RE: Is South Africa on the path to becoming the next Zimbabwe?
Yes, RSA will blame the boers. But they'll be another failed african country. They will end up like the other countries you mentioned, Venezuela, Zimbabwe, but, yea...those countries have never been of interest to the West in terms of political intervention so why should RSA be?

I don't view the lack of intervention as whites in the west being too afraid to voice their opinion.
There will be some news coverage and some travel warnings will be issued, but that's honestly it.

Serious question.

Aloha!

Serious answer: If you are dark skinned but not a Xhosa, a Zulu or a Sesotho and are seen to be enjoying life better than them in their land then..

well ask the Cape Coloureds, ask the Indians, specifically ask the Mozambicans and the Ndebele who went there to work from their neighbouring countries what might happen.

Ask the black African immigrant the police handcuffed to the back of their wagon and dragged around the city streets in broad daylight while others filmed it.

Or.. wait no, I think he's dead... Confused

What's up (((media))), you sure love to show pictures of sad children to push a cause.

Why don't you show the pictures of disenfranchised white children in South Africa, put into literal concentration camps (again):

The whites think they are clever.
They created a system where they were totally in control, creating a syndrome of dependency by the once self suffient Blacks by concentrated all the poor Blacks into a tiny area and established industry and gigantic farms for themselves. When the Blacks say its time to go back to Europe, the whites want to cry foul about who will plant all the crops and you will starve etc etc. As if to say when they landed unannounced and uninvited and unwelcome they found Africans eating rocks.

/\ You need to educate yourself on the real facts of SA History rather than the Marxist 'white devil' version.

Yes, it’s worked out really well in Zimbabwe hasn’t it.

RE: Is South Africa on the path to becoming the next Zimbabwe?
Good grief. A couple things folks need to realize:

1. No land has been targeted or taken yet. They are drafting a constitutional amendment to do so, primarily because the ANC fears losing votes to the EFF and others in elections next year.

2. The White farm murders, while horrible and should have been tackled better head on by the government, are often used by WS like Black on White murders are hyped in the USA. SA has one of the world's highest murder rates. Thousands of Blacks in townships and other areas are killed, often in the same brutal ways White farmers are.

3. The White farmers own lobby (AgriSA) states 47 White farmers were killed last year. This is down 2/3 from the peak in the 90s right after Apartheid ended. Again, not good and I wish no one harm but being worried about that while thousands of Blacks die in the same homicide wave is pretty telling.

4. While I want more land back with the Black Africans all this emotional kick Whites/Indians out crap isn't right. No African nation is served by not addressing the inequities created by colonialism but it also isn't served by turning its back on the rights of citizens and giving them that work just because of race.

5. Land reform in Africa has nowhere approached the crap other nations in Europe and Asia got away with against Germans and Japanese. I don't support the violence but acting like Africans are some unique savages in what they are trying to do is horseshyt.

6. I need to see a plan about training and financing poor Blacks to do large scale agriculture before anyone gets any land. Not because I don't want land reform to happen---I do but it gets screwed up when untrained and underfunded people get thrown on the land like in Zim. We'd be better off having the Brazilians train a bunch of folks, getting them started on land in Zim and other countries like Ethiopia and Tanzania to help them get back up to speed and then they'd be ready to use land in SA to its full potential.

Taking land is the LAST step in a successful land reform program. We should have like a 10 year plan, not some rush and grab joint.

7. This whole thing started when a group from SA, the Institute for Race Relations visited the Cato Institute, a libertarian think tank in DC, and gave a talk predicted food security collapse and social chaos if land reform went through. Tucker Carlson interviewed someone from Cato and then tweeted and here we are.

RE: Is South Africa on the path to becoming the next Zimbabwe?
The biggest downfall will be the idea that collectivist farming will be the answer if they do manage to kick all the whites off.

Farming is a trade that needs a patriarch. Someone who can lead in lean times, and make good decisions in times of plenty. Farming is a long term operation, with future generations taken into account. If these newly minted land barons are looking for a quick buck, then its only a matter of time before we are air dropping food into SA.

Collectivist farming with equal say only ends up with everyone's hand in the profits during the good times, and everyone stabbing each other in the back during the lean times. This land appropriation will create an insane amount of jealousy between the blacks themselves, which will create even bigger problems than current levels of hostility toward the whites.

I say this growing up very close to the Mennonite community. As collectivist as they are, decisions are 100% from the top down.

I don't know why these guys are so quick to want to be farmers.

It's hard work being a farmer. Get up early, toil in the fields, work all day long, constantly fixing something. It's not a job for most people.

If they were smart, they'd just tax them more.

Hard to turn up uninvited, when there is no body to acknowledge your landing there.

Otherwise, he'll lose his 35+% black approval and make blacks enthusiastically vote against him. One of the main reasons he destroyed the MidWest's blue wall was blacks failing to turn out to vote.

Well, time to man up and admit that I was WRONG.

Yes - but it's hardly White on black crime. Strange how under Apartheid the murder rate even among blacks was infinitely lower.

To address inequities, then going Zimbabwe is not going to cut it. The old South African tribes who were in South Africa when the Europeans settled are still partly there. Otherwise most moved there later because it was better to work for the White man than to live under the Bantus and other tribes.

5. Land reform in Africa has nowhere approached the crap other nations in Europe and Asia got away with against Germans and Japanese. I don't support the violence but acting like Africans are some unique savages in what they are trying to do is horseshyt.

What are you blabbering about? What has WWII to do with it? And take note - the "inequities" of land how they were addressed in Europe.

6. I need to see a plan about training and financing poor Blacks to do large scale agriculture before anyone gets any land. Taking land is the LAST step in a successful land reform program. We should have like a 10 year plan, not some rush and grab joint.

So take it later - Whites who lived on the land for longer than the blacks? Besides - who tells you that commercial farming will be done as well as by the Whites? Most farmers in SA are black, but they are overwhelmingly subsistence farmers - the same farmers that were left after the frequent violent forays of the Bantus which had almost depopulated the old South Africa. It's an entirely different thing to commercially successfully farm.

Also - what the fuck is the big deal with farming as if the entire wealth is in farms. It seems that they are obsessed with marxist talking points and "taking back our land" and some bullshit.

If they wanted to get more out of it, then they could attempt to tax bigger farmers more.

Bullshit - this has been going on for decades. You only need to go down the thread - I posted multiple stats on how life for blacks in SA deteriorated since the end of Apartheid.

And don't take me wrong - Whites have not much option then to sell their shit and leave. You will then subsequently tank that country to the ground like you did with Zimbabwe. Enjoy.

Somehow you did not see Zimbabwe go back to a system where 90% of the population was engaged in fucking agriculture or hunter/gatherer survival.

I am sure that you will BE MUCH BETTER OFF WHEN WHITEY HAS LEFT. Finally true Wakanda can be manifested.

RE: Is South Africa on the path to becoming the next Zimbabwe?
You are posting vids of that marxist genocidal buffoon - teach us about White Privilege.

Most land was stolen from someone. Who created and built South Africa? That is more the issue since SA had the highest living standards in Africa for a while. And if you knew old AFrican lore and customs then you would know that there was not even ownership of the land - anyone could move around, but you had to accept the rule of a chief in a land - pay him tribute and do his bidding. The conflicts thus arose more not out of contention over land, but over contention over who was in charge. Conquest is always a questionable thing there for sure - there was a lot of conquering going on in Europe as well. Currently we have simply decided to let the old wounds heal and move forward. You won't "balance inequities" by grabbing land. That is not how things will work.

It's useless to debate those things because you are a marxist who will enjoy the total collapse of South Africa.

How about you go up to Zimbabwe and farm the land there? There is plenty unused one. Most of Africa's land is hardly used. Ever flown across Europe and saw that they use almost every square inch? Europe is tiny, but they feed half of Africa on top of themselves.

Seize your means of production, then go seize the mines and buildings, show us how you will make it. Meanwhile slaughter some more babies and women, because it's so civilized - cooking them alive, raping the women.

Probably most places in the world have been conquered at various times. If you conquer a country it is yours.

Also the Africans weren't doing anything with the land (agriculture etc.)

Maybe the US should give the land back to the natives and we can enjoy Armageddon a few days after the world completely destabilizes.

Interesting.

The Bushmen the Dutch met, when they landed in South Africa, were few in number, and living a Paleolithic existence. Whatever farming was done was on the subsistence level.

South Africa (same issue with Rhodesia / Zimbabwe) required the domestication of work animals (per-industrialization) and irrigation (wells, canals, reservoirs). The former the Bantus (who rules South Africa now.. and who pretty much killed off the Bushmen that the Dutch bought their land from) never did the former and didn't have the technological prowess to do the latter. The Bantus only were able to move into South Africa when the Dutch and the English made it so that it could support large scale agriculture.

Zimbabwe became a food importer because the black Africans that took over the farms let the land devolve into Serengeti or at best, farmed them at a subsistence level (the farmers ate... the people in the cities starved).

Much of Africa is kept alive by foreign aid, market dominate minorities (Whites, Indians, Chinese), and trade. Lose all three and Africa will take a long march through the Valley of Death.. as the continent de-populates.. but not after the mega-fauna are exterminated for food.

If the Zulus want land back that the Boers have lived on since 1652, then we might as well ask for Istanbul back from the Turks (1453).

Cape Town was founded as a colony only 50 years after Jamestown, which means you might as well ask every non-native american in the US to pack their bags and go home.

Careful what you say. Canada and New Zealand are doing exactly this.

Here in BC, our communist government has not ruled out letting the natives have all say over the land. So far its all been in the form of kickbacks and bribes, but as things tend to go, it will be about productive land, industrial projects and even cities. The largest land deals in Canadian history have involved the 'giving back' of land to the Indians. The latest land deal is in one of the most expensive neighborhoods in the world, and the Indians were given what will probably be worth billions of dollars.

This is while we have money to give. Most are on welfare, which is a double punch to the Canadians.

So while I know you were joking, its actually a lot further along in former colonies than you might think.

Exhibit A: the fact the word 'you' is being used in that sentence, given the 'stolen' part happened several centuries ago.

Thought experiment-

Should South Africans who were not in "South Africa" (arbitrary borders created by white people) at the time the Europeans stole their land, benefit from the nationalization of the foregoing land?

Let us pretend for a moment that the natives codified and recorded things such as real property before the Europeans came.
