Just finished watching The Big Short. Only question is this: is anyone selling bundles of shit student loans, and can one short them?

Not a fully baked set of thoughts coming...

I am not sure if that is a possibility. I believe most, if not almost all student loans are backed by the government and students can't BK on them.

Granted, if they cannot pay, I am not sure how they get labelled. Do they ever go to a 100% uncollectable category? Not sure, because if you can't BK and the government backs them, the student has to spend a life in poverty or leave the country to avoid paying it back.

Thinking about dropping a "how to draw" datasheet. Any interest?

I am pretty certain, since he is an SJW, his skills are far less than he portrays.

Who would train an insane guy? I mean come on, I get the almighty dollar, but shit - this is just asking for trouble.

She needs to hook up with Nintendo whore who is doing a patreon to address mental health, and got some services.

Then he can also cockfight her husband.

I'm sure this kids has no formal training. He probably just watches a lot of anime and youtube videos.

Honestly this kid is exactly what a nu-metal reject was like from the early 2000's, all the way down to his style and mannerisms. A complete nerd and likely was a total loser in high school. Only problem is he ever grew out of that phase.

My friends and I were the same way when we were 14. We wore lots of black, thought the kids who did Columbine were cool, listened to Slipknot and Linkin Park, and believed that were were somehow more gifted/intelligent/aware than all the "posers" around us. We also used to watch Knife Collectors on the home shopping channel and tell ourselves next $300 we come across we are gonna spring for that 40 piece set, or that replica William Wallace claymore.

This kid probably rides that thin gray line of being a completely harmless pussy who carries around a sword because he thinks it's cool and unique, or a being future serial killer.

I can assure you he's never hurt anyone with that sword in his life (intentionally).

I used be an insatiable artist when I was a kid all the way up through highschool. I have hardly drawn shit since then. Last thing I ever drew honestly was the album artwork and a shirt design for my band like 2 years ago. I miss drawing but other hobbies have taken precedent.

I'd be interesting in reading such a data sheet.

We must be the same age. God Nu metal was an embarrassment.

Hey man no shame here. I still jam the old Slipknot, Korn, Soulfy, Mudvayne, Limp Bizkit, and Mushroomhead records. I don't buy all these re-formed nu metal dudes to who only listened to hardcore and death metal and act like nu metal was a joke. Was some good stuff.

If you want to be blown away, go back and read some Mudvayne, Mushroomhead, and American Head Charge lyrics. Some of the most poetic music I have read in my life. Far deeper and more beautiful than the surface level smutt that modern metal bands are putting out now.

^ I still can dig on some old Korn (Ball tounge comes to mind) and Linkin Park. The cringe worthy shit was crap like Head PE and Limp Bizkit. Though I always thought Wes Borland was cool. He had an awesome stage presence.

Hate that band. Thats the one nu metal/rapcore band that a handful of my friends liked and year after year tried to get me to be into but my hatred for them just grew. That band is garbage to me.

As for Limp Bizkit - 3 Dolla Bill Y'all is where it's at. The last song on that album is one of my favorite chill/background/self-reflection songs of all time.

Anyone use the Brave web browser? I've started using it on all my devices. It's pretty good. Natural adblock, and also screens everything for tracking data so big data farmers can't use any of your info.

95% sure I just seen Kate Upton today. She was having a meal at a touristy restaurant on King Street. I bring this up because in person she did not look all that great.

I knew it was likely her because this giant leggy blonde sits down, I check her out, I see her tan looks like a rich person tan, I see the tits poking through the baggy shirt... then I see the face. She sees me looking at her and that look of "I think he knows who I am" with the split second pause like if I am going to approach her for a selfie or some shit.

I left the woman alone, went on my way. Saw a much hotter random girl with a backpack on just a block down.

Anyone into air rifles?

Finally made a bootUSB for Linux.

Can't believe I didn't do this earlier. Ever since Windows 7 downloaded the "switch to windows 10 for free" bullshit my laptop has been running miserably and I refuse to believe it's a coincidence (I also refuse to start using Windows 10).

^Getting a permit *spit* for my first air rifle. Not many benefts over a .22 rimfire in my opinion but I'd like something my boy can use to practice without seriously risking a trip to the ER.

I'm in charge of a dozen or so computers at work, and was anti windows 10, until the chimp users clicked upgrade to windows 10 so half the machines are on windows 10 and the rest on 7. Looks like I'm just gonna have to do it.

Easier to just do it than retrain monkeys onto linux.

Annoying that you don't have a choice. Somewhere in the voluminous depths of the windows "click here if you agree" conditions is one that says "despite the fact that you have purchased a complete product we reserve the right to use it like an alien facehugger uses a human host".
Phoenix 路 2016-06-03 05:27:00 路 #17993
"Easier to just do it than retrain monkeys onto linux."

That's because linux is designed by techies for techies. It's about as user-friendly as a coffee mug made of ice. The reason for that is the same as you calling normal users, who are busy with other concerns, as "monkeys" and "chimps" -- smugness rivaling the level of Bill Maher.

When you search "how do I do X?" for linux, some nerd either says "easy, you just open a terminal and execute these 10 shell commands perfectly and in the right order and assuming you already have all the dependencies to do that", or "don't do that, why would you want to do that? none of us cool, smart kids do that". And linuxers see no problem with that, indeed they are proud of it. They are actually anti-user-friendly -- only they are smart enough to know how to do things in their super complicated system, which allow them to manufacture a sense of superiority over others for themselves.

Which is why it's Apple that's making the big cash from consumers. Computers aren't there for the sake of computing. They are there to make everybody's lives easier.

Which variant? I run Mint on a desktop that has never had anything but linux on it, and have done everything from art to 3d modeling to programming whatever language to shitposting on RVF with free software on it tard.

I do run into ridiculous install issues every now and then, chiefly getting nVidia drivers to work, but even that's gotten easier. It's been a solid computer for over 3 years and does everything I've needed it to do with a dual monitor set up, SSD OS drive, and a mirrored platter RAID for storage.

Just spent a few days visiting an aunt. Crashed at their place in a retirement home, I noticed two things.

1. Old ladies eyefuck with no shame.

2. They talk about death in a way that is almost haunting. I have no desire to cross over anytime soon and seeing how everyone seemed to be awaiting for their visit with the grim reaper really causes a guy to experience true appreciation for all the time he expects.

And now back to NYC for a few more days.

Linux, Muhammad Ali, shit bands from the turn of the century, a quote by Hefner, getting eye-fucked by old ladies, Kate Upton, and how to draw her like one of your french lizards.

All in one page. I love this forum.
