Stop and frisk is cancer. Those who say it "worked" in NY ignore the decade plus trend of violent crime falling *nationwide*. Advocating SaF is one of the few things Trump could do to guarentee that I do not vote for him.

Michigan Man Mows 58,000 Square-Foot ‘TRUMP’ Sign into Lawn

http://www.breitbart.com/big-government/...sign-lawn/

[Image: aerial-Trump-mowed-in-grass-YouTube-640x480.jpg]

Wally Maslowsky, 69, of Almont mowed a 58,000 square-foot version of Trump’s last name into his ten-acre yard, M Live reported.

“If you were to draw lines around it in a box it would be 176-feet tall and 330-feet long end-to-end,” Maslowsky said to M Liveadding:

I didn’t know what size I was going to do it. I went online and printed off a Trump sign trying to duplicate the kind of lettering he uses. I took quarter inch graph paper and laid it on top of it and started measuring one foot per square and that’s what it ended up being.

Maslowsky’s project took five hours to complete. He started Thursday, September 22, and finished the following day.

“I laid it out, kind of like you would if you were building a basement for a house,” Maslowsky said. “I put some markers on the grass with paint and then I just started connecting the dots.”

Maslowsky used to work for General Motors as a designer and has been retired for ten years.

He wanted to put his skills to the test as a retiree and made the sign for no specific reason other than just showing his support in a fun way.

“I didn’t do it for publicity,” he said. “I did it for fun and it’s turned out a little more public that I thought it would be.”

Maslowsky’s daughter took a picture of the display, using a camera attached to the tractor, and shared the photo. His son used an aerial drone to take video of the sign and shared it with local media.

This is not the first time he used his lawn mower to create designs in his yard. Maslowsky created a baseball diamond on his property for his grandchildren last year.

It's the soft-aggression of hamsterism.

~ Oh I was a whore in the past, but what difference does it make now?

~ Oh I let a bunch of my people get killed in Libya, but what difference does it make now?

No illusion, the pattern is real.

As Samseau suggested, I would support a five year stop-and-frisk mandate in America's most crime-ridden cities, like Chicago.

People are more upset about the mention of stop and frisk than the lawlessness and murder of people, gangsters and bystanders alike.

They shouldn't stop and frisk by profiling, that doesn't work. What does work is surveillance, observing, kicking the door down, shooting them dead or putting them away for upwards of 15+ years.

Build prisons, fill them up with those who deserve it. Stop allowing criminals the rule of the city. Hell the reason NYC was cleaned up was through abortions of shit for brains single mothers and crminal class fucking like rabbits producing one shit head after another.

You cannot commit a crime if you do not exist.

Here's the ghost writer who did Art of the Deal

"Lying is second nature to him,” Schwartz said. “More than anyone else I have ever met, Trump has the ability to convince himself that whatever he is saying at any given moment is true, or sort of true, or at least ought to be true."

He's a sales type, if you've known many salesmen you'll recognize the truth shaping.

Sales-type? He's built a huge business. ANYONE building such a large business (even starting with a large family loan) would have a LOT of sales experience and characteristics. There are many salesmen, some that are very good at what they do and eek the best they can out of a deal and then there's those that bait-switch. He doesn't strike me as the latter. The former is no great concern, I WANT a strong salesman/negotiator leading our country.

I take it with a boulder of salt that the guy who ghost-wrote his book claims that lying is second nature to Trump. We espouse strong self-belief on this forum as a positive reinforcement method to get much further ahead than most people would think, to take steps towards large accomplishments. Why are we suddenly claiming that a overwhelming belief in yourself and that the status quo is not good enough mindset is a negative one?

The ghost-writer loses a LOT of credibility with asinine statements like this which would be great as a humorous tongue-in-cheek statement but obviously are not to the guy. He really believes that Trump meant this literally, in that whoever actually put the pen to paper and helped make the concepts and ideas more readable and relatable to the end consumer is the person who should get all the credit for a book. The guy is obviously immensely talented in that he was brought in and paid handsomely for his ghost-writing, but that doesn't mean he came up with most or even ANY of the knowledge/strategy that Trump laid out for the book.

You know, the ENTIRE BASIS for the book being written, that is thrown out once you get a ghost-writer, if you believe this guy. I'm happy to give him credit for obviously doing a great job condensing Trump's wisdom into a readable format, but to give him essentially the entire credit for writing the book is totally disingenuous, so his arguments fall flat, like the useful idiot intellectual that he exposed himself as.

I'm well open to solidly backed negatives about Trump amongst the vastly Pro-Trump opinions here, but only those solidly backed. Not something starting on the premise that the ghost-writer is the one who should get the majority of the credit for a book. That's asinine.

So, according to "liberals", D. Trump occasionally embellishes the truth and one should therefore vote for a candidate who don't lie: Hillary! "My Parkinson is pneumonia which is dehydration which is allergy" Hillary...

"Hillary don't lie, let's vote her in"
Laugh2

Anyway, Hillary, how would you describe her relations with truth, over the past 40 years? Somewhat murky, don't you reckon? Like, has she ever told the truth in her political or even lawyer career?

He's just an old liberal. I don't mind what he says. At least he doesn't sound like a shill.

Normally I would never vote for a billionaire for president myself. At this point, we don't have a choice. Someone with some semblance of business sense needs to fix this economy and this country.

If an middle/upper class half African, who never grew up like most black men here has, sold us up the river, and he was the poorest candidate turn president we have had in ages, why the fuck not try a billionaire like Trump. We are talking about Trump here. Not Zuck. Not even Buffett. Buffett may be honest enough to discuss the problems, but he still prioritizes his companies and his buddies. Bill Gates is a staunch globalist along with his buddies and they are very mean people outside of charity cameras. Ask anyone that has dealt with them before in private and they will tell you. We know why Trump is mean to some people. He does not hide his personality.

Who could possibly entice Trump with more money? He already has more than he can use. He has always been very pro America and no one can honestly question his patriotism at any juncture of his life. Will he make his buddies richer? I hope not, but it's not like he has debtors holding his balls, considering his level of wealth. Who cares if he lies. He's a businessman, of course he lies his ass off in business. Johnson and Jill are lying to us because they think they are qualified to run this country and they are not. Hillary is flat out evil and froze Mike Cernovich's bank accounts today. If she wins, several of us will pay the price for our speech and being her enemies.

If Trump cannot fix this country, no one can. It will forever be an eternal shitfest of one dog eating and biting every dog that is not in his own pack. We might as well be living in our own Thomas Hobbes' Leviathan world.

Our constitution is not perfect. None are from any country. If we cannot trust any men to run this country, the problem is not the constitution. It's us as a people. We might as well find some other place to live if it is that fucking bad.

If the Brazilians can find enough men to be BOPE officers to clean out favelas and catch dope dealers without stabbing the country in the back by taking money from them, why can't we as Americans find even one guy, that would be willing to sacrifice to fix his country and not be corruptible?

If Trump fails to avoid being corrupt in office, collapse of this country is not just possible. It will be inevitable. Rome's collapse won't come close to what would be in store for us.

Thought about how much work it would be coming in cold with no government experience, people are telling him about how if he doesn't compromise he'll simple get ignored by legislator pros. He doesn't have 65% rabid support so he can effectively beat up the Senate/House, and they can simply ignore him when they don't agree.

He went easy on Clinton because he realized it's bad for the country if he goes scorched earth and leaves a denigrated President in place.

He's not dumb, he just doesn't think things through in a timely way, now that he's looking at the responsibility and the amount of work it would be to do the most minimal job he's saying "fuck this" to himself.

Tried to get in to it, but it was full. I don't think the venue was that big. Glad it was sold out, though.

I found out why there aren't tons of Trump signs on lawns- they actually charge $20 a piece for them.

People like IKE are valuable in a specific way: they teach us a cold hard fact of biology. At some point, most people calcify. Their ideas are cemented into them. They were taught and stimulated to see the world in a certain way, rightly or wrongly; it remained unchecked until their 50s or 60s or whatever, and now there is literally nothing you could do to change their mind. It is biologically impossible. He will remain a leftist until the day he dies, nothing will ever deviate him from that, because it's simply part of what he is now. It's way too late to change that. We just have to accept that and see it as an interesting small bit of diversity amongst an otherwise right-wing crowd.

Trump is quadrupling all campaign donations over $75 right now.

Donate $100 and he'll make it $400.

He's also tripling everything over $50, and doubling everything else.

Now is the time to donate if you've been holding out.

Every person must have a date hardwired into them.

Mine was 30. It was almost like a flash went off in my head. Suddenly I saw myself, an entrepreneur, redneck tradesman, living among barristas and career students. They never grew up, were never sober, and grew more bitter with age.

Laner the conservative was born.

Its truly a remarkable world where I have been alive long enough to see the same people who rallied against the Iraq war, now support whole hearted the people who invaded it.

I love that optimism, but are these all white people? I wonder about places like Detroit and Flint... or the fact that Pennsylvania is deep Trump country outside of Philadelphia and Pittsburgh and two cities there can tilt the whole state to Hillary.

God I hope Michigan goes for Trump because then Pennsylvania and Wisconsin can and we're trending up to 300 electoral votes at that point. And the only thing better than a Trump win is a major Trump win.

Sorry to link WaPo but here's the info --

Much smaller debate prep this time, I guess the prep for the last one was a bit of a shit show because he was bringing in generals on top of Ingraham and Ailes, just these giant groups.

This time he has Chris Christie lead the prep with input from Reince. Kellyanne, Bannon, Jared Kushner and of course the MVP Stephen Miller were there to chip in as well. For all of Christie's faults he sure is lethal in debates and town halls, a very glib fella.

Interesting to see Christie and Kushner are in the same room, some history there after the Prosecution of Kushners dad and the rumours that Kushner kiboshed Christie as VP, if that's true. Putting aside personal differences to MAGA

Which is a bigger swing state? Wisconsin or Colorado? And do counties matter at all?

I'm registered to vote in both La Crosse County and Dane County in Wisconsin. Arapahoe County in Colorado.

I know I'm only one vote, but I want to put my vote to best use. I was thinking about voting absentee in WI but now I'm starting to think CO is going to be the bigger swing state. They are 10 and 9 electoral votes respectively.
Last Parade · 2016-10-02 22:29:00 · #41954
Colorado is arguably a better swing state/shot at flipping though there hasn't been much polling done in Wisconsin... Trump-as-rust-belt-saviour is a meme right now but unsure yet if it'll come true the whole way or just in Ohio. Colorado would be better in that regard.

Vote by district doesn't matter on the presidential stage but could make a difference on who the representative is in the district and if their races are due to be close. Colorado also has multiple ballot measures on tap while Wisconsin doesn't: https://ballotpedia.org/Colorado_2016_ballot_measures

And Colorado has a senate race on now, with a pro-Trump candidate, who's losing bigly though Gravis had him winning: http://www.realclearpolitics.com/epolls/...-5984.html (Wisconsin's senate race has Feingold in a much-more-likely win scenario so less value in a senate vote there)

Colorado is probably the better bet for greater swing status + ballot measures + senator vote.
