Can anyone confirm?

When Tinder first came out, I don't think there were enough girls on it and I wanted a Tinder Liker app, but it was too soon, so I gave up on Tinder.
Now it's all had time to marinate- more girls, and they made that Liker app. I'm glad I did a search for it. It's like a WMD for Tinder.
I tried finding something like that to automate OKC but couldn't.
There used to be an OkC hack site.
Essentially some kid who reverse engineered OkC and was able to create some useful tools that allowed you to optimize your profile / experience.
For example, being able looking up the most popular male profile in NY or LA (being in London UK at the time) and building your profile similar to theirs. Or learning and tweaking your rating on the site.
But I think they made hime shut it down. haven't been able to find anything like it since.

How soon after she gives you her number should you text? I'm pushing for a monday night date with her, and she wants to check her work schedule. I figure I'll hit her up tomorrow?

These days, almost any time that i receive a girl's number, I text right away to confirm that the number works. In those kinds of contexts, I would NOT get into any kind of substantive discussions.
Yet, now I am thinking that I do NOT text right away in cases that you seem to be describing where there seems to be some direct or implied agreed upon time to follow up, which would be in a case that either one of you is following up on something or checking into something (such as a schedule or a potential timing conflict) then I would follow the timeline that seems appropriate with however much time seemed necessary for the other action to take place.
any fb page like suggestions to help you with tinder's algorithm ?
Not sure if anybody noticed this. When you delete your account it still remembers your account and all you have to do is log in again and its back. This wouldn't reset the matches I reckon.
You have to clear all the cache and data for the app. It doesn't actually keep your data
Tinder doesn't really have an algorithm. You are in a pool with everyone. Recently active users to the front
Anyone had success with Tinder in Vegas. Would think this would be a goldmine!
Asked an Indian chick if she lives with her parents. She asks me why that matters.

How old is she?
20. Its starting to seem like all the Indian and Asian girls on tinder want a boyfriend and respond horribly to guys who want to hook up. Looks like I'll need to adjust my game, real life and online, for these girls.
Now that the "Moments" feature has established itself, I've noticed a couple of trends.
First, by sharing moments, girls are inadvertently outing themselves as SIFs or less attractive than their profile pictures let on. This has saved me a bunch of time, both in text game and pointless real-life meetups.
Secondly, these moments show us just how boring the day-to-day lives of most girls are. "Cheers to the weekend!!" with a picture of a Bud Light Lime or something dumb like that seems to come up in my Moments feed regularly.

Hahahah sooo true ! 2 girls I got numbers from ended up being SIFS and I stopped texting them.
You're right, the girls who do use moments are usually boring or saying come hangout with me, lets blaze, blah blah.
Just got the LG G3, brand new superphone and Tinder reset to the previous version without moments, etc. I was wondering if they got rid of the feature, guess it's just this phone and a compatibility issue. Bummer. Missing that easy DHV/conversation restarter/SIF filter.

Run perfect text game
2 girls that agreed in principle agree to meet up
say they working X day, ask what time/suggest times
Day and a half later they both unmatch me
cool man...

Your message here seems to be internally contradictory (I don't mean that in a negative judgmental way).
What I mean is that you are suggesting that you texted perfectly, but then nothing came of the back and forth and then you are prepared to NEXT them.. which is fine.. I guess..
Moving on is frequently a good choice, but if you are writing about it here, then you may be thinking that something may have been lacking in the interaction or that it was just these girls who had issues?
It may have been that just each of these girls were NOT good matches... or unwilling to commit to meeting or flakes? Seems that the lesson may be either to get the girls to commit to something concrete early on or they are NOT going to follow through?

Yes, the selfies in moments are eye openers.
Have you guys ever messaged the girls right after they post a "anyone want 2 hang?" moment? I never had a free night when the girls posted that so i didn't experiment. In retrospect i should have messaged them just for the fun of it even though i was busy. I imagine that either there is a stampede of dudes messaging her and competition is fierce or you get lucky and no ones paying attention.

I think it happens that sometimes you run perfect text games and the girls drop out. who knows why. maybe they just had a bad tinder date and need a break for a while. maybe they just got banged hard and are temporarily satisfied. maybe their boyfriend caught them cheating. maybe some guy ran even more perfect text game.... (he is a start up billionare, polyglot jujitsu philanthropis with an 8 pack)
however.... i think it is rare for girls to unmatch guys. at least they never never never unmatch me as far as i notice. girls i spoke to about only unmatch guys that are offensive to them. when you get an unmatch i think it is more likely that they deleted their tinder account. in which case don't worry, they'll be back

The worst/last time Id want to hit a girl up is if she says she wants to hang. Like you said stampede of dudes wanting her attention, she gets to weight out options. Fuck that, don't play that game and remove yourself from it. Hit her up at the most random time and see if she bites, typically I unmatched girls who post moments that stopped talking to me, most of the girls who have moments turn out to be a sif anyways, next.
An easy red flag to notice is when a girl puts its skype, instagram or twitter account. They are only for the attention. Even ugly girls are doing it. Swipe left and save your time.

Regarding your first point, I think that you are onto something that the reasons could be really varied regarding flaking... and probably it is NOT too productive to get too caught up into that, unless there is some later follow-up and you want to call the girl out on that.
You may also be correct about the rarity of the unmatch, unless the girl was offended... or deleting their account, but it seems that your description of "perfect text game" would mean that you believe you did NOT offend them? OR, you are considering that it may be possible that these girls deleted their accounts? OR you are just moving on without giving too much further consideration to this?

You're right in some cases, but i'd disagree in most. Experience tells me that most girls with their instagram (common) are of course looking for attention, but also still looking for the right guy to wow them. I've got two dates scheduled this week from girls on tinder that i never matched with; one rich teen russian girl in london for the summer (don't dare ask how old she is) and one 18 year old gap year chick who should model bikinis judging by the thirst on her instagram. All by adding and messaging them on instagram.
So i wouldn't write them off straight away. Alway an angle to play. And if it fails, no harm.
horn 路 2014-08-19 18:27:00 路 #2450
Yeah, like >50% of the girls I see on tinder have their IG on there. I think it's a great angle.
