Of course they think they deserve a serious relationship.

I know guys who have turned 40 and they cannot even comprehend the idea of dating a twenty something girl.

You're so right about guys in their 30s with old ladies. I just watched Martha Stewart on Wendy Williams. Martha was complaining about being alone. So Wendy asks if she dates men of her age (60+). She scoffs at Wendy and says absolutely not -- that's too old. Then tells a story about dating a guy last year that was the age of her daughter (34). The crowd cheers and Wendy says good for you Martha. I'm sitting in front the TV in shock. Why would a guy in his 30s date an old lady? Maybe its a money grab? I doubt it -- a guy running in Martha's circle would probably be successful. Fame? At 34, I'd rather date a 25 yr old hairdresser than a 60 yr old millionairess. Its just shook me to the core that someone in their 30s would fuck a 60. Rudeboy is right -- repulsive!

A fat girl will not get me hard, an ugly girl will not get me hard, only attractive girls get me hard-when I was 14 a slight breeze could get me hard, a shadow shaped like an ass could get me hard, a 45 year old mother of 6 could get me rock hard.

At 40-41 years old I have had sex with a 18 year old, a 32 year old, and a bunch of 22-24 year olds and none of them could handle me, and every single one tapped out. To a woman every single one had to take a break, tap out til later, or promised more sex in the morning but were too sore to continue. I am not special, any man in shape, under 60 and fucking someone attractive should get the same results.

Also I share a similar experience. I currently spin 2 regular plates (LTR status) and #2 girl usually "passes out" during sex and needs recovery time. #1 girl is usually in better shape but occasionally also needs rest.
I eat healthy and lots of proteins. I noticed a lot of people eating mostly carbs and how they lack energy. That is also a factor.
Also. if you are doing it regularly (4-5 times a week) your body get accustomed to it. If you are not getting any, you probably need to get use to it first.

Hmm.. I guess, need to regularize this to my 5/6 am 7 habits life.

This is the part that MILFs miss - they confuse being able to get with a younger guy with being able to get the younger guy.

And I don't think programming has anything to do with it - if a guy sees an easy lay, especially nowadays in a half-ruined by feminism western nation, he's more likely to take it. He may not want to do it again, but given the choice of going home and beating off versus sending it into an aging MILF, he might just say fuck it (quite literally).

Lowered social standards makes it less shameful for both parties, but no amount of conditioning makes her more attractive than her younger peers. Ditto for all of that "body positive" horseshit trying to sell us fatties as hotties.

I think in general, women confuse getting with attractive men with being able to actually keep them. I suspect this is one of the biggest factors behind their becoming bitter - getting pumped and dumped by a string of men more attractive than themselves without the hoped for commitment does a real number on their self esteem. Which is when they start to look around for Mr. Nice Guy, lol :-p

RE: Older Guys (40+)
I need advice from the Older Guys.

I outlined in this thread how my ltr plate was treating me. It was unanimous, I had to dump her. When it came time to happen a few days after I made that thread, she dumped me. I wrote about it a little, but held back writing about it too much here.

tl;dr - help, Im still thinking about my ex 5 months later.

I met this girl doing my usual approaching. we fell in love fast. She wanted to dump me after continuing to spin other plates, after 4 months in. I begged her to stay. The relationship eroded from there(she got REALLY bitchy). I made a few other mistakes like forgetting my passport was expired(by two months) before we went on a trip, and accidentally losing her wallet when she stashed it in my bag on another trip. She was distant, bitchy, narcissistic, etc. Earlier in the relationship it looked like we were headed for marriage, she proclaimed her love for me, way before I mentioned it, etc. She was over her head with me for three months, it was like the early LTR's I had as a young man, blissful, exciting. Then it went totally downhill after all of this stuff happened, etc. I became the worst beta version of myself I have ever been, ever, to try and save it. It ended after almost a year.

So... I am still thinking about her after 5 months of no contact that I initiated. We broke up, I asked her to come back, she did, and I couldn't hold back and told her my intentions were to marry her. I think this freaked her out and she left for good. I blocked her from every social media platform, and moved on, total no contact for 5 months and blocked social, I totally dropped out of her life. I have been with several girls since and I am seeing someone, for the last 5 months. Its been a good experience, my new girl is nice. No drama, just sweet times. But I didnt fall for her, like my last.

Still thinking about this last girl. 5 months on. I thought I should unblock her at least. She hasnt reached out to me. I thought I might in the future. At this age, early 40's, she was the only other woman I considered marrying, other than my ex wife. Things like approaching, etc, dont really even interest me anymore, even though I regularly have women in my life. The last six months have lead me to a much deeper level of self discovery. I have read and reconnected with friends and family, traveled, and now I know myself. I am a much more well rounded person now. I am 90% sure now I want to remarry and have more children. When I met her I was 100% apposed to remarriage, etc.

Have any of you older guys been through something similar? My plan is to stay no contact indefinitely unless she contacts me.

RE: Older Guys (40+)
Vaun,

You're not done yet. You have to stop hoping for this woman back. I've been there too, and leaving doors open just in case she wants to get in touch is unhealthy. You need to focus on your future, being married and having children WITH SOMEONE ELSE.

Right now you are her "jerk ex-boyfriend" to everyone she meets. You are sitting passively waiting for her to seek you out. Stop.

Make a list of all of the qualities you want in your next wife and go find someone new who fits those qualities. The woman you want is exceptional, so of course she will be hard to find. But stop trying to fit your ex into this role out of convenience. The past is the past.

That's all I've got. I've been there. You can't just stop thinking about what might have been. Then one day, you do just stop. Your day is coming. Don't go backwards.

Thanks man, this is really good advice. I am just waiting for that day, its taken way longer than I expected. I have kept it under control by not contacting her. I have a lot on my plate otherwise, so I am busy. Part of me thought that the no contact would make her come back to me. Also, I thought that she was waiting for me to contact her, as if I had to prove it to her, etc. The hard part is that I traveled extensively with her for almost a year, and had a very deep and intense relationship with her, and its completely gone now, like it never happened. I have held off from contacting her completely, and have no plans of breaking no contact. I just want to stop thinking about it.

I wouldn't believe it. It's woman fantasy porn storytelling. Even easier to be deceptive about, though, ha

Let's be real, a lot of men would stick by wives who were hot at one time and gave this to them, and kids, because they will then have the utmost respect for them

Career women didn't, and never considered, doing anything of the sort.

RE: Older Guys (40+)
@Vaun been there my G. Sometimes we ignore definite red flags because I had a soft spot for a bitch. Linux passed along some good game in that thread to you linked to. You admit in there as well that you could have been tighter in terms of your frame. I would venture a guess (at the time) she filled a void left from your marriage, just as your current 5 month relationship did for you rebounding off your LTR.

As I was reaching the point of no return in my marriage, I rekindled an old flame. In hopes of lessening the pain of an emotionally traumatic lifestyle change I gave this chick face time than was warranted. It's only in looking back that I can trace my missteps. To be totally honest, we only spent limited time in each others company so we usually left things on a high note. It was at this point where I gave myself license to spend more time, let my guard down some bring her into my world. As things progressed, she met my kids, and started doing things to integrate them into her life which is classic girl game. I started to notice my strong opposition to marriage start to loosen.

Needless to say, it crumbled long before reaching that point, but that doesn't mean it didn't cause some grief and disappointment. Approaching + Bagging other chicks=Getting over your ex is an oversimplification for the most part. For men, we can be harder to convince when it comes to entering a LTR but once we decide it's a go we dive in head first. Based on your own experience, and many others I don't have to remind you how women get in & out of such commitments. However, knowing what we have invested and the depth of our feelings, we tend to want to salvage this "investment" even when it no longer is bringing us the benefits it once did.

Only through the passage of time, self reflection and continuing putting yourself in front of more suitable women can you really move forward.

Despite your best intentions, by you unblocking her you are setting yourself down that road of eventually seeking reconciliation. My two cents.

This is my achilles heel. I run hot blooded. In that thread as I explained, I got really mad at her for her behavior, which probably came as a result of her being very hurt from catching me spinning other plates. I got mad and said some mean things, nothing crazy, but just bad. I keep replaying that scene, as if I kept it under control in that moment, and more calmly dealt with it, maybe we could have gotten through it. If my biggest lesson is learning from this, I am better off.

A friend of mine mentioned this about my marriage. My ex wife and I had a very similar relationship. Started off intense, got married within a year, traveled and did everything together for years. And I never felt bad about the loss of our relationship of 10 years. Only losing the family when I got divorced. This was my second LTR in six years after being divorced, but the first time I have been dealing with a bad breakup in over 15 years.

Thats the perspective I need right now, guys who have gone through similar situations. My first LTR after my divorce sounded a lot like the one you were in. I can relate, it was nice to have at the time. It could be why I want to remarry. I have seen a lot of divorced guys marry right away and that always turned me off. After over 5 years of being divorced, I might want to try again.

Thats my plan. Staying no contact. Taking care of my life. Working my ass off. Meeting girls as they come. And just enjoying it. There are no shortage of attractive high quality girls. I dont "lack abundance." This was chemical, but its just taking longer than I expected.

RE: Older Guys (40+)
When you block communication with your ex (or they to you) you really are permanently closing the door to getting back together. Going suddenly from an inseparable soulmate situation to cold-turkey is extremely painful. That's why this song became such a hit, because most of us have experienced that pain before:

I know I felt this pain. The actual trigger for the breakup was nothing compared to the feeling of being actively shut-out before it felt like we had truly found peace. Worst breakup pain ever.

It's really an insensitive and cowardly move to make. It makes the receiving party question whether there was ever any real love there in the first place. I'm not saying exes should stay in constant contact, but wherever possible you want to leave an open channel of communication. It's feeling like both sides at least still trust the other enough that they're granted permission to reach out that matters, not actually using the privilege.

Like it or not, when we split she told me about how she was friends with a lot of her exes, and kept in touch with them frequently. From what I gathered, these were all orbiters, single guys wanting to be "friends." I've never been that guy, even though I am friends with many exes on facebook. Apart from protecting myself from not seeing her in my feed, or having the need to contact, I did not want to become another one of her adoring guy friends.

That, and I tried to get back with her with a hefty declaration, and she shot it down cold. The truth is, given her proclivity to attention, she would pick up the phone or reply to text any time I reached out to her. I wasn't able to see her anymore anywhere in my life. But I can appreciate being on the receiving end of that after being dumped, that has to be painful.

Sounds to me like there's not much left to salvage, I'm afraid.

And her having orbiters and not being ashamed to admit it is a red-flag.

Since taking up PU a couple of years ago I meet alot of younger PUA .I go out to clubs and bars alot. Here young guys have been programmed by the mainstream media and social media etc.On PUA forums they actively seek out MILF cougar haunts. The young guys I work with are the same.My younger brother's mates are the same. And they do it again and again. Its what makes their dick hard. They treat these women like they are 21 not like some kind of easy fuck.To my 46 year old brain it's stupid but to these young dudes they are winning the prize. It's got nothing to do with easy in their minds its skill to them.

On a NYE roof top party this year ,a 20 year old dude brought his mother in like she was a sexual trophey while his mates were trying to fuck her.I saw this at concerts too.Dudes would never have dragged their mothers along like she was some kind of sex kitten in my day .

My mates ranging from 47 to 52 all comment on this shit and they all live in different states than me.
When I was in the army we did this thing called grab a granny.Going in for the easy lay as you describe. This shit now is different, this shit now is a weekly mission and something for these young dudes to brag about .And these young dudes are jacked up fuckers too not pencil neck geeks.

I ain't complaining just observing the game cause the more it goes on the more young chicks notice.

My mate is a jacked up 45 year old Ryan Gosling look a like he had to change his age on Tinder to 37 in order to fuck women his age and older These chicks tell him how they are getting hit up all the time by young 20 odd year old dudes..But they have to change the parameters of Tinder's age settings ...LOL

Vaun -- TornadoByProxy and MDP have some great advice for you and I agree with them, do not contact her.

You and I have talked a bit in PM and recognized we have had some very similar experiences, this is one of them. It's been a year since my last LTR and I still think of her regularly though I no longer have a desire to be with her again, it took months to move on from that even though I've banged a dozen women since then. What I've taken away from these failed relationships is to learn from them, identify the qualities I want in women for future relationships and what to look out for as warning signs.

Feel free to hit me up on PM if you ever need someone to vent to.

I workout very ,very hard. 2 hours in the gym 4-6 times a week and I do not ever miss leg day- which ups my testosterone. The No Fap guys may hate on me but I jerk off around twice a day which keeps me somewhat desensitized-once in the shower in the morning, and again if I have a first date (or if I am bored, I also use pornography quite a lot). If I have sex with a woman I usually only come about 50% of the time due to this. If I know for sure I am going to have sex, then I will not jerk off that day and I can come multiple times during a single sexual encounter. This is why I only sleep with women I find attractive, because if they are ugly I would rather jerk off. When I have jerked off before a date I am less pressured to have sex, and I am a lot smoother with women-When we do have sex I last longer because she is not getting "the first one" so I can pound away for 45 minutes and have no fear of coming unless I really focus on it and concentrate very hard.

Oh, man, this turd floated to the surface again? There was a good discussion about it here a while back. Gavin McInnes went off the rails overestimating the relevance and importance of the theme behind that uber-beta song.

My sense is that your partly still hoping she'll contact you wanting to get back together and that you would. This is giving her the power...and that's whats fucking with you since you already know youre better off split

You were contemplating dumping her (justifiably so) but she dumped you before you could dump her. Being the dumpee rather than the dumpee:

Your first reaction will be "No that's not it...it's not pride"...but I think that it is. Not on the conscious level like "how dare her dump me" pride but at a deeper level...she cared less (first)

You need some type of closure so that you can definitively make her a part of your past.

For me it's always been a bit of a ritual whereby I keep 1 photo of the ex and put it in my "Ex Files" (I wrote about it in the "No Contact" thread ) It's a simple thing but the act once I've made that decision is an effective one.

It's not easy right now but " this too shall pass"

Show a little sympathy. Lots of alphas are reformed betas--including Roosh himself. Experiences straight out of the Gotye song probably drove more people to the manosphere than anything else. That's not an excuse to wallow in that sort of misery, but let's not pretend that breakups shouldn't hurt. ZFG is a learned discipline.

Thanks man, talking about it here is really all I need to do to get it off my chest.

And props to other board members I have bothered with this, over drinks and beers, and over PM already. You know who you are and its been helpful.

You could be right. Its true I would like her to contact me, but I am not delusional, who knows if she will, and I am ok with that. I have already done the purge, but I doubt its pride or ego this time. I almost broke up with her twice due to her behavior in the thread I posted. The closure I think I need now is time. Its happening, but taking longer than I thought. I date some remarkable women now. My life is full, and I have a lot to be grateful, and truthfully, I am very busy, too busy to be still mired in this.

Sure, but there is no reason to keep perpetuating the very behavior you want to prevent in the future. I have to go with Gavin on this one, I really hate that song, and the guy singing it.

Read back in the thread for evidence that you still aren't 100% over this girl, rebound bangs or no rebound bangs. Until you get there, you still have more in common with that song and its whiny singer than you'd like to admit. So at the very least, use your distate for it as a motivator to get over the hump.

I have heard of guys in their 30s dating women in their late 50s and older. To me this totally repulsive, but like you said the programming is all messed up. I don't talk to old bags, but my buddy gets a kick out of them. A few have complained because men don't stick around, no matter how much money they have. Of course they think they deserve a serious relationship.

I know guys who have turned 40 and they cannot even comprehend the idea of dating a twenty something girl.

I always looked at Australia as being like Canada, minus the snow.

I get the sense that Australia might be a even tougher market on a whole (leave Toronto out of the equation).

I spend a fair amount of time in Starbucks, I see loads of young girls that are probably in University studying. As of late, I seem to get way more IOIs from them as well.
I always wondered where are the young guys, to entertain these girls.

This past weekend, this company I work with invited me to their Christmas party at a cougar spot. I declined and scratched my head as to why they would have gone there, since most of they guys that work there are under 30.
