RE: How did you end up in Roosh V Forum?
I came here from the RooshV main page after looking for info to help guide someone important to me in the dating scene. What I found here was earth shattering. Game, culture, politics- a survival guide of sorts. I found shit here that I wouldnt find in a thousand lifetimes.

Roissy - Roosh V - RoK - RVF. Roosh and RoK are blocked at work, but RVF isn't thankfully.

RE: How did you end up in Roosh V Forum?
Actually, quite provocative, when I recall the path that led me here. Back when the Elliot Rodger thing went down, I heard about it on a mainstream news report. The anchor (female), in a foreboding tone of voice, referred to where he had supposedly acquired his knowledge base as . . . "the Manosphere". I had never heard of such a thing. I soon proceeded to research, traipsing amidst several blogs and the like. Soon I started to gravitate toward the few sites that I found to be the most solid. As I got more acquainted with the material that was alleged to have been intertwined with that young man's ideology, I found that there was more to the story than the media was portraying.

Again, I ultimately narrowed down my reading base to a stable of a mere few sites that resonated most positively. These were the Chateau Heartiste, Return of Kings, and RooshV, and subsequently, the RVF. Once I became aware of what these men were talking about I became convinced that this vilified community is in truth a guiding light for men seeking self-betterment. I arrived here to stay.

As has been covered extensively here all ready, imagine how this support structure here could have saved Rodger, and thus, his victims. But still, as its magnitude of influence grows daily, more and more will be informed, captivated, and inspired by the pages here, and be rightly saved.

Amazing, how I first heard about all of this - through a distorted and blackened lens, that I took upon myself to polish and hone so that the truth was revealed.

Simply searching for "easiness of girls per country" as I was looking for a new country to relocate to, and ended up here.

I was looking for information about DC several years ago and ran into this very accurate article, which eventually led to this forum. I didn't register and start commenting till much later.

RE: How did you end up in Roosh V Forum?
I was reading a bunch of game blogs back when I was 19 or 20 and I came across Willy Wonka's game blog.

I thought his exploits were pretty damn impressive at the time, so I read quite a bit.

In the blog roll, I noticed a certain "Roosh V" blog and I was curious, as Roosh is not a common name at all.

One day I clicked on it and started reading his content, which was far better than anything else I had seen.

I remember trying to register on a day that wasn't the first, so I didn't register right away, I ended up lurking for quite a while before finally taking the time to register.

If you read the comments following that article you linked, The G Manifesto was calling D.C. a B grade city rather than a D grade city. A lot can change in five years.

DC event in my case. Tokyo Joe told me that I am a gold member of the forum because of the seat I bought and I said "what forum?"

I had found the DC event from reading ROK, but never clicked on or noticed the forum link.

RE: How did you end up in Roosh V Forum?
I came here from the redpill subreddit. I was in the pickup subs and like many others noticed that the advice was getting 'watered down' to be less controversial. The redpill sub formed in 2012 and I was hooked. At the time the recommended game material were Roosh's Band and Day Bang books. For whatever reason a couple years later redpill and Roosh separated. I suspect the guys running the Reddit wanted to sell their own books. I didn't like sudden 180 on ROK and the Bang books, so I started hanging out here. I still enjoy the redpill Reddit from time to time, but too much of it is selling the idea of taking the pill and I don't need to be sold anymore.

RE: How did you end up in Roosh V Forum?
I was reading articles on The Art of Manliness for a few months but wanted something I felt was manlier and more useful to read. I wound up reading several articles by Jack Donovan, author of The Way or Men. This started my search about masculinity and becoming a true and better man. I wound up reading all the articles by Law Dogger on ROK and then just transitioned to Roosh. They were the only authors I would read or listen to for months. Glad I found this place.

RE: How did you end up in Roosh V Forum?
I probably got to Roosh's blog from Roissy and probably got there from Half Sigma. The more important point is why I stayed here at RVF. So much wisdom, so many insightful posters. I ignore at least half of the content here and disagree with a small percentage of the rest but the stuff I do connect with keeps the mind engaged and the spirit alive.

My RVF favorites are the posts that blend personal stories with concepts from the forum. I'm still thinking about the bring-donuts-to-the-office post. I would never do something like that but just knowing that someone else might -- and why -- was an eye opener.

RE: How did you end up in Roosh V Forum?
I got to this site indirectly after reading the Way of Men by Jack Donovan and the Rational Male by Rollo Tomassi which spurred me on to do some more online reading of various sites which led me here via ROK.

I don't post all that much but i do read both sites avidly on a daily basis and are my "go-to" for advice/inspiration etc.

I would say hands down this forum and ROK have made me a better person, I wasn't that bad beforehand and was totally aware of the one-sided narrative we men are spun from day one but I thought it was just me that thought that way and that the rest of the world was screwed!

Someone in an unrelated forum was complaining about Mr. Roosh. Coincidentally around the same time, a friend of mine told me about the book, "The Game." I checked out the forum, RoK, and purchased a copy of the Game and became a convert.

Roissy, from a feature in a major magazine (can't recall which) on the manosphere. Unfortunately Roissy isn't such a good gateway anymore due to that blogs increasing focus on politics, JQ, race, etc.

Stumbled across ROK, then started following Roosh on twitter. Once the Battle of Toronto and Montreal began, I decided to join the forum to keep up with events as they unfolded. I guess it was the breaking point not to stay silent any longer.

RE: How did you end up in Roosh V Forum?
When I was younger I thought I was one of the few people on the entire internet that had red pilled or non mainstream politics and ideas. I mean everywhere I went it was the same super feminized beta crap. When I started working out I found the bodybuilding website and looked for tips on their forum. After a little while I branched out and stumbled upon the misc section. That was my first introduction to at least a moderately masculine and red pilled community.

I mean of course the trolling aspect was obnoxious and there wasn't a lot of value to be gained but man the occasional post where guys actually said shit I agreed with instead of the brainwashed beta nonsense they learned from feminists was so incredibly refreshing. I lurked there for a while until someone posted a topic about a ROK article and I clicked on it having no idea what the hell "return of kings" was. Going to the site for the first time was tantamount to some kind of hard drug I guess. It was overwhelming, looking at just the article topics and being blown away. Never did I think such a site could exist that would call out the short neon haired tattooed women for what they were, ugly. Actually I think that might have been the article posted.

I browsed around there for a while until I found the forum. Can't remember exactly how. I think I looked more into who Roosh was and found his blog and other blogs in the...sphere? And then eventually looked up the forum on his blog. So basically I'd say I went misc-ROK-Blogs-RooshVForum.
