This exactly. One of the things recently that helped me re-assess was Roosh's Q&A video. In it, he talks about happiness being a feminine pursuit. I reflected on that for a bit and came back with a new perspective. I can't recall his exact words, but basically he said you shouldn't be worrying about whether you're "happy" while going after a goal. Try to do something difficult and you will be a better man at the end of the day..."happiness" be damned.

That reset my perspective real quick. It made me appreciate what I do have instead of wishing it was something it wasn't.

Curious to hear what conclusion/perspective you came to on this.

I didn't particularly agree with Roosh's perspective on that question.

I was almost struck by lightning two nights ago. 11PM ish, 18 hours into a 28 hour shift, stepped out on a soaking wet roof with piles of a conductive metal laid out all over it to get my coffee I had set down earlier. One torrential downpour with 60 mph winds had just passed and another one was rolling in, I was standing there in a puddle for a moment watching heat lightning high up in the clouds all around. All of a sudden it felt like I had stuck my entire arm in a light socket - not a huge shock but not localized like touching a hot wire feels. Split second later I saw a flash and split second after that heard a huge crack. Scared the shit out of me. Assume it must have passed though my legs as well but didn't really feel it there. My arm tingled for about 10 minutes. I won't be taking any more chances in a lighning storm for a while.

Did you conclude that the lightning struck nearby you, or it just passed through some small part of something connected to you, yet that does not sound very feasible without having some actual physical damage? I take it that you did not have noticeable physical damage?

It is possible for lightning to pass through someone without causing any damage to the body.

It is also possible to be fried to a crisp.

Or anything inbetween.

Lightning is notorious for being very unpredictable.

However, the vast majority of lightning deaths are due to the heart's electrical activity being short circuited and it suddenly stops pumping.

It sounds like a lightning bolt or branch of a bolt went in through Gorgias's shoulder and exited his hand.

If the lightning had instead decided to route itself through his feet, Gorgias might have died to sudden cardiac arrest due to the electrical disturbance in the heart. So Gorgias is very lucky to be alive.

But to answer the question, yes, it is possible to be struck by lightning and not have any physical injuries. Almost any injury pattern is possible. Lightning is a wild and unpredictable force.

What they taught us in medical school - if you can hear thunder, you are at risk of being struck by lightning.

Thought this belongs more in the general lounge than in the player's lounge, but one thing I've noticed that makes any date no matter what you do horrible is if you're already having a horrible day.

Went into a date with a horrible mindset, and although she was a bit of a bitch I have my own attitude to blame for making it worse.

Cheers!

Question.

Do you have to dress according to the demographic of women you are trying to target?

For instance Im a Latino who dresses kind of gangster with snapbacks, dress shirts, chains, ray ban glasses, Jordans, etc...

I know this style works with Black chicks and Latinas, but would it work with white girls and Asian bitches?

I feel it would but something tells me theyll be too frightening. But at the same time I dont want to dress like something im not like all dressy dressy and shit.

Any advice?
Truth Teller 路 2016-07-22 23:16:00 路 #18534
Dressing a particular way will repel certain women and attract others. As you said, your style of dress works with black women and Latinas. It probably wouldn't work as well on Asian women, provided they're not already into that style. As for white women, I can't commentate, it probably varies on what they're into.

Dress is among the most polarizing things you can do. If you dress poorly (clothes too large for you, poor colors, etc.), then certain women aren't going to be interested no matter how good your game is. If you dress well, you broaden your horizons. Fortunately, dress is one of the easiest things to do well with regard to game. There's no excuse for having a wardrobe that doesn't fit.

Even though it seems like a negative idea on the page it had a positive impact on me. It reminds me that life is not a pursuit of "happiness" it's a pursuit of meaning. The times in life when I was trying to recapture "haappiness" sucked. The times when I've stuck my face to the grindstone on something and single mindedly pursued it, happiness came as a side effect. So it reminded me that happiness (as it's conventionally known in the feminine way, as was referred to in the video) is a side effect of doing great things and isn't something to be sought after directly.

Absolutely beautiful. In 20 years when MikeCF is teaching "The Art of Trolling" at RooshU, this will be required viewing. Look at how Alex kept his composure. Alex gives no fucks, his supplements must be working, even after the "lizard people" comments.

I feel you have a better shot of attracting some of the "hoodier" chicas by dressing well/trendy and approaching boldly than you do of picking up a classy chick by dressing gangster no matter your demeanor during the approach. I try to maximize target range rather than going for a specific niche. Trendy with a bit of an edge - fitted selvedge paired with an anarchist themed print t shirt and woven black leather sneaks today on the approach.

The thing about liberals, who I grew up with, is that all the women, deep down inside, think they are the strong ones, and they are just humoring the men, letting them protect their little egos.

When things get tense, they take over, usually making everything worse. So Cenk loses his composure against Alex Jones, Ana thinks she has to fix things by stepping in and taking over from the ineffectual male. And her solution is to lose her composure even more than he did, at the same time being even less effectual.

That was the relationship between the Young Turk and his hot sidekick who was also dressing to upstage him I might add.

Now take a look at Alex Jones and his hot broad sidekick. She let the man do what he does best and just hung out there at his side, in case he needed her or called her over to get involved. She didn't second guess him or try to take over. She was just there by his side.

When he needed a t shirt to give to Cenk, she brought it over, and she also stepped forward was when she was sure he was leaving, and that was only to be of service to him, by making sure that they got their microphone back before they left, as you can see from the still of the first video above.

This is why you have to see women in pressure filled situations. Either they just carry on as they always have, or the mask drops and they do something stupid that they will then spend the rest of their lives justifying or denying.

A black man (false flag believer), a mexican (bernie supporter), an Indian (me the trump supporter), a white girl (no back ground)

The black man is a mutual friend, the girl and the mexican are employees, and me the Indian.

We had a in depth discussion on:

-false flags
-conspiracy theories
-BLM
-Clinton
-who really pulls the strings
-doomsday scenarios
-George Soros
-Isreal and zionism
-the MSM
-a bit about the DNC Leak
-Bernie never getting the vote
-the Illusion of choice
-ammunition/gun control

Holy shit was that fucking fun - it felt like I was on the forum. The black guy led with the false flag arguments and events, the mexican with the media, me with the Trump vote and red pill views, the girl surprisingly agreed with all of it.

That was one of the most intelligent and though provoking convos I had in awhile.

The best part is me and black guy both love Puting, we cracked up at that.

The idea that the average person is an idiot is a bit of propaganda cooked up by the elites and served by the media. Normal people are smart, and they can listen, and express their thoughts well. Your story is no surprise.

Speaking openly out about it without judgement was what was surprising since we're all from different backgrounds, we all agree the globalists are the real problem and dividing us.

I certainly don't consider Bernie and his supporters as being completely out of the picture, yet it really seems difficult, these days, to really talk about the influence of Bernie ideas with Trump and Clinton pushing forth the media agenda directions.

The prevalence of media does definitely affect the dynamics of false flags, and methods that need to be employed in order to fool people. No one likes to consider themselves as one of the easily fooled ones, yet sometimes we may not know for years (if at all) about the level of deception that was employed in order to attempt to influence public opinion in various ways or even to keep us fighting amongst ourselves about potential non issues (or over crumbs) while the bankers (or whatever other beneficiary) runs off with the main prize(s).

There has always been misleading and disinformation, and probably the only things that have changed is the method of delivery.

I don't consider folks to be dumb, but they do allow things to pass by them because there is only so much that they are willing to do in order to battle various macrosystems, even when we know that they are duping us in various ways.

I don't generally consider individuals to be dumb. Its groupthink that dumbs down the herd. People can be heavily influenced and brought to primal simplicity when in large numbers. The larger the numbers the worse they are. It's a very human thing. That is what tyrannical leaders exploit.

File under "sign of the times".

I went to my local gun store and they were selling containers purpose built and marketed for burying ammunition.

Completely illegal to use for their intended purpose in Australia. Hats off to them for having the guts to put them on the shelves.

Old Dolly parton albums (1960s) are "real talk" for women. It covers topics like:

- making a woman cut the grass and fix broken things dries up her pussy
- being pissed off that some bitch stole your man
- how to tell if your man is cheating on you vs. going on a fishing trip
- telling your little sister not to be a slut
