I first heard about Roosh earlier this year when the shitstream media in my home country ran a report on a " anti - feminist - pro rape pick up artist" that was planning on meeting with his fellow "rapists" in Brussels.

Turned out i've read some of his articles before aswell as this forum, i'm a remote worker/freelancer who likes to travel, so i read alot of travel forums but none are as extensive and about banging exotic tail as this one. I also like the political and social opinions Roosh and (i assume) many members here hold. Individuals like this are scarce in my personal life.

I signed up today because i think i can be of value to this forum. I also hope to meet some cool people because this lifestyle, whilst i have lots of freedom and women, can get boring.

Been into pickup for many many years got really good... Moved to a new country... Game got horribly sloppy and disorganized.

Reading and participating again made me realize new countries to visit and helped get my game back on track.

Started reading in 2012. I was shy and unconfident and dating a fat rude girl who I realized I couldn't stand. Broke her heart and moved to europe. Dated around few years, doubled my notch count, met a really quality girl who I ended up going back to the USA for. Still dig reading the Travel thread and living vicariously through you guys since I absolutely hate it here. Dream every day of leaving my shitty corporate day job and moving abroad again. Ah, well.

I came across the manosphere two years ago, when I was reading the off topic forum of a completely unrelated website. There was a small reference on a relationship thread to Return of Kings, and I explored from there. Boy, were my eyes opened to the real state of male-female social dynamics.

I pole vaulted across a few websites until I found my way here. I asked a girl out and got burned bad. I went through almost every single mistake in one go in texting, asking girls for advice, and getting too attached too early on. After taking a step back and realizing feeling this way did not seem normal to me, I started researching and looking around for competent dating advice. Unfortunately, I blew money on a few scams out of desperation and almost bought into RSD until I ended up here when someone posted a link to ROK.

I'm still finding my grounding and it's been a bumpy ride thus far, but now I feel like I'm starting on the right track.

Ultimately, I got into the Red Pill through Vox Day back in 2008, when as a college student I picked up a copy of The Irrational Atheist by chance at a bookstore. This later led me to Roissy/Heartiste.

While I recognize the value of pickup advice and learned a lot of useful stuff from reading Roissy and others in the 'sphere, I never really paid Roosh much attention until he launched Return Of Kings. I've been a regular reader since and have found Roosh's continued intellectual journey quite compelling. This forum is, for me, the premier community to follow socio-political events and get good commentary/analysis. I post relatively little compared to the volume of posts here that I read, as I find I don't have much to contribute to sections like Game and Travel.

Rollo Tomassi wrote a spinoff blog post based off something he saw here. When he quoted the Rooshv forum I came here out of curiosity, and haven't read his blog much since. I like his writing, but the forum here is more positive than what I got out of his comment sections.

I was aware of Roosh long before that but didn't know about the forum.

I found solveMyGirlProblems after a breakup. Found Roisey on that blog which inevitably lead to rooshv.com. I remember being skeptical of the first few articles I read here (beards, baking soda, and no deodorant???) but I kept reading and eventually bought day bang.

My first exposure to red pill stuff was reading Robin Baker's "Sperm Wars" during my pledge term in college, when an upperclassman friend made me read it.

Fast forward a few years to the start of my senior year. I have everything going for me. Frat exec, leader on a national championship contending D1 sports team, popular, etc - when I get falsely accused of sexual assault.

Immediately got kicked out of my fraternity as well as my sports team with no trial, just internal tribunals consisting of my so called friends, who took in zero input from me, and I never even got to hear the charges! (To this day I have never read what the girl said, and don't know what the charges actually were.) Kicked off because I would make girls feel "uncomfortable" and they didn't want to deal with the consequences (no spine).

I went to a small college, and was fairly well known, so (muddled) word got around. I walked around everyday like a rapist. I became a loner, started drinking excessively, and became depressed and even suicidal.

Same friend from earlier who had now graduated (and whom many forum members as well as Roosh have now met) introduces me to Mike's "Danger and Play" website - thus saving my life. From there I start following the recommended links in the sidebar, and am introduced to Roissy, Roosh's blog, and from there to the forum. Mike and Roosh's stories about rough sex, being accused of rape, what women really want, the cancer that is feminism, etc, kept me sane - it reaffirmed that I wasn't the crazy one, the majority of people were!

I got back to training and I was probably in the best overall shape (god like) of my life at this point (I started smoking cigarettes later).

I made a forum account after a few months of lurking, but didn't really start posting till many months later.

The whole incident put my life back 3 years, and it wasn't till last year that I fully got over it (not just mentally, but in real terms - but the two are linked I think); but the forum's help through it all was immeasurable.

(I still ended up getting laid a bunch that year, but that's the power of game.)

My older brother got me books like "No More Mr. Nice Guy", "Bachelor Pad Economics" and "The Rational Male" and I started to read them. He told me about Return of Kings and I've been reading for about a year now. I've mostly read the Politics part of this forum because I heard about the Wikileaks incident. Most of my other friends got their feelings hurt by Trump even though they talk like red pillers at times.

I'm going to get back to my Game because I need to.

Early last year, I was on Reddit reading a thread and someone mentioned Dread Game. I had no idea what this was, so I used THE GOOGLE and it led me to a post from The Red Pill subreddit. It was like a light going off. I soaked up so much information from the sub which also led me to discover Rollo and his blog as well as this forum.

I enjoy this place the best because it's so full of personal stories and experiences. I learn something new everyday from the wise posters here.
