A while back there was another dick size thread with a link to a study on average penis size but I can't find it now. Maybe it was in comments on ROK.
Anyway, that article had me thinking. 7 inches wasn't too bad.

Sigh ... I have mixed feelings about all this but here it goes. You are likely referring to a study that I linked to in this post.. Since then I have become sufficiently technologically advanced to post actual images.

I said at the time and will reiterate here that the main take aways should be that 1. the average length is much smaller than porn or anonymous on-line polls would suggest and 2. the vast majority of us are within a relatively narrow range of variation, in other words for most of us chicks probably can't tell the difference anyway so it's not worth worrying about.

Also keep in mind that the length was measured not from the skin but pressed to the bone along the dorsal surface (i.e. the front side you see when looking down).

It's hard to say what the difference in response is because it took 3 years to put on an inch and a half with a semi-consistent routine. I grew two inches taller some time in my early 20's, long after I'd stopped measuring how tall I was. I didn't find out until I was 40 that I was 6' 2", not 6' 0". A nurse was giving me a physical for life insurance that I got through a new job, and when she said 6'2", I said, "That's not right!".

Looking back, I believe it happened when I was 23. I remember there were some guys I worked with, who I thought were pretty tall, then later I thought, "You know, those guys aren't that tall. I wonder why I thought they were?".

Well, the group responding is self selected. It's more likely that guys who are above average will respond. But it's clear the poll data here is garbage. I think there's an awful lot of lying, to one degree or another, intentional or not, polluting the data set beyond the self selecting nature of the respondents.

It's easy to miss changes as they happen slowly. I went up 2 1/2 shoe sizes sometime during my mid-30's. The Podiatrist just shrugged and said "It's not uncommon."
