As for happiness before Whites - African tribes constantly conquered each other and internal slavery was very common. Actually I'll add to that, because Botswana is an excellent example of how liberal PC views held back a country from going Wakanda.

They had good cash-flow from diamonds for decades, they had a smart shitlord who was obviously ethical enough. Since they invest 9% of their GDP in education, then they are actually doing as much as anyone can do based on the usual liberal "we-are-all-equal" mindset. Instead of blindly investing in education as the liberal consultants have told them, he should have invested in a positive eugenics program based on IQ tests - smartest men encouraged to take 5 wives and have as many kids as possible living in state-funded luxury. For the humbler people - offer them extra cash after giving birth to two kids, so that they don't have more. All of it should be absolutely voluntary. And if a high-IQ refuses to get married and have kids, then he gets a 70% tax rate, that should teach him to start impregnating pronto.

Let us make this clear once again:

Most of the blacks who moved to South Africa came so after Whites had made it a livable place. They also came for the jobs, because living as an employee for the colonizers was better than living in "freedom" among the Africans. The same happend to Rhodesia - the terrain used by Whites mostly was not even desirable to the Africans and that is why hardly any Africans lived there. And most later came also for the jobs.

The Bantus and other more aggressive tribes made frequent forays into the regions that is now called South Africa. It was depopulated back then. In addition in Africa they did not have so much ownership of land - when you settled in a region it was just understood that you pay tribute and accept the superiority of a local chief or some tribe - even one living far away. That is when the conflicts started and usually it involved Whites fighting alongside other African tribes - those tribes happily used the military of the Whites for their goals. My bet is that some of those old African families still own a chunk of the land and wealth in South Africa (though keeping wealth beyond 3 generations is not easy)

Initially South Africa was 50% White - should have carved off the terrain, wished the other Africans good luck, left them plenty of good land and then had a strict "Whites Only" policy in the entire country.

Now it's too late - Russia, Australia or emigration is their best option.
