Debating getting a newspaper boy flat wool cap for winter, I have a big head so I struggle to find the right cap.

Im early 40s and after two decades of living (wasting) my life solely around chasing pussy, im now just getting warmed up to what life really has to offer, in my 50s I hope to be really pushing it so far as what I want to do. I've made it a focus this summer/fall to eat smaller portions, and drink slightly less than I used to.

Down 10 lbs. Same food for the most part. More apples.

Hottest chick at work noticed and directly asked me about it. Feels great!

I also sleep as much as I possibly can, barring late nights out of course.

Drinking less, and switching to straight whiskey instead of craft beers has made a noticeable change in body fat. I've not lost weight due to lifting harder and putting on some muscle. Getting enough sleep is one of my biggest challenges, and I know it affects both how I look and feel. Sleep is an area I'm actively working on improving.

Honestly, I don't know how any guy over 35 can still drink beer and look good. I mean, of course you can have one [of anything] once in a while, but damn it's heavy. Gimme the gin every time.

RWS, when I'm not getting enough sleep, I find myself overeating. Probably both due to stress my more sleep ends the cycle. Has to be good sleep though, not toss and turn after 8 drinks sleep!

Yes, if I stay up past 10 I often get cravings to eat something whether I'm hungry or not. It's tough getting to bed that early though, seems there's always something else I want to be doing, whether it's a girl or catching up with my out-of-state friends on Xbox or working on a project. If I go to bed with a book I can usually fall right asleep, just have to develop those habits.

Definitely, I'm a night owl so it's really hard for me. That's where the apples came in. I'll have half or all of a small apple around 10 if I'm really hungry. Gets me through the night. The worst is going to be hungry and then waking up early! Can't have that in my life anymore.

As a novice in this forum I'd welcome advice for us older guys (I'm 51) regarding game prospects after the inevitable deterioration of sexual ability sets in. Hats off to you Thrustmaster. I think it is location and context - that is key to pursuing women of any age bracket, but with Tinder you'd go straight to the essentials, and I assume that it is mostly focused on pure appearance , right?

Some types of alcohol go straight to my belly as belly fat.. Other types of alcohol are not as fattening..

Which leads me to a bit of bad news...

I unnecessarily and prematurely caused myself to physically age! (mostly in the face, lines, wrinkles, etc.)

This was caused my stress, worry, anxiety, and toxic emotions related to a girl and work/financial stress..

Learn form my mistake and openly deal with any unresolved emotional conflict in your life!

It sometimes doesn't appear until our 40s! Be aware!

I do think that I will be able to rejuvenate some of the negative effects with a renewed self improvement/forgiveness regimen and diligent commitment to vitality and energy. (sleep, food, health, etc.)

Belly fat is the hardest to remove!

Impossible without major lifestyle (dietary) changes..

It's almost not worth it for most guys to even try.. They would have to break up so many hard wired life style patterns that the results (flat stomach) may not even be worth the work (total dietary overhaul)..

In order to be over 40 and still have close to a 6 pack.. You practically have to:

A) Have a weird obsession/compulsion with it (me)
B) Be rich and have the time and money to only eat top quality foods and have high quality fitness coaching + social pressure to be fit
C) Be in the fitness industry
D) Be so old fashioned that your lifestyle, diet, and movement patterns allow for a toned stomach.

It can be difficult. (unless you have superior genetics)

But, I'm committed to feeling good, looking good, and dating younger for as long as I can!

It doesn't get easier so we have to find ways to fine tune and be better!

In my opinion, the last 2 meals of the day are the most important in terms of keeping a toned stomach..

1) I scramble or fry 2 or 3 eggs



2) I add brown rice or a mixture of 50% brown rice/50% quinoa over the eggs..



3) I saute broccoli and add that to the plate



4) A dash of soy sauce

It might look something like this: (with avocado)



Add whatever sauteed veggies you want + hot sauce..

This dinner helps me keep my stomach flat.

For dessert, I might have a handful of berries and a protein shake.

Lots of things to comment on here. The belly fat issue for me was solved by drinking less and just eating meat and raw vegetables (e.g., forcing carrots, celery and uncooked spinach down my throat), maybe some pita, tortillas or vegetarian wraps or brown rice. Cut out sugar. All my pants fall down now and I my belt isn't tight enough.
Came back after a few boozy nights, delayed reaction, a week later get that stomach again bulging a bit.
I've worked recently with several younger women (21-25), and they are nice, but they always treat me as the kindly avuncular character or kooky daddy, older brother ..even though they like to tease and give IOI's. Every younger women I look at sees my thirst immediately and loves to play a game...timid vibe gets played with. More direct is better and more joking manner, let us call it elderly direct..

I chatted up a PYT today who sent me the right signals at a coffee shop. It's been awhile for me as I haven't had the chance to game in a few months. Work, company, career, the usual. I quickly found out she worked at a university and was in pursuit of some kind of advanced liberal arts degree. In five minutes I learned she wanted to work with Te geys. She then began to spout all kinds of postmodernist bulldada. I'm talking to a woman who actually used terms such as "hetronormality" and "eurocentric" in a conversation with someone she never met. It did make me think, is this the normal way people talk in a university these days?
