Yeah, it's the word for prostitute (it's an interesting word since fuuzoku is kanji for customs) and again girls like talk shit and generalize thing they know shit about, it's almost impossible to tell the differences between prostitutes and 'normal' girls in Japan, they are very good at 'good girl' act, the cute college girls you banged could've worked in a Soapland and starred in porn for all you know, and no 15 years old working in fuuzoku business, I wonder where she heard that from.

I've been with 'normal' girls and fuuzokujo, some shave, some trim, some don't.(most of them don't)

There has been a definite move towards grooming, especially among the younger, more fashionable types. You can thank Paris Hilton and other celebs for that.

I'd wager that 90% have been at least once. Prostitution was legal in Japan for centuries until the Americans enforced their puritan views after the invasion. So you are dealing with a totally different culture with little shame about this kind of activity.

Some ex-colleagues of mine took a weekend trip to Korea. They undertook in no tourism whatsoever. Just went to brothels and came back.

I've had clients openly invite me to brothels...in front of my female colleagues. Only in Japan!

@Felix88. Yeah... It's actually one of the more depressing aspects of the country, in my opinion. The Japanese guy I roll with actively targets fuuzokujou because the "hottest ones" have shit tons of money. They can take down some serious money just in one day. I was at a wedding recently where the bride was "ojoosan" or a girl in a box, in her college years. The two best looking women at the wedding were famous in their group of friends for going out with older men for gifts.
