I turn 40 in 3 weeks!

Tinder and SA mostly. The 19 yo was SA. On dating sites like that I make my age about 10 younger. On Tinder, I make myself 27 to 28 y/o, which is kind of ridiculous when you think about it as I'm in my mid 40s . On tinder girls are super age conscious and that age range is about their upper limit. You're totally off their radar above 28 if you're focusing on younger women.

As long as you're in shape and have a full head of hair with no gray, a young woman's hamster can't process that you may be pushing 40 or in your 40s.

I got a good number of dates this year from day game too, mostly girls in their mid to late 20s, however, no bangs. I was disappointed with this and will work on my first date game with girls who are a little more mature and who I meet during day game. Frankly, it seems to be one of my weak spots.

I'd say if your first date and date game in general is tight, day gaming at places like whole foods ( 6p.m. to 7 p.m. seem to be prime ) and bookstores
is one way to cast a wider net for potential bangs. I've gotten to the point, during day game, where by the end of the approach/interaction, I can tell if the girl will respond to my texts and probably go on a date with me. The girls I've banged from tinder tend to be 25 and up. SA is the best for me for young women 19 to 23 as the connotation of an older (high value) man hooking up with a 'sugar baby' is already built into anyone using that site.

Tinder Plus costs more for people over 30 (or at least used to), so in theory you could say that you tried to avoid the higher cost by lowering your age under 30... But I'm not so sure if that's a good idea or not, but it is one excuse.

I'm three years away from 40 but going to sneak in here for this. Those of you that are balding have you considered the high end hair systems (toupee's) to trim a decade or more off or even just for a different look? It seems like you can get a pretty undetectable one for a few hundred bucks.

Shave it. Easy, cheap, masculine look. No need to worry about grey hairs either.
Like most style choices probably works best if you're fit - but hell, even short, pudgy Charlie Runkle in Californication managed to pull off the clean shaven look pretty well. You don't really need to look like Jason Statham to make a buzz cut or shaved head work for you.

I find that I now look a bit younger using a proper electric shaver for head and face instead of a trimmer at 1-2 mm as I have mostly been doing for the last almost 20 years (started shaving my head a few years before I actually began to slowly lose my hair).
Although I'm still usually too lazy to shave more than two or three times per week.

I experimented with hair pieces (from Toplace) almost 10 years ago for a while. They kind of worked, but it was a huge hassle to use them and make them look natural, especially since I only had a partial (frontal) hair piece. Of course you can go to a professional and make him do most of the hard work for you. If you have the $$$. Or €€€.

But it's not too expensive to experiment with them, if you order them from affortable places and do all the maintenance yourself. Time-consuming and frustrating maybe, but expensive not...

I don't agree about lying about your age. It shows you have a lack of confidence. It can also lead to non-congruence which they will spot a mile off even if they can't put their finger on it.

Younger girls who like older guys don't care at ALL, and you can always list your age as 39. As others [incl me] have found 30 is the same as ~40 to them. They just want you to be over 25-27 and have a job where you can buy them something non-pizza non-Mickey Ds.

Frankly, from talking to college girls the guys who do the worst online are the younger guys. I've flat out told girls they were exactly half my age and it didn't stop them from stripping down and kneeling down in front of me.

I see no problem with guys subtracting 5-10 years. Some girls just have a strict rule not to sleep with guys much older without giving it much thought. We do apply white lies every step of the way to enhance ourselves in front of the others.

What if, with a male age for a female is like for male to learn a female has been in a gangbang without anyone wearing protection and her notch count is > 50? Besides, formal age correlates only with biological, emotional, and intellectual age, it's not an adequate metric of who a person is. We've met people in their twenties who were mature and in their forties who were nuts.

Actually, I think there's too much focus on the equation age = who you are. As a consequence, it becomes a default, lazy prism through which we judge other people, instead of trying to see them as they really are throughout the day interacting with us and others on a regular basis.

Nice to see this site with some input from those of us who are a longer in the tooth. I am over 50 myself and I date only those who are 29 and younger (well 98% of the time). The 23-26 range really keeps my engines roaring especially since they have minimum drag. I have found that having status (reputation, power, money) is primary as well as a more youthful look, particularly a more flattened stomach. Ripped abs are possible gentlemen with a good diet and solid exercise, body fat is the issue. As always genetics help, and what they now call solid game is icing on the cake.

Having women seems so much easier to me now than it has been in the last 30 years, I hope that is encouraging. Of course it is different. Women seem to be much weaker now on an internal level, probably due to social decay and a general lack of character. This begs the question of the worthiness of these women to be with any man; much less a man of accomplishment, but you can be the judge of that.

I have touched all seven continents; to include over 150 countries, and have planted my flag is a fair percentage of those counties. My suggestion for the younger guys reading this is to look toward South America, Central America, and South East Asia. Actually, that would still be my suggestion for others as well. If anyone is interested just ask. I have homes on 3 continents and I sail and fly between them.

It is personally very difficult for me to run anything other than ´ I do not give a crap´ game for the females in the US and Canada because they are not worthy of my time unless they are involved in an activity that I am already doing. Some Southern European game can be fun (particularly in Spain and Italy), as well as Eastern European game (particularly in Romania and Ukraine). I find that the beauties of various islands around the world (whether it be the Caribbean, North Pacific, South Pacific or Indian Ocean, the Mediterranean is interesting) to be good fishing prospects as they do not carry as much modern baggage and they seem to handle their baggage in a way that encourages me to allow them to spent more time in my company. My two cents, for what it is worth.
