RE: How did you end up in Roosh V Forum?
Got a copy of Neil Strauss's "The Game" book back when it dropped in late 2005 or so. Been fascinated by the topic ever since (and how it pertains to dealing with the opposite sex). Possibly while doing some random Google searching a few years later I organically stumbled upon Roosh's website & forum.

RE: How did you end up in Roosh V Forum?
Went from a libertarian/SJW hybrid at the end of high school to right-wing talk radio devotee by the time the 2012 race came around - the anti-intellectual lefties at college disgusted me that much. When Romney lost, I went soul-searching for a while, knowing that the lefties were destroying the country, but not wanting to bet on a losing horse in the process.

Began reading the occasional article off of here, liked most of what I read. (I'd liked David DeAngelo when I'd read his stuff in late high school, so many of the dating articles were familiar territory - and obviously far better than what simplistic stuff he'd talked about in his seminars.) The Republicans winning Congress in 2014 (and then squandering it by not fighting Obama in early 2015) pissed me off enough where I began reading other news sources - this forum being one.

This was around the time I studied abroad for a year surrounded by socialists, so it didn't take me much to cross all the way over. When Trump announced his candidacy in 2015, I admired aspects of him but was still trying to get lefties to like me - so I was horrified at his rhetoric. As his opponents dwindled to nothing, I became more and more comfortable with him...by Summer 2016 I was all in, and when he won the election, I was a convert.

If I hadn't lurked on here so much, I would have believed the hysteria coming from the mainstream media. You guys just made so much sense, and after lurking on here there was no way I could look at everything else the same way again.

RE: How did you end up in Roosh V Forum?
I was a big Tom Leykis listener at the time and I went on Twitter to find out about his online show. There was a tweet that was retweeted by Leykis which led to Private Man's (RIP) Twitter and then followed the link to his website. I read one of the articles and I commented on it. I went back to the website a few days later and saw that Private Man himself left a comment and recommended this site and a few others. That was almost 5 years ago.

RE: How did you end up in Roosh V Forum?
I can't remember how I ended up on Roosh his blog. It magically happened.

In some sort of sense I've always been game aware. It all started at age 12 when I was becoming pen pals with girls. Not just for writing with them, but for the fact they were girls and I could meet with them at some point. (Funny outcome: starting at age 18 I met most of them and ended up banging up almost all of them.) I was never focused on girls in my own home country and I figured traveling and meeting girls was a perfect combination.

Before discovering about blogs, this forum etc. I was already travelling all around Europe and the U.S. swooping my way around. I think I discovered all of this by pure luck. I consider it a gift from Heaven. I typed something random in Google and I ended up on Roosh his blog.

I've been reading the forum since 2015. I read everything from the big names on here. Especially those who left. When I "stepped in the arena" I felt right at home although we're a bunch of outsiders at some point. Which is the sad truth because a lot of us on here are men with the right mindset for the future. We all wish to grow. Not simply to swoop around. There is some sort of intellectual sense on here as well. All men look for a meaning.

Although the golden days of the forum are beyond us there is a lot of fantastic days to come.

In my redpill journey from patrice o Neal to the redpill sub on Reddit. I remember watching that one doc about black men going to Brazil and in one of the comments I saw something about this forum and it was mentioned again on Reddit somewhere.

I hope to get my finances in order (trade school) soon so I can travel and drop some recent data sheets. Especially concerning Latin America and Africa l. Totally gotta buy roosh books for all his help

I was a regular on another talk forum unrelated to social issues or politics and someone started a thread complaining about Roosh and the pickup artist community. So, I checked it out, realized his forum featured kindred spirits, and lurked for a year or so before starting an account.

It popped up when I was searching for solo men's travel destinations on Google back in 2012.

When I first came to the site there must have been alot of IRT travel threads so I assumed it was a forum for Indians.

Stumbled across the site afew years later searching for Travel info on Denmark. This time I read afew more threads, realised these dudes are like me and decided to join.

Came over from the ill fated MMSL project which failed when Athol let the community be inundated and subsequently controlled by housewives. He turned into a white knight, one could not ever challenge the word of a female on a man’s site. The fool.

He went after monetization without thinking of the effect it would have. Good riddance. He is the poster boy for purple pill.

I was fighting 100 white knights outside of the club and I wanted to post about my exploits somewhere. Most forums are simply not populated with people who can accept such an outrageous story. I know that the members of the rooshvforum are also men of excellence so I decided to share my tale here.

After sharing my story and getting banned (under the name littledark) I decided to make a serious account and contribute in more meaningful ways.

I will be checking my PMs weekly, so you can catch me there. I will not be posting.

I was following the Elliot Roger thing on the news and followed a bunch of links, mostly “mens’s rights” stuff, which led me here. The men’s rights sites were pretty whiny but Roosh and many of the people posting on the forum seemed reasonable.

I'm not sure if I ever posted this before, but when I went to Roosh State of Man event in DC, Tokyo Joe asked me "Who are you on the forum." I (sincerely) replied "What forum?" because I had never heard of the forum or noticed or clicked on the forum link. I "registered" directly and in person with Roosh.

I got into game when Neil Strauss’s book came out, and really absorbed into it for a while in the local scene. Been monogamous for a number of years now but since 2013 have been swallowing other kinds of red pills (politics, history, culture, and beyond). ROK kept coming up in that sphere which is how I was aware of roosh and the forum. During the 2016 election I felt the need to talk politics and culture with people who understood the woman question at the core of social change but weren’t blackpilled MGTOW idiots

Stumbled across The Four Hour Body in my local library -> Tim Ferriss' blog -> saw a comment from Mark Manson on there -> Mark Manson's blog (it had a different name at the time, can't remember what) -> RVF on the blog roll (at the time).

Several years of lurking before deciding to take the plunge.

Men are not creepy. Do you know what’s creepy? Spiders, because we don’t know how they move.

RE: How did you end up in Roosh V Forum?
At 16 I suddenly got the conception that "something was going on" and that whenever I watched the news I thought I was watching a cover-up for whatever is really going on. The only lead I had to alternative facts was that there was this guy called David Icke who thought the queen was a lizard. So I started there.

It took me about 9 months to read all of Icke's book, The Biggest Secret. The extent of my programming was such that I thought I might go insane from getting out of the narratives everyone lives within.

There's obviously quite a lot of questionable content in Icke's books and I know some of it is wrong. But to this day I find his metaphysical stuff to be useful; and like Jones, we are now living in much of his pre-2000 prediction while not in CNN-MSNBC-ABC's 2016 prediction razz

I have not been able to live in mainstream society as a normie since. Although given to left-wing grievance narratives as a youngster, as a way of explaining the world and how it relates to me, I was always against taxation. The best thing I could say about Icke is he broke down much of my conceptions of the world, so I could later re-build them much more based on what the parameters of the world actually are and not the erroneous mainstream narratives.

Somewhere around 25 I was turned on to Stefan Molyneux, who has a lot of good information on relationships. The red pill in terms of relationships started dropping there and it's something I started to think about.

But the real explosion came in 2015. I was in my late 20s at the time; and I've noted around that age that people seem to have a big period of introversion on their life direction, often accompanied with depression or mental breakdown. Mine was leaving the country indefinitely without a plan and living a bit on the edge. At the time there was the illegal migrant crisis, plus Brexit and later Trump.

I was at this guy's house in Greece and something about the Presidential debates came on. He told me he hated Donald Trump. I thought he seemed to have little weight to his argument, but I had no idea what was happening at the time. I just thought he was a real estate mogul.

I'd not really been consuming any media for months, but when I got back saw Alex Jones was maneuvering towards Trump. And a whole host of personalities were blowing up. Notably Gavin McInnes.

A pivotal moment was when I watched Gavin McInnes vs. Coppercab. At first I was a little taken back by his rawkus chauvinism. But I kept watching that video and all his other material. It was the moment I was red-pilled.

I was also hooked on watching the presidential debates, watching Trump steamroll Jeb! and others. I'd always liked certain uncompromising male figures, but I hadn't put all the pieces together.

Up to this point of my life I'd always been suppressing certain male urges, to act in a certain way. I was the opposite of black-pilled. I wasn't even really Mr. Nice, I wasn't on the board. The strange thing is though I always had an aversion to feminism and white knighting. Yet I essentially lived as if I was a top-tier victim of theirs.

So I started on no wanks and right about the same time Alex Jones was kicked off a bunch of advertising platforms so I got a bunch of Super Male Vitality and began glugging it heartily. I also started some light lifting. I completely changed and felt like I was walking around in a war time most of the time.

I had to sort the women part of my life out. Like the small trail that lead me to Icke, I knew there was this guy who was pro-rape called Roosh V. I'd read it on Snopes or something. I didn't know much else, so I signed up.

The forum is great. I think reading it changes me physiologically. Even if you are hanging around with a bunch of guys who slurp delicately from their Soylent, you can come here and expirience The Way of Men.

Right now there is obviously something serious going on with masculinity. Incels, soy boys, MGTOW, PUAs, chads, SMV cratering and so on.

One of the things I am most interested in is the veneration of Trump by 4chan-type geeks. It's a demographic of low-status guys who don't really know how to better themselves. They are more or less the lowest of the low in terms of mainstream society. Given the left's claim they are for the underclass, you'd expect them to want to do something for them. But the mainstream has nothing but contempt and disgust for them. These males don't have a mainstream political voice and will be banned.

Twenty years ago you would have thought that young male outsiders would have a photo of victim martyrs like chairman Mao on their wall, listening to RATM and buffer the Michael Moore lunch fund. But instead they've hitched themselves to a billionaire playboy who has it all.

I still don't really know what's going on.

RE: How did you end up in Roosh V Forum?
I hit rock bottom a couple years ago. While I was completely blue pilled in university, I managed to hook up with a new girl every couple months despite my lack of game. After university I broke up with the girl I had been seeing, moved across the country, lost my social circle, and put on some weight.

Fast forward a year and my ex-gf from university came to visit and stayed with me for a week. I had not had sex since I broke up with her over a year prior. I thought it was guaranteed that I would break my cold streak. She slept in my bed for an entire week and all I could do was get to second base with the girl that used to be in love with me.

A couple weeks after she left the meetup outrage happened. I started reading in the MSM about this rape advocate RooshV. I did some digging myself and discovered what bs it was. I've been reading the forum regularly ever since.

Big thanks to all the mayors of Canadian cities that helped me discover the red pill.

An old friend of mine wouldn't stop talking about some forum full of fags he was Cr33pin on. And then, at some point I met Fortis and he said, "Heeeeyyyyyy, were not gay. We're okay!" and convinced me to join the party. Turns out you're not all a bunch of fags.

Other stuff lead me to ROK and Bang etc. Wasn't interested in RVF for years because forums get a bit too involved and the ROK comments sections were on point before the Disqus debacle. Lurked here for quite a while before signing up because I wanted to throw Roosh some cash for the work (and for anyone who hasn't paid for the membership, just do it. You're more than likely getting value 10X of what you pay).

I was horny at my office job, jerking off in the bathroom 2 times out a day out of boredom. Finally googled "how to pick up [asian] girls" and "how to get latinas" and all other kinds of newbery. Ended up here. Started getting girls and staying drunk with them till 6 in the morning when I had work at 8. After being late so many times I was "setting a bad example for other employees" (my work was always on point). I got canned. I don't think they ever saw an extremely hungover, freshly laid, zero fucks given web developer get fired and sign the papers without frowning or stopping smiling before because my boss couldn't stop staring at me. I was just like "is that it? We good?" Grabbed my shit and left. The next week I came and picked up my final check with a thottie waiting in the car flirted with the receptionist and drove off. Haven't looked back. I work for myself now

RE: How did you end up in Roosh V Forum?
Never seen this thread before.

So here it is: how did I found Roosh V forum?

I've heard it on the news that this american guy wanna to make some 'conferences/meet ups' around the world and maybe also in my country to 'legalize rape' I paid no mind to it because as we all know right now "fake news". But then again I thought maybe there is really an american guy who thinks rape should be legal who knows... Still I wouldn't dwelve on that issue.

Fast forward some time and I came across the infamous article "24 reasons she's a slut" and I bursted laughing, started readind RoK and even showned the article to many people. One guy was outraged, told me "man my girl has tatoos are you saying she's a slut?!" I said "no man I just thought that article is funny, don't worry" Turns out the girl was a slut alright.

Reading RoK I stumbled across some references to the "rape apologist" and "free speech isn't free" then I realized that that bearded guy on RoK was the american 'rape apologist' from the news!

Started to get bored with RoK articles, found the forum, lurked for sometime and decided to be a member. Had no intention to post, just read you guys and learn from it.

Maybe I can add some value to the forum in the future. This is the best 'mens magazine' I've ever came across. Apart from the trolls I really appreciate the brutal honesty of the posters in here. I'm only a member of 2 internet forums and I will only post in this one.
