Liberals open to civilized discourse? That's rich. The same quest that has claimed hundreds of millions of lives all for muh progress.

I hate what Christianity has become, but before it was engulfed and hollowed out by liberalism, it employed many of the greatest thinkers and scientists of the Middle Ages and beyond whose work made possible modern technological and scientific advancements.

The authorities are still going through extraordinary lengths to recover the body. Why do they do this? It is just a corpse. Why doesn't someone just say they aren't going to disturb the area and that is their policy? How many ways does this tribe have to say that they don't want intruders. Clearly, this tribe is more pure and wise in its actions than the authorities. A real condemnation on modernity.

There are scientists who claim that eating cooked food has permanently changed the DNA of humans. Killing in the name of Christ is a fairly irrelevant point to even consider; people have been killed in the name of every political and religious ideology known to man. Patently untrue, there were many persian intellectuals, however, "arabs" did contribute massively.. off the top of my head: Ibn al haytham ("the father of modern optics"), Al-Zahrawi (father of surgery), Al-Idrisi (top-tier geographer and polymath), Al-Jazari (mechanics), Al-Kindi (thank him for musical notation) etc. were all Arab and imcidently all of their work has great bearing on modern science - just as the work of previous civilizations had on them Regardless of race, the fact is that islamic rule enabled an environment of development.

Claiming that a high achiever was so because religion X paved the way is horse shit. Both islamic AND christian theocracies have had remarkable records of murdering anyone operating outside of the ignorant status quo, and other religions are typically just as guilty.

Al-Idrisi - living under Normann rule of Sicily
Al-Jazari - born in Turkey, serving a turkish ruler (most likely a turk himself)
Al-Kindi - seemingly an arab living in Bagdad

None of the first 3 most important you mention lived in Arabia or the Middle East. It is well known that the Moors in Spain were different than their arab counterparts, not least because they were made up of a significant white Berber population.
