Met a girl last night at a bar, got the number and kiss close. Leaving town for a few weeks, today is my last day in town. Should I text her and try and make plans for today? It's a Sunday and I can see her being free but not sure if I should do it.

Do you just put the convo on ice and do a non-sequitur when the time comes? I would say try calling in 5 days. Just text at maybe 10pm, next thursday, "i will call you in half hour to touch base with you" or just "I'll call you in about a half hour" then ask her out for the next week in 5 days time. That is my suggestion.

So I've met with this girl last Friday. This time I went all in and played my cards right. We went to my place after some beers and I got the bang.

I've texted her on Monday, suggested meeting on Friday.

Ok boys I would like a little bit of advice and what my next move should be.

Heres a small series of events leading up to the current "what the fuck do I do next" position:

1) Sit down at the bar of a restaurant, shortly after a cute girl sits down next to me. She initiates conversation, and in my peripheral vision, I can see her giving me a full up and down assessment. She likes what she sees, great. After I closed my bill, brief exchange of words and got the number.

2) Next day, she texts me first. After creating serious impatience on her part through time frame control in texting, we finally agree to meet up that night.

3) After a decent couple hours (and knowing this wouldn't end up in the bang that night), I walk her to her car and close the night off with a make out.

4) Except for a small friendly conversation I had with her the day after that first date, 3 days go by, in which I thought she would have texted by then, but I figured fuck it, Ill give her a ring and plan to meet up. No answer. I later find out she peaced out of the country that night for several days.

5) Several days after her return, knowing that she definitely saw my call before she left, I reluctantly send off a text. She immediately responds, and I later ask her if she wants to meet up that night. She says she will get speak to me when she gets out of class that evening. I figured 50/50 chance she gets ahold of me, and the evening goes by and I don't hear from her.

I currently find myself stuck on what to do next. To be honest, I feel like its probably a lost cause, but for what reason I am unsure, as Iv run good game on her up until now, with the addition of knowing she is very attracted to me. Unfortunately, she is definitely one of my hotter 'on the go' prospects, which is probably why I am writing this post, and already caring this much is a horrible habit, but it would be a nice notch to get.

I didn't end up sending anything, yesterday evening she texted me out of the blue that we can hit base when she comes back.
