Ted Cruz is a rat though.
And the #NeverTrump crowd has done everything in their power to sabotage and disparage Trump and his supporters for months. Many of them were more than willing to sell out the country for a small amount of money or power.
As I pointed out previously in a post about Van Jones, people need to stop being so merciful and forgiving.
In fact, that's one of the main reasons the West is in the situation it's currently in. There comes a point where you have to accept human nature and realize that people aren't going to stop trying to screw you over or kill you because you're nice to them.
If Cruz can be useful to the Trump campaign, that's great -- but until then, he's a rat. And if he runs for office again in the future, he will still be a rat then too.

That just goes to show you how little he cares for the people of this country. He never cared about the common man. He was a rich oligarch/plutocrat back before he was president and still now. He goes to football and baseball games all the time, but make no mistake. He isn't down there hanging out with Joe Six Pack...CIA is CIA. He has been all about subversion of people and dirty backroom deals his entire life.

They have to "forgive" past "enemies" (or say opponents, being in politics or business), when the situation asks for it, because if not, it'd be too awkward and unpractical. All things considered, only the end-result matters: defeating blind-globalism and the Crooked one.

Because, imagine that Cruz openly (and convincingly) endorses D. Trump, who then goes on to win (by a thin margin) against Health-Hazard-Hillary... then, if there is reason to think that Cruz's endorsement did help, did turn out to be, say, "marginal-in-absolute-figures" but decisive, then you and every other normal man on the planet would be in debt with Cruz, forever, whether you like Cruz or not.
Quote:When Conservative people do not succeed in burying the hatchet, like what happened with the (usually-excellent) Farage, who always treated Marine Le Pen in a snobbish, dismissive way, bad things happened (Marine Le Pen was almost unable to create a EU parliamentary group because of the smug way Farage treated her). My point is, well, let's resume it: No enemy on the Right, especially in the midst of a decisive fight.

Best part?
They play a freakin' ad for the Donald himself in the middle of the interview!
Zach's show is supposed to show that famous people have self-awareness and can laugh at themselves. However, the things brought up here are a bit too true (the sea of shit, and consistency and smell of said shit, is getting deeper for HillDawg with every passing hour), and HillDawg's responses are lame and cliché enough to put a meth addict on a bender to sleep. She also missed opportunities to display anything resembling charm.
For example:
Zach: "So, how can I best reach you? Email?"
Hillary: *Parkinsonian stare*
This almost makes me wonder if Zach is secretly stumping for Trump... Nothing anti-Trump that is said in this video is hurting him. He's almost antifragile.

It's likelier that Zach actually believes in the same tone-deaf way as Hillary that this actually came across as positive for Hillary. It had it's funny moments, sure, but overall Hillary was portrayed in a negative light (as is Zach's comic style in general) and Trump was sort of made fun of, but the ad is very positive and it ends with Hillary looking idiotic for taking the interview.
Why in the world would you as a presidential candidate go on a show where the host talks about steaks being from the "asshole" part. How unpresidential.
