Well the asian guy and his girl precede to grab 4 balls each of various weights for the two of them so 8 balls total. That alone is retarded. But the worst part is at least 50% of the time instead of using one of their 8 balls they keep using either mine or my friends ball to bowl instead of theirs. So I go up to bowl and have to wait another minute to throw because my ball is in the fucking ball return half the time because they keep using it.

There should be a required course at the bowling alley that teaches these foreigners American bowling etiquette and how to assimilate. It is driving me crazy.

Or you know...you could just tell them to act civilized and teach them some manners.

If you use camera tricks, it isn't magic, it is film making. Ask Criss Angel about that. I am assuming this is close to how it looks live, and that when camera cuts are made, they aren't helping in the deception, or again you are cheating as a magician.

I kind of don't want to know how it is done. Never seen anything like it. You may be right about a screen, and he is using a combination of real coins and sleight of hand sometimes, and others he is using images of coins on a dark tv screen.

yes - could be an advanced monitor - though with utterly black screen:


Then he would need actual objects mixed with the fake ones - at 02:12 the third coin disappears before the card covers it.

Another option would be a prepared table, where things appear and disappear on strings, being pulled back and forth within openings of the felt table.

The only thing that I am sure is that it is not true magic. If anyone could do this, then they would be doing far more outrageous stuff.

Yeah, the thing that caught me off guard was the re-introduced rose petals, which actually seemed to be a low-density, soft material as far as I could tell.

Coins could be explained by some combination of trick-lighted coins and prepared table.

But there is no reason the rose petals need to "work" via the same mechanism as the coins.

Great call back with the rose petals. If he didn't look like such a wimp, he could probably plow through sloots like a warm knife through butter. He has a lot of time and determination to figure this magic stuff out; he could spare a few hours for the gym and get a better haircut.

I cannot imagine how you could create a magic table that could make coins appear and disappear like that, not to mention change into rose petals without the audience catching a flash of anything going away or coming back. That stuff happened in a flash, and does not seem mechanically possible.

There are tables out there that do the trick for the magician, but they are much clunkier, and need covering. Things don't happen right out in the open:

Yeah, most people take up magic because their social skills suck, and they see it as a way in. A guy with good game who can do magic can kill.

I do call them out occasionally, but I've found most of the time it's not even worth it. I've had to clear Indians out of my lane and tell them to please chill out and stay in their lane, but they seem not to even comprehend what they are doing wrong. Once you have the confrontation it kind of sours the whole rest of the bowling experience anyway.

And yes bowling etiquette is a real thing. There are manners that most Americans understand that foreigners just don't get, like not bowling at the same time as the person in the lane next to you. You should wait to let a person finish their shot before beginning your shot.

Am I white trash for bowling? I don't know, I don't really care, it is something I enjoy so I will continue to bowl.

The main point of my post is that this is America, I shouldn't have to teach people how to behave in public at the bowling alley around me. Bowling etiquette is a small thing yes, but I love America and these little things start to add up and they're becoming more pervasive in all aspects of society.

When you have unchecked immigration and masses of foreigners pouring in every day that don't assimilate, it is just going to get worse. I have a right to be angry about the deteriorating culture that I see all around me.

Hated it for a variety of reasons. Read the IMDB comments of the Hate it crowd. They had the same ideas about it about utterly illogical crazy story line. Even Prometheus was a lot better.
