handsome confident stranger who's asking me to meet him in a public place, so he's definitely not gonna stab me in the back. She laughed and did compliment me for that confidence, but I suspect her "stranger" apprehensions just overruled her.
Maybe I should have just asked her for her number and then used the "if you don't want to text me back" line seen at other times in this thread instead of being specific about a date, but the takeaway was how much I got her to open up despite her apprehension at first.
If she doesn't blow you off immediately, maintain a dominant frame and see what can come out of it.

Direct game needs to be used very strategically. I was going extremely direct all day just to try it out. I'm smooth, confident and forward. I only received 2 numbers out of at least 10 approaches. I wasnt running after girls like Krauser, but just incredibly direct. This was more of an experiment than anything. I did, however, get an instant makeout In the daytime with a seven halfway through which emboldened me to go for another 5. Later in the evening I switched back to my half listening, qualifying, aloof and cocky self. This worked way better and I'm sticking with it. My style is half clown, half Don Draper. I began with interesting ramble, shifted to disinterest, re engaged with false sincerity, and then proceeded to hit on another girl and came back to the original 30 mins later. She jokingly called me a bitch and I said "don't you ever call me a bitch again, bitch". We ended up making out in the parking lot. She's a freak. We'll probably fuck Friday after my injury is better.

I don't know why your # close ratio should be so low with being direct if you're 6'3" and handsome. Maybe your frame is off or you're not approaching in the right places.
My # close ratio is much higher than that and I really don't bother with indirect openers.

A lot of what you think are rejections don't have to be, and I'm not even sure that can even be counted as a rejection. Yes you should have pushed it. Reframe it with some humor. You should have at least asked for her number. If she protested more strongly then let it go.

some people are just better at direct and some are better at indirect. I get plenty of numbers running game, but I'm more concerned with how the interaction goes. I know by the end of a conversation if I'll be seeing her again. It was a nice change of pace though. Of course I could use improvement so I do things that make me uncomfortable.

I'm still searching for my perfect method, but I know I feel more comfortable conversing with women in a library or on a campus rather than a bar or nightclub; those are places I just can't operate effectively. This day was an experiment to test my limits. I hit on girls about to workout, studying, with guys, or in large groups. Not many ended with numbers but I felt good, and it makes talking to a girl you see alone or with a friend a piece of cake. Sometimes my weakness is escalating too fast, but from I've noticed girls are always responsive; border lines turned on by my sexual suggestiveness, but their hamster would make them feel like sluts, since I mainly go after sober girls. I usually do a good job maintaining frame and was out with someone relatively new, but eager, to hit on chicks. While we both opened some sets, together and solo, some girls whose numbers I acquired confided that my friends thirst was evident; I think this is common when starting out. Hybrid seems interesting and I think I'll give that a go today at school I'm "attending".

Random thought related to the topic. Very good way to check how good is your "approach game" in daytime is to go fully casual and boring verbally and focus on most of your effort on subcommunication like body language voice and vibe.
So for example saying stuff like...
- excuse me.. one second.. hi.. are you French?
- no I'm Italian
- hmm French-Italian that's my favorite cocktail
- I'm not French blablabla
- ok where, Rome? milan?
- yes milan
- perfect.. I'm big fan of their footbal team we could watch their game sometime
- you're not in a rush today what do you do?
- I'm blablabla
- interesting..
Stuff like that. If girls don't enjoy that kind of a convo in general then there's something about your vibe that put them off so focus on that first and foremost. direct or indirect doesn't matter.

Last week I pulled the ultimate daygame move - approached a girl at 3PM outside of class and 30 minutes later had her at my apartment.
Details: I met up with my boy who loves to daygame and is really good at it. Unfortunately he has a girlfriend so we don't go after it as much as we used to. We meetup and start approaching by my campus.

Approach 2. I notice an absolute fucking dime latina girl walk by and think holy shit, time to redeem myself I need to approach her. I tell my friend to take out his iPhone and get a good video of this. Just a question, it doesn't deserve it's own thread: anyone ever tried "Business Card" game?
I've thought about handing a business card to girls I've chatted up in the past. It's for my own company and has my cell phone and land line number on it. I don't worry about the land line because I've got it set to go directly to the cell phone. I haven't done it yet because I worry about getting a "What's this for?" look from them. The advantage would be plausible denial. You can always say: "I was not hitting on you, just trying to give you my card."
I'm sure this has all been discussed before, just lack the time to search for it.

The Turkish girl I mentioned on the previous page actually asked for a business card. I haven't tried it though. It might be a way to display some status though especially if you're in the right field (ie: a hedge fund, a prestigious law firm, etc.) Would be interested to hear from others on this.

Agreed, you don't want plausible deniability for hitting on a girl.
You want her to know that you're hitting on her so you don't waste time with a girl who's not attracted to you.
