This woman had it coming-she did(violent) yoga, was an(illegal?) immigrant, was(verbally) abusive to police (police are never, ever wrong), was a leftist agitator, and a WNB over 40 woman. Thank god this brave police officer shot this unarmed, female , threat to society-we should all support this officer and his heroic actions. Unarmed ,white, female yoga instructors have been gentrifying poor inner city neighborhoods with impunity for too long- this evil woman was also probably vegan and contributing to animal overpopulation. However, the Minneapolis Star-Tribune newspaper has reported, through three sources, that Damond, 40, was in her pajamas when shot and was speaking to Noor’s partner at the time through the window of a police car in which Noor was allegedly a passenger.

“Three sources with knowledge of the incident said Sunday that two officers in one squad car, responding to the 911 call, pulled into the alley. Damond, in her pajamas, went to the driver’s side door and was talking to the driver. The officer in the passenger seat pulled his gun and shot Damond through the driver’s side door, sources confirmed. No weapon was found at the scene,” the Star Tribune reported.

Her fiancee, Don Damond, said in a news conference that she had called to report a potential sexual assault.

CBS Minneapolis reports that Noor has an attorney, Tom Plunkett. The television station reported that Damond “made the 911 call and was speaking to police officers Saturday night. They were near the alley when the officer in the passenger seat reached across and shot her. A cell phone was found near Damond’s body…”

Noor’s partner was allegedly “stunned” when Noor opened fire, KARE11 reported through a source.

According to The Star-Tribune, he was named in a December divorce action. The Star Tribune reported that “Noor was described in divorce documents filed in December as a caring, involved father who was at times consumed by the demands of his job.”

His defense will probably be he thought she was carrying a gun, not a cell phone. And he was too distraught from his divorce to think straight.

In this case, I would bet there was some aspect of the divorce which was coming to a head, and had his amygdala in high gear – and in this case firing off a threat stimulus and triggering action when it shouldn’t have. When he saw another agitated woman he was overtaken with rage and a sense of threat, and that helped trigger the events. There is no way to tell now, but I would not be surprised. Everything cognitive is the amygdala-mechanism.

The fact is that despite police protests about how they're assumed guilty when something goes wrong THEY are the ones most resistant to having to document their entire shifts for reasons that everyone else in society is painfully aware of.

I conservatively estimate that if perpetual surveillance of the cops themselves became a reality then between ten and twenty percent of police would quietly find a convenient excuse to quit the force, and frankly the force would be better off without those particular cops.

I'm not sure about other countries but solely video would not work for the American justice system. You need written facts to substantiate a charge, decide bail or even read from defendant pleads no contest. Try saying "watch the video" to a judge and defense attorney when on the stand testifying, it's not going to be pretty.

Moving on to cameras being recording the whole time. Look at it from a slimy defense attorney's viewpoint. You arrest their client so they request all your video for the past year(which can be done under FOIA). Has anyone here not said something while at the job or commuting that could be taken out of context by the media/SJW attorney. I can see it now, a defense attorney attacking officer on stand because he said he voted for Trump and that's why he arrested his Mexican client for rape. Or the music the officer listen too has "homophobic" lyrics and that's why he targeted the tranny exposing himself in the wrong bathroom. I like cameras for evidence of arrests and to show it was done professionally. I wouldn't want people hearing my choice in patrol car music or certain "non-pc" phone calls.

Also good luck uploading 8-12 hours of video in 10 minutes.
