*Lesson: I'm good at direct day-game, however I'm better at it when I start off jogging. For some reason just the act of jogging towards the girl builds mental momentum and I come off with a lot more energy and confidence.

I'm a low-energy dude overall, but I have 10X more success spitting during the day and pulling girls at night when my energy is high. Girls love me when I'm high energy, talkative, cracking jokes etc, so it's important for me to find ways to stay in 6th gear. Running and pulling around front really helps build and keep momentum.

I got a funny one.

I've been going to this coffee shop every morning, and really digging the girl working there. She is really sweet and feminine girl in her mid to late 20's originally from Brazil, but no accent to speak of. Great little body and sweet disposition. A solid 8.

Pulling a chick in mid-day traffic is always a challenge for obvious reasons.

Made a joke about how I bet her family hide the Thanksgiving turkey and she seriously said no . It was a good day .

Well I generally don't like documenting my approaches unless there's something to really learn from them. This time there is.

Today was the day I finally did my first-ever direct daytime cold approach. No bullshit involved, just a direct, fucking ballsy approach.

Again, I don't really like using the 10 scale, but if I absolutely had to I'd give this girl a solid 8. Very attractive Asian chick with the curves that you often don't find on those girls.

She works in my barber's shop and I'd been seeing her on and off for years, generally just ogling her, but that was then.

I was direct and ballsy and told her she looked nice, made flirtatious eye contact, no attempt to hide my attraction, etc. She seemed into it at first despite my being a bit nervous. She even asked me about what I was doing this weekend which I generally take as a good sign (though this is something I'd like some input on from some more experienced guys like some of the good people on this forum).

After I could feel the conversation would be dying soon I ended it and planned to flirt with her again and ask her out when I was leaving the shop.

Just my luck that somebody was going to act as a cockblocker of sorts (unintentional) when that situation arose, but I did it anyway. Unfortunately this brought an unwelcome third wheel that probably made things awkward for her. She told me she was "taken" but told me to "keep coming."

Now I'm thinking one of two things is true:

1. She's really "taken."
2. She isn't and just wanted to exit the situation gracefully.

I'm not quite certain myself if this was a full-blown blowoff, because of that third wheel there. "Keep coming" might be a way to put it off or a way to invite me back.

In any case, I can't feel bad about anything though. I finally did it. A year ago this simply would not have been something I'd even THINK about, let alone DO.

I've been doing 2 days after for a while as recommended by Bang but it appears I lose the momentum we had to "appear busy." That said if she fanned you off no matter the reason you can't actively do any more. You can go to the barber shop as normal and be charming, but the only way you get a second chance is if she heavily hints at wanting to go out with you.

Her reasoning for not saying yes should never concern you. What should is how you could have done the approach more smoothly without interference, or how you could have built more rapport before pulling the trigger.

Look forward, don't even place her on a mental back burner, she is off the stove entirely unless she tries to get back on. Still good practice to talk with her and do light friendly flirting.

I usually text them within a few hours of meeting them. Sometimes, within 20-30 minutes.

For example, if I get her number at 1pm and we shared a laugh, I usually text her 20-90 minutes later saying -- "Hey its Gio, nice meeting you." I also include a reference to whatever joke we were laughing about.

I am really enjoying this Indirect style. It's relaxing compared to the intense Direct stuff that I have been doing for the last few months.

Wanted to post week before Saturday , but I slack off . At 3:00 p.m. , I left work with my Saturday jog of 4 miles and decided I had to talk to three girls and not just one . 39 minutes later on a main street , I see a girl.with a Tahiry -shaped ass in high-waist jean and crop top . She turn off a street by this Catholic church/school and I halt my running for now . I walked slowly to catch my breath and notice she was looking back twice . When I came up to talk , she was like " What . " with a digusted look on her face . She was 5"4 , strong jaw , broad nose , thick lips , a lot of gaps in her teeth , and beady eyes . Skin color is hot chocolate . A 5 . I told her good day and walk up before continuing to run . 2 days later , I saw her going to McDonald's with 4 teenager boys and realize a few things . She is in high school . I seen her a lot actually when I run downhill , but that when I used to be running at 1 something . My town is small . Lastly , the digusted look on her face was probably due to hsving white stuff on my lips . Note : do not lick your lips if you have gum in your mouth . It create a paste which was on my lip while I was working .

15 minutes later , I am on the main street again coming the opposite way and a pear-shaped dark skin walking down the street . Having sprinted completing my run in an hour and 12 minutes ( bad ) , I was exhausted . Regardless , I definitely had to say something . She had a 5"3 , round face and jaw , wide mouth and a pretty mile . Her hair was short with 3 burgundy braids in a circle ending in a short wavy ponytail . Never understood making your hair short and wearing weave . She had on black flat shoes and a super tight , soft and short black dress that stop less than mid-thighs . Thick calves and thighs , wide hips with an ass stick out like it suppose to ( about time ) , a flat stomach , and b-size breast . Skin color is dark coffee bean . A 7 . She was looking at the trophy shop when I wheezed out " Nice .. butt. "

Well the reason why I asked is because she seemed to be responding well to my flirting and showing interest in me, asking me a question or two at first, but then at the end it could be her hamster not wanting to agree to a date in front of somebody she knows.

You are correct in two respects though: I should have probably tried to build a bit more rapport at the beginning (I noted that afterward), and secondly, don't think about her or anything else except what I can actively control.

Lothario and Giovonny approach at a Midwestern University

BackGround: I am catching up on typing the approaches that were made about a month ago when Gio was visiting.

Keep in kind that I usually game on safe mode when in my town, I transform into an Approach machine on out of town trips.

First day I watched Gio in action running around the Campus, actually I gave him a tour of the Hospital related buildings and showed him my usual hunting ground and opened a couple of girls with “Do you know where is the Starbucks” and the approaches went no where.

Gio wanted more targets and asked me where are the University Students and where are the classes, dude even told me It’s 11:30 they should be getting out of classes at 11:50.

Me: Back to NY, taking summer off work and travelling from Barcelona to South of France.

Me: you should , Listen ! me and my friend are going to check out this Spanish Tapas Place this thursday, why don’t you join us and bring a hot friend to accompany my friend and I point towards Gio,.

he comes in and joined the convo and we exchange numbers and agree to meet two days later. Upon Gio’s Instructions I text her a few hours later but no response.

That was my only umber of the day, I think Gio got 3-4 numbers in couple of hours of gaming on Campus.

At the end of the day we went to work out and Gio opens the girl at the counter with “Is that a Star Fish in your Necklace” , (remember this line guys I am going use it next day) ☺ banter a little and we go work out and I get a pep talk from Gio, He told me my days of opening girls with “where is the starbucks” is behind me and I should amp up the directness next day.

Well, actually, there is nothing wrong with asking for directions.

I, myself, have been using a more INDIRECT style lately.

Looking back, I think what I meant was -- You don't have "warm up" on 6's anymore -- You are skilled enough now to go straight to the 8's!

Indirect is okay. I actually like indirect right now. It's relaxing to not be so aggressive all the time!

** I am getting back to OPENING INDIRECT and MAKING A CONNECTION before going for a number**

For the last year or so, I did get fascinated with DIRECT but now I am transitioning back to indirect. I think for most guys indirect is better, in general. That said, there is still a time to go direct but very experienced guys will be able to differentiate as to when its best to do it.

Right now, I am mostly indirect but with a very direct masculine vibe.

Honestly, I think the fact that I am dressing much better allows me to go indirect while still projecting a enough swagger to be attractive.

My first post to this thread, as I haven't been approaching chicks much before now.

So, last night, I met my buddy in Dublin city centre, and we headed to some pubs in Temple Bar.
First up is Farringdons, a bog standard tourist pub in the middle of Temple Bar, that plays trad music.
Truth be told, I'm not into these one dimension tourist bars with loud music, but they are goldmines for meeting foreign chicks.
You won't meet any EE/FSU 7,8s or 9s here but there's plenty of Brit/US/German/Scandi chicks around, 5s and 6s, occasionally a 7, so it's good batting practise for us.
My bro chats up a German 5.5 and her friends who's maybe a 6, it's a nice warm up set, we have some fun banter with them, but they're leaving soon, plane to catch in the early hours.

Next we go to The Porter House, on the face of it, it's another awful fucking tourist joint and very fucking loud as well, but again, it's a good place to meet tourist girls (if you can hear them above the sound of the band).
I open a set of three girls, two US, one Scottish, the one I like is a 6, the other two, a 5.5 and a 5
My opener? "Are you Australian?" It really is that simple!
We're going fine here, til my buddy points out the cute one is married! (This guy notices everything).

We chat a bit and I give them a couple of light compliments, the 6.5 blonde seems to take an immediate liking to me, and drags me onto the dancefloor.
30 seconds later, we're kissing and I'm feeling her slender tight 20 years old body against mine. Nice. I'm a good twenty years older than this babe.
The song finishes and we're back with her friends, the girl starts chatting to some male college friends, and I look for my buddy.
She's a bit drunk and I get the feeling her friend is protecting her and will probably cockblock the lay, plus my bro is ready to leave anyway, and I got shit to do tomorrow, so we hit the road.
Perhaps I could have gotten the lay, had I persevered, but I was happy with the night. Every day, I'm getting a little bit better with women, feels good.

Day 2 : We go to the biggest Library on Campus, I had to be honest with Gio, I had never stepped foot inside because of my fear that I might run into students that I know through my social circle.

She was again looking at me with the doe eyes and her pupils were surely dilated , Man I can’t forget them Blue eyes. This was the highest point of the day for me even though the approach didn’t get anywhere.

I was on a roll at this point, next 3 approaches yielded 3 numbers to be posted later as soon as I get some time to type.

My cold approach game has been rusting away a lot so the past few weeks I've been working on getting back into it.

I had a good night last night making approaches and all of them went pretty well, but more importantly something that I've read over and over again finally clicked for me...

I didn't get rejected enough. I actually woke up wishing that I had gotten rejected more. It's finally clicked for me that if I'm not getting rejected in at least 50% of my approaches then I'm not approaching hot enough girls.

There are probably some guys out that are so good looking that they get rarely rejected, but I'm not one of them. I'm above average and I work on all the things that I can change but I'll never be one of the dudes that is getting by on my looks. I think this is true for most of the guys on the forum.

Roosh and other guys talk a lot about how rejection is a necessary step to get to the hot girls but it's one of those things that doesn't click until you learn it yourself.

So basically, if you're not getting rejected then you are doing yourself a disservice. The way to up your quality is to find that level of attractiveness where half of the girls aren't interested in you and half are interested in you.

This is probably all rehash for the guys in this thread but it just hit me hard today that even while increasing my cold approaches I was still holding myself back by subconsciously only going for girls that I knew would receive me well based on our respective levels of attractiveness.

@Blunt That's a good point bro. About 50% of my approaches last weekend were good in that at least the girl or girls were pleasant and friendly and glad to chat to an attractive guy, even if it went nowhere (bar one). But the other 50% went nowhere, I actually got one or two ignorant chicks who pretty much ignored me, or walked away. Good thing is this didn't deflate me like my previous beta self. Fact is, not all the chicks you approach are gonna be into you, and of the ones that aren't, some are just ignorant ass bitches, and really they're not worth another moment of your time. I'm starting to internalise this and it definitely helps. You're filtering out the worthless girls from the ones that will appreciate your charm, looks and personality.

Often times, we have to "time" our steps. It's often valuable to meet them at a "Choke-Points". A door way, an entrance, an exit, an elevator, an escalator, the line for coffee, etc.

Arriving the these points at the same time as them often gives us a good opportunity to open them.

I have to say, I learned a lot from Simon. He is an expert in diet and exercise. He improved my workouts and helped identify some of my sticking points.
