RE: Older Guys (40+)
I enjoy reading this thread and it gives me hope for the future. I turn 40 in April and instead of dreading it, I need to embrace it because...well, it's happening either way.

I made my highest notch count in 2016 at the age of 39, so no reason to believe I'm on the downward slope.

Low cost of labor. Good English in the top 75%.

I've been all over-- Russian, Ukraine, Europe, USA, and Filipinos are overall the nicest people I've met anywhere. Their humility and gentleness really moves me. Almost zero road rage. Disposition wise, they are like the Golden Retrievers of humanity, and supply many of the world's smartest countries with good nurses.

I would agree with your first three points but these factors do not address the weakening peso. The PHP was Southeast Asia worst performing currency in 2016; Bloomberg have just come out and said that it expects the PHP to weaken by 4% this year, so if you are earning PHP and spending PHP I fail to see how this is booming! Of course for the many OFW who are earning dollars this is a great time and it is this that is driving the economy as a whole, like they have done for many many years!

I too have been to all the places you mention and would agree with your assessment of the Filipino. I have met good and bad (predominately good), and like you have alluded too, in terms of driven Filipino's, in my experience having worked here for 11 years, it has to be said that the majority will find employment overseas where they can earn way more and provide a better future for themselves and their families back home.

I turned 40 recently, end of last year. It's really been fucking with my head. Even before at 39 I was dreading it. I need something to get me out of this. I know I look better than the vast majority of men my age. My game has never been great.

I know some girls and guys from there that have lived in Australia for a while, it is funny, well for me as I know better, but sad to see the way these girls act, in bars etc, cant blame them, a few months back there were three ladyboys at a busy bar I go to sometimes, they were getting hit on all night. Many 'actuall' women here to, lots in Melbourne last time I was down strutting around like supermodels,
I do not trust Philapinas in general from what I have experienced so far, and can spot fakes a mile of, but I have not been there yet, I hope they re more like what you say they are.

I don't doubt your judgment of those girls. Ladyboys are not girls and don't factor into my screening and opinions. My reactions--

1) Women who want to regularly go to bars are in my opinion not LTR material, especially in a poor 3rd world country where such activity is generally done with soft prostitution at best in mind, or done by Westernized girls who aspire to Sex and The City lifestyles ( call center girls tend to be on that path.) Markers for this include wearing high heels, garish makeup, ANY tattoos.

2) Even if a girl is basically well-behaved and dislikes bars, I think bringing a 7.5+ Filipina to a First World country if you're not on the level of Trent Reznor of Nine Inch Nails ( married a Filipino and is an A list rock star) is like injecting a psychological Ebola into an otherwise healthy person.
The 60-70% overweight + obesity rate among white chicks has done such a totally toxic thing to the sexual market place that placing even an otherwise psychologically healthy / positive girl in that environment may wreck her agreeableness in months. Her value skyrockets so much I can't comprehend what it must be like.

3) Most guys who bring a girl back meet them in bars, in big cities, there's a negative filtration-- a large minority or perhaps majority of the guys are naive and the girls are parasitic or maybe even predatory. The girls are SEEKING indirectly this skyrocketing value to some degree.

4) If she ditches you in Home Country and you've protected your assets, just come back and get another. There are probably thousands turning 18 every day. The supply will not run out in the next 15 years.

5) You've got to remember a Filipina who really likes you makes it COMPLETELY UNMISTAKEABLE. She will physically be hugging you and trying to cuddle up to you in bed as she sleeps to the point she practically chases you out of your bed. She will actively and without being asked clean up you entire apartment, wash all clothes, cook anything you want if you teach her and be willing to be around 24/7 . I mean all the time, every day, she will love being with you. There is no way to really fake that easily. If she has the diffident casualness of a white woman, she may fuck and regularly meet you, but she may not even like you.

As a hotel owner here said about cleaning girl employees "You've got to get them from the provinces."

Mindinao had bad vibes for me-- muslim prayer room in the airport in CDO-- not actively dangerous, but Filipinas don't grasp how a white guy stands out, but if you meet 8+ chicks in a weeks long trip to Manila or Cebu, it's like meeting good looking chicks from LA or NYC-- their expectations are going to be inflated based on what top models from those cities get.... a little inflated.

I'm more or less targeting 6-7 girls now-- I don't want the constant stunning bills resulting from owning a Ferrari.

"The goal of {amoral} capitalism is to reduce all human interaction to the cash nexus." L. D.

Welcome to the club. Age is just a number, it's all about attitude. With added years your bring wisdom and maturity that a younger man doesn't have yet. Embrace it and use it to your advantage.

RE: Older Guys (40+)
I am 42 years old. I have carefully read this entire thread. It's been so helpful, but I get the sense that I'm not nearly as well off or good with game as most guys who post on this thread.

My biggest challenges:
-I'm about 65 pounds overweight. In fact, I have struggled with weight gain during various periods of my entire life.
-I haven't saved much and in fact am in a fair amount of debt and so my overall networth is pretty much nil. Although, if I keep my current job for another 2.5 years or so, I'll vest into the Calpers pension system, which would give me a nice little retirement boost.
-I recently had a very stressful 17 months of unemployment (hence the weight gain). I've landed a good, but demanding job and am working hard to perform well in it.. this means working a lot of extra hours as it's essentially a sales job.

I used to meet women on match.com. I met my ex wife when I was 31 (we were married for 6 years) and my ex girlfriend when I was 38 (we ended up living together for 3 years) on match.com. It used to be very easy for me to meet smart, attractive women on there. Now I'm 42, have gained weight, and I'm not getting anywhere near the results that I used to get.

I'm trying to learn cold approach pickup, but it is not easy. I've gotten some IOIs from much younger women, and even got a few numbers, but I haven't gotten any further than that with it yet. Honestly, as I balance the demands of my new job, working out / weight loss, and learning daygame, I think it will take me a good year or two to get good with daygame.

I'm getting very frustrated with Western life.. the growing demands of modern employment, the growing demands of hypergamic women..

I will not live with another western woman again.. it's just not worth it. The pressures of modern work are stressful enough..

It's going to take me 18-23 years to get to SEA and I want to figure out a way to enjoy my Western life before then. I figure learning game will pay off well for a 60-something guy in SEA (if he wants to go really young there)..

But here in the US everything feels so damned effortful. I've let my body go with this recent weight gain and it's going to take at least a year for me to lose the weight.. I also think about busting my ass in this job for 18-23 years and it feels so damned daunting.. And then all the rejection and mistakes you have to go through to learn game and get good at it.. it takes a lot of time, work, and energy..

Since I broke up with my ex girlfriend four months ago, I've felt liberated, but if I'm honest with myself, I also feel lonely and overwhelmed..

I think if you're not in great physical shape and don't have excellent daygame skills, being 40+ can be very tough for a single guy in the western world.. you really have no choice but to commit to being in shape and learn daygame.. and that's not going to happen overnight for me..

Are you really planning on being happy in "18-23 years"? Bracing yourself for twenty years of misery before a hypothetical happiness, to be found (or not) abroad?Confused

Well, you should find a way to earn money faster (and legally), at all costs, and jump on a plane within a couple of years... Because 20 years from now, in what shape will you be, plus, how many "poosy paradises" do you think will exist in 20 years? Certainly not Thailand, which already is, say, 75% done (unless you speak the language)... I mean, where will you have to travel to, in 20 years, to find age-difference-accepting countries? RDC, Haiti, and that's about it.

(I said, 75% done, not fully done. Also, I probably should've said, Bangkok instead of Thailand)

Anyway: Go to Bangkok as a 38 or 40 years old (non millionaire) dude, not speaking the local language. Get on Tinder, or go to famous clubs, as much as you want. See the quality you'll pull. Compare with Manila. Then you'll understand.

_Dumb_Genius_ I'm hearing nothing but excuses from you man! I'm recently out of a divorce. I'm overweight as well and have some significant weight to lose. Guess what, my notch count last year was well into the double digits. I regularly hang out with 23-25 year old girls. You know what I consistently hear from them as to why they like me? My attitude. They say I'm confident and know what I want.
It's all about the attitude and mind set man. Ya, we both need to lose some weight, but you also need some work on your frame of mind right now!

Turnus, your success is inspiring. Are you doing daygame? If so, where (what type of venues) and with what type of approach? I get your points about attitude and confidence, but I'm curious as to what type of tactics have been successful for you as an older guy..

Dumb genius,
There is no magic formula. You walk up to a girl and start talking. At our age, it should be very natural.
It seems you are still thinking like a 20yo. When you get over 40, you have many more ways to approach young women. There are no lines. There are no routines. You just start talking to them.

Yes, at our age you should have learned a thing or two. I am a believer that physical presence and the way in which you communicate is more important than the content of the communication.

The physical part is the easiest. You don't need to be a gym rat (but it can help), you just need to put the fork down. I've done it before. I lost eleven pounds in ten days. Granted, it was in a military survival school situation, and you don't need to go to that extreme, but the point is quit ingesting crap food and quit eating too much of whatever it is you eat.

Judging from your posts and overall level of confidence, the social/mental part i where I suspect you will have the most difficulty. Sure, day game is fine and dandy, but as we get older (I'm pushing 50), sooner or later the best day gaming old guy is nothing more than a sweet old man the young attractive women don't find creepy. Absent some kind of status, it won't get you where you want to go.

So yes, absolutely work on your day game, but remember on its own not as powerful a tool as it would have been when you were young. You need to be more social, generally - clubs (not night clubs), hobbies, interests, community groups, unusual skill sets, etc. Whatever it is, you will need to cultivate this habit wherever you live. If you're thinking of uprooting to Asia, the sooner you start, the sooner you can begin to set those roots in your new neighborhood (and someplace other than a bar, of course).

It's not like I have a secret formula. It's a combination of everything. I have a confident attitude. I'm double the age of these lizards and when I'm with them they know they are going to have fun with me and that I'm a stable, successful older guy. I've met girls online (Tinder, OKC, POF, SA, CMB, et), I met them at bars, strip clubs, restaurants. I've met them through their friends. I just have been trying to be social and have an outcome independent, abundant mindset.

Make sure your gym is near your house so you do not have an excuse not to go. Go to places younger girls hang out and develop your social circle, be cool and understanding to people (never mention your divorce, or any problems-stay upbeat) and you will be getting invited to things by your social circle, when you go out avoid mixed drinks (good for the wallet) order a soda and tip the bartender, buy a motorcycle(not expensive, ups your sexy factor if it is a rice burner, and gives you thrills). Google top 100 songs 2017 and try to find a couple you like.

In regards to the gym and losing weight-watch what you eat and go to the gym 5 times a week 1 1/2 hours a time. The StairMaster is where you must go for the 1/2 hour every time except leg day, lift heavy iron for the 1 hour. In six months you will be leaner and the fat will be gone and your endurance will be through the roof-your face will also look leaner. If you need any tips for weight loss after 40 just ask. I went a year with no exercise at 39 while getting ready for a major test and put on 20 pounds of fat -I dropped that fat off my ass in 4 months and never looked back!

Just revisited the thread, after a long while.
Had an awesome 2016, one of my life's best in notch counts.
2017 starts with a solid harem, I plan to write an article for ROK on harem management.

One thing though, I haven't been putting out time and effort into pipelining. Should get back to it.

RE: Older Guys (40+)
There's one thing I wanted to add about being over 40. Hopefully this won't be seen as off-topic but I didn't want to start a whole new thread on it.

I know most here are pursuing much younger women for whom being 40+ is a liability, but my recent dating experience has been women close to my own age. And what they are telling me is that men in their 40s and above were in most cases never good in bed or went completely impotent, started relying on Viagra, etc...

If we look at the dating marketplace by demographic and compare the relative market value of 40 somethings, a man who can still reliably get it up AND knows how to reliably get off a woman is at a serious advantage over other 40 somethings.

Since I only date women and not men, I had no idea how weak other men have been compared to me, so this has increased my low sense of self-worth quite a bit. Now it probably stands to reason that the women I've been dating are so low SMV that these were the only kinds of men they could snag. That may be the case, but I don't think that's true. I think across the board there is a pyramid and that there are only a smallish percentage of guys at the top who really know how to please a woman in bed.

So the chart that talks about how men's SMV increasing in their 30s also should factor in the statistical probability of biological attrition from the 40s onward. For women who are specifically looking for men in their 40s, someone who is still fully functional and adept in the sack is going to be able to trounce his competition simply due to the law of supply and demand.

This is, of course, purely anecdotal experience, but all those viagra ads you see on TV are there for a reason.

Would love to hear whether you guys agree or disagree on this.

I'm no doctor, and I'm sure there are extreme cases, but generally there's no such thing as erectile dysfunction, only erectile discrimination.

That is, if those 40-something women complaining about guys needing viagra in their 40s were all that much to look at themselves, I bet their men wouldn't have too much trouble sporting the wood.

Going strong, you clearly have a lot of experience abroad and your opinion is greatly valued. I get your point about ideally expediting the process, but it's hard to imagine that the Philippines won't be substantially better than the US for an American guy in 60s twenty years from now.

Would love to hear whether you guys agree or disagree on this.

It's more than that. Having and applying red pill knowhow on women makes you more attractive. Even if they don't cum, they are still satisfied.
I am able repeatedly to make the girls I'm with climax. They always tell me how different I am from other guys and how they feel both aroused and secure. Sometimes they don't (usually new girls).

I have good friend who is beta as hell. I coach him, but he rejects my advice even though he has seen me pull girls numbers and spin plates for 2 years now.
Most people don't want to put in the effort, or change their mind (Rollo calls it "ego-invest").

And I rate my game as intermediate.

Beater car, cheap apartment, save as much as you can into conservative DIVIDEND GROWTH stocks like nursing homes (OHI), Proctor and Gamble ( I found their detergent in every tiny grocery store in Philippines, McDs was always busy there) tobacco companies if you can stand the guilt, maybe rental apartments.....Forget the doomsayers and never sell unless the company cuts the dividend.

They let you retire at 65 because most people really are out of vitality at that point.

Don't wait until then. You can live OK in SE Asia for maybe $1200/mo if you give up some luxury. What is a more important luxury than slim 19 year old girls who will cook and clean for you?

Look at Johnson and Johnson's dividend growth for 53 years. People say "Oh the dollar will collapse ...Muslim wars... blah blah blah". But can they show any accomplishment that makes you think they are smarter than the collective intelligence of JNJ?

The chart below isn't opinion--it's real money that got distributed.

It's very important when you're young and impressionable to differentiate between
--what book-selling doomsayers say "must happen" (unless someone buys their book or gold etc.)
-- What has happened, and IS actually happening in the real world.

"Game" is extended foreplay.

I agree that you want to stand out from the crowd to the point where women say you're different from all the other guys. That's one aspect that PUA is sort of weak on because applying stereotypical alpha male game leads to a bunch of guys doing things in a formulaic way (push-pull, negging, etc...). Even if women really like it and respond almost subconsciously, at some level they'll eventually sense how repetitive it is. They're something to be said for unpredictability.

I think it would benefit guys to develop their own secret sauce, so to speak, in order to differentiate them from the other players out there.

In my case, as a geeky beta, I'm very analytical, and it's best for me to leverage this than to try to internalize traditional alpha male behaviors. So my approach is a variation on Mark Manson's honesty-game. I'd call Morpheus game, where I make it clear from the start that I know everything there is to know about the way both men and women play games and I am above the fray.

There's a precedence for this.

I think When Harry Met Sally was all about Morpheus game. It's when you talk about gender in the third person as a form of indirect flirtation. It's just that Billy Crystal's character wasn't conscious that he was gaming. So that scene in the car where Crystal is saying all guys want to bang their friends who are women, what he's really saying is he is always visualizing himself plastering Meg Ryan with cum. It's being really sexually provocative via disassociation (speaking in the third person). You also hide behind the plausible deniability of "Woe is me, isn't it terrible humans are saddled with this wiring...". So you still come out looking like a White Knight rather than a "creep", but a White Knight that she knows is just waiting to jump her if given half a chance.

I think intelligent men and women resent games and yet they go through the motions because they feel that's just how it has to be. So you can bond with women by saying "Look, we can live outside the Matrix!" The paradox is that all gaming is still gaming, even self-reflexive meta-gaming, because it's a matter of starting from the foundation of a guy being attracted enough to a woman to want to move the relationship towards sex. But that advanced level of metaphysics is something that few women are going to reach.
