When I first started (first 6 months) I just walked. Now I walk and use the Scooby Intermediate/now advance workout. My diet is simple -- no soda, candy, fast food. I eat mostly fish/chicken, lots of veggies. Red meat--once/twice a month. I cheat with a pizza or something delicious once a month. Just weighed myself yesterday --191, I was 317 (peak fatness) over a year ago. I had a couple of lulls in my weight loss but when I added Scooby's weight training--I started losing weight again.

Updates on my spring reboot

Weight/Waist - Around 185, but my waist has dropped to 35", from 38" in early April, so I have lost 3" so far on my waist. I am lifting 5-6x p week, with 2-3 short metcon's per week after my lifts. I must be gaining muscle. My goal is a 34" waist, and I should hit that easily now, ultimate goal is 15% BF. Sitting here typing this I am looking down at my gut, its still there and its literally where all of the fat on my body is. Losing it and seeing my abs will be the best gift I can give myself.

I am up to 14 unbroken pull ups, I started at 3.. Squat and Deadlift are going up, but I am training Westside style and only working accessory mostly, GHD's, Good Mornings, etc. I want to make my hammies and glutes super strong, then I will test with maxes in June. I am guessing a 365-85 squat and 405 DL, which is my average.

I am averaging around 1800 cal/day. I shoot for 165g of protein, 100g of carb and 50g of fat. I do 16:8 IF, which has been really easy to do. Keeping carbs and fat low is the tough thing. I measure everything everyday through MyFitnessPal. Debating on going back to CrossFit to compete in the masters class, or go into BJJ at Gracie, after I get through this phase.

Budget: good, reading "Your Money or Your Life". Doing all of the steps there. I dont go out or date now. Have an FB that wants to come over, and another Russian girl I was dating. But I dont really care about either of them. I just watched "Becoming Warren Buffet" on HBO, highly recommend for anyone interested in the oracle or personal finance.

Approaching: Made an approach the other day, turned into a little insta-date and we are meeting up this weekend again. Very attractive girl from Europe that just moved here. That makes 700 total approaches since 2014. My approach was great, it felt like old times. Want to do that again..

I got a new job in January that is the best money I've ever made. But, it is full time travel. Unfortunately, all the traveling and eating out and caught up with me. Last year I lost about 40 pounds and in the almost 5 months of doing this job, I've gained back 50. Fml.

My issues is not only diet, but being able to exercise. I've figured out a way to get my diet under control now and I'm using myfitnesspal to track my eating. What I need is a workout routine that is effective in a hotel room. There is so much information out there that I am kind of paralyzed by over analysis. I am just looking for a repeatable, fairly simple exercise regime that is travel friendly (M-F, I'm home every weekend) that will allow me to lose this fat again and build muscle.

AB gave me a great workout routine, but sadly I lost it during the private message purge last year (Sorry AB).

Can anyone please help me?

Thanks.

As a frequent flyer surrounded by food, booze and what not, its all about your personal habits, every single day. You have to get into a routine that is unshakable. To me it comes down to personal daily discipline. Habits and the gut strength to do those habits everyday.

In your case, which is similar to mine, I would start solely with your diet. Before any workout regimen. The first thing you should do is download the myfitnesspal app and start recording everything you eat. Every thing you put into your mouth, every day. Do that for a few weeks, and evaluate your eating. Once you see how bad your diet is, follow this eating plan for a while, say, 8 weeks.

Wake up at the same time everyday, say 6am, then go for a 30 minute walk. Pick one or two habits to build for eight weeks; your diet and waking up at the same time.

An exercise routine wont take the excess weight away. Your issue is eating. You need to understand then control your diet first, before exercise will build your physique.

Poor sleeping habits can affect weight as well. With all the traveling you do, it might be difficult to find time to get enough proper sleep.

I know when I travelled for work, it was difficult for me to sleep sometimes in a new city and with the stress of the following day on my mind.
Truth Tiger 路 2017-05-11 10:24:00 路 #2007
When you travel you want to make sure you get some earthing once you're in a new city. I bring a grounding cord and wrist strap with me when I travel for pleasure or business. There is actual science behind this and I've verified it works (I have a physics background). You can go to earthing.com to buy the grounding strap and cord, easy to use and especially if you are not sleeping at ground level, it's essential. It might not be the handiest item to haul around but the Lizard of Oz has an awesome thread on light box therapy which really helps promote proper circadian rhythms. It works amazingly well and yes proper sleep is crucial.

You can look up body weight exercises, Pilates, core stabilization work and get a good sweat going without needing equipment.

Years ago, I followed that program and saved a huge percentage of my income. Ultimately, though, I found it limiting, as it was keeping me from the more important goal of earning more. But I do keep it in mind when I hear people say that they can't possibly save on their current salary/income.

Assuming your diet is in check, this is super simple.

1) Commit to "Break a Sweat Every Day"
2) Run the Hotel Stairs - - No excuses, this is always available and likely more effective than the hotel "fitness room."
3) Learn Bodyweight Training. Start here; learn more here and here.

Hey Kaii,

Congrats on the job man... Feels good whenever you move up.

Probably not as good as what AB sent ya, but here are a couple
that I think are decent, and certainly doable in a hotel room.

First One

Second One

The college girls have come out to play.

Set up dates or met with girls 20, 20, 20, 22 and I can't remember the 5th one but no older than 23 max. And a repeat from last year who just turned 20.
Travesty 路 2017-05-14 14:38:00 路 #2013
^ What's your story when you talk to these girls?

The common one I ask older guys day gaming college girls (any guy 25+):

- Do you lie that you are a grad student or taking some sort of classes?
- Do you lie about your age?
- Do you go strictly direct ever?
- Do you try to dress younger & more athletic (i.e. no suit, slacks, button up or dress shoes), wear a backpack, laptop bag etc... to look more grad student-like?

And your rep was the first. I can't remember what my first night of drunken posting consisted of, but I think it had to do with taints and hairy nipples.

As of this morning I had 24 rep points. Someone withdrew one. I have every suspicion that it has to do with the Trump thread. It's always the Trump thread.

Although I've managed a couple of dates with young hotties here in Leipzig since the beginning of April, I'm still struggling to get dates with women in the 18-27 age range. Aside from the problem of girls with boyfriends/husbands, I've had a total of 5 girls now tell me that the age difference would be too great, even though the subcommunication after I've opened them had been very good and they'd really responded well to being opened directly by me. At least one of them said she would have dated me had I been younger, but the age difference (I'm 42) was just too big for her.

In fact, one of the features of German society that struck me when I first came here was how unusual it is to spot couples with a big age difference. And if you do spot a couple who differ significantly in age, it's nearly always because the guy has gone foreign and got himself a younger, normally Asian, girlfriend/wife.

Are there any guys on here who manage to bang German women who are 15 or more years younger than they are from running daygame?

I would check your style. Maybe go to a big department store and have a personal shopper evaluate your look, and make new suggestions for clothing to wear. Unless you are sporting a giant grey beard, you should easily blend in with 30 year olds. Reevaluate your look with second and third opinions.

Posting my progress again here. I could start my own thread but I am about to drop off soon so no point. Hope anything I have shared can help other older guys, why I post my progress here.

Since early April I have lost three inches off my belly; 38" - 35", gotten half way through my workout plan(link NSFW), dropped around 10-15lbs depending on the day. Progress is good in all areas. My next goal is 34". At a 34" waist, I should be near 14% BF. If I can get to 34" by Memorial Day, I will go for 32" by the end of June. That will be the leanest I have ever been since 2005. I will likely be around 12% BF or less.

I injured my bicep today. I have been averaging 40-60 pullups per workout, 5-6 days per week. I started doing exaggerated chins(link NSFW) last Friday. Going for that V-Taper. The layback chins blow up your lats and biceps. I think this is why my bicep is jacked today. Came home, icing it, watching some TV and cooking.

I just started doing dips like this, to accentuate chest development, the hand grip is weird. Got this from Irongarm.

Between the lay back chins and this new dip style, I think its why my bicep blew up. I have a recovery plan and will have to readjust my training, but I can focus on my diet and do more squats.

^^careful with that bicep strain, give it time and let it heal completely- I got a bicep strain at 40 and did not let it heal and give it the proper time, it extended the healing time significantly. Ice, rest, and don't use it for a while, we are not in our 20's anymore.

I was bummed because I was making good progress. Problem is its activated in pretty much anything. So for now I will be focusing on squatting and pushing exercises, shoulder presses, etc. Will see how it feels on the bench. Taking a total break on it for the next 72 hours to let it settle down, then I will start a rehab program for it. I am icing now.

I am on the road every week. I fast on travel days since there really isn't much good food at airports. I have gotten leaner and I've kept the weight off.

I don't know about German girls in particular, but I am 50+, my #1 is 26, 100% of my pipeline is 18 - 32, and my lifetime oldest is 37 and not rising (yet). Here's my advice, all of which I learned first hand in the last year and on this board.

1) Forget about "dating." Extremely rare (and not desirable) for a 20 yo girl to handle the social trauma inherent in publicly dating a man twice her age.

2) Be the quality dick. Give her the sexual adventure girls crave at this age. Help her explore sexually, develop her sexuality, and have mo better orgasms. Sexually escalate every time you fuck.

3) Demand that she fucks you like you're her last every single time. Set that standard.

4) Let her have her bitch ass beta Beard Boi for show and emotional support. Don't be jealous. Encourage this. You don't want that role anyway, it gives her cover and a wedding date, and provides a point of comparison for your bedroom prowess.
