Agreed. The design and layout of the RVF is one of its great strengths, and as crucial as any other single thing to its continued success.

If a web forum doesn't have good bones, it's got nothing, and putting good meat on bad bones is just a waste.

There is a perfect balance struck in terms of the number of subforums, their visual organization and ordering, the display and navigation of threads, the ability to keep track of a sufficient but not excessive number of things (who's on and where etc), a color pattern that's exceptionally easy on the eye, and a rich but not overwrought toolkit for editing and posting.

The RVF skeleton is so good that it never needs to change. It's just up to all of us to keep working its muscles hard so they can grow and get ever stronger.

My jr year of highschool I met a chick and i thought she was gonna be my highschool sweetheart. My senior year I was so beta and always trying to please her I missed out on many of my activities. When school ended she went on a trip to mexico with her family (her mom hated me) and she probably fucked some fag. Anyways she came back with 10 pounds extra ,walking like a gorilla and talking like her mother (femenazi). I was turned off but I still had hope . I tried but i was easily annoyed and dumped her ass. Few hours later i came back whinning like a bitch on her period. She never took me back. My cousin noticed I was deppresed and losing plenty of wieght and showed me the light of ROOSH!. I was a regular reader of a seduction website in my language, which I felt was becoming far too soft. At first it was useful (I later found they were just translating mystery's stuff) but as the website grew, owners/writers kept watering down their articles and became ever more politically correct to get a bigger readership, when I stopped reading it women represented 1/4 of their regular commenters.

I felt stupid for reading websites that merely translated and rearranged english content when my english was good enough to get back to the root. But since I was disgusted by how soft and useless my old website became, I wanted something more radical, I typed some things in google and quickly found Roissy, his writing really suited my mindset. I saw 'Roosh' mentioned many times in Roissy's comment section and I grew tired of not knowing who they were all talking about so I clicked and I liked it, I read both until Roissy's writing changed.

Seems like I'm not the only one to have discovered Roosh by Roissy.

I googled "Hot persian girls" and ran into "how to bang Persian girls" by Law Dogger in Return of Kings, thought to myself "good enough" and Read it, bookmarked it and ignored it for a while..
3 months later I hear a female friend bitching about that "asshole" Tuthmosis for writing "Girls with short hair are damaged", looked it up and laughed out loud when I discovered I already had bookmarked it and the rest is history baby..

I heard about Heatiste on some political site. I read Heartiste and I loved the red pill knowledge. He'd periodically link to this hairy fella with a funny name who I pretty much ignored. But one day I was poking around the forum after he linked to it and thought it was gold.



Seriously, Roosh and others articulated things I felt and believed in my whole adult life but in a muddled way. This forum has brought me clarity and focus.

I remember googling something like "American women suck" and coming across rooshs website. It was that older one too, with all his previous articles and book reviews listed. I was amazed that someone could describe so precisely and succinctly what I had been feeling for so long. I also really enjoyed the book reviews.

Some annoying feminist that constantly posts to my Facebook news feed started posting links to posts on RoK. I read them all and found myself in agreement to almost of all of them. It wasn't long after until I found the RVF.

I will say though that I've been red pill for several years now. Prior to RoK, I just didn't know the term for it. My first introduction to game was back in 2007 and 2008. I read the Mystery Method and Style's book and a bunch of other which I can't remember now. That, combined with going out a lot with a good buddy, opened my eyes to that world.

I just tried to check another forum. FUCK! It's like a 3 year old decided to come up with the wireframe. There are so many links and options that you don't know what click will lead where.

I love me some RVF. Please RVF, don't go anywhere!

Oh, and I think the other forum layout sucks because it was designed by a woman......their minds not logical enough to think something like this out.

Found this forum after going on my second trip to EE. I too noticed what a number of international travelers have noticed. American women are overweight, conceded, have attitudes, talk too loud, don't know how to dress and well, when I returned I googled "EE woman are better than American woman", as well as "American woman suck" and "American woman are fatter than European woman" and.....I got hits to this forum for each entry.

Been reading it off and on since. Goddamn there's a lot of truth spoken around here.

I found Roosh forum back in 200x, can't remember exactly when, must have been just in the beginning of the forum. I was looking for info on where to go to pick up chicks in Singapore and the Philippines. At that time, you could only find whoremongering advice on the internet when it came to those countries. Found the forum, but it seemed like there was only threads about south and central america, so never went back. Damn shame that, can't help but think how things would have turned out with some red pill back then. Found the forum again after Dont Bang Denmark.

Around the time Hanna Rosin's "End of Men" came out, I became very insecure about manhood in 21st century America. I was pretty blue pill, but knew there was something wrong. I started trying to disprove her claims (I would look up the stats and show how it had more to do with socioeconomic factors-like it was working class men that were getting the shaft, not middle class guys). I was still under the impression that manhood was about being a provider.

At the same time, I would read Datelab in the WaPo magazine. Every week I was like "these chicks are such cunts"-these guys are nice. So one day I decided to look up datelab online and see if anyone else was thinking this. I linked to one of Roosh's threads about a Datelab article (think it was the one where I guy who seemed like he reads the forum was he guy). Started reading the forum, and slowly began swallowing the red pill. Been kinda lazy about it, a bit too insecure, but I've made this year the year of self improvement. Lost like 50 pounds, got rid of my coke bottle glasses, and now making approaches.

I've always been enamored with the possibility of traveling and having sex with women from other countries. I would go to Mexico from time to time and try to use my U.S. status on the Mexi chicks which was the only game I knew, in fact I didn't even know what game was. I just went by looks and U.S. status to get the attention of girls. In 2011 I saved up a little money and went on a tour group to Argentina for a week which wasn't long with my school. This made me step out of my comfort zone and see a different culture than my own with different people, different accent and different way of doing things and loved the Argentinian women but didn't have much game at the time but I flirted with lots of girls down there.

When I came back to the U.S. I was depressed because I never wanted to leave Argentina. I loved their culture and their women and I vowed myself to go again when I got the chance. I tried finding out information about the women in Argentina so I googled "Argentinian girls" and came up with this:

I used to work overnight shifts at a gas station and I would make small talk with the regulars.

One of them was a mid 40 year old guy, he was always telling me not to get married.

I always told him that I would never do that because I did'nt want to lose half my shit.

Funny thing is I dont have anything to my name.

Well one day, he told me that his wife had divorced him and took everything he had.

He said something along the lines of not wanting it to happen to me.

I checked them out but did'nt really get into the red pill until about 2 years later.

What happened two years later? My oneitis(gf) of 5 years fucked me over.

Everything made sense after that.

I started reading game material and came across roosh's blog then his forum.

Till this day I'm grateful to that guy.

I wish I could get a hold of him to thank him personally.

Still improving myself and always will.

Even though, I have never meet any of you guys personally, I know i belong here.

Had a break up in my blue pills days.
Type "how to get my girlfriend back" on google, found RoK, came to this forum.
Radically changed my behavior with women, would never go back to my old way of seeing things.
I guess my story is the same for many other members.
