I happen to agree with this sentiment 100% under normal circumstances. But on Mon-Thurs. my day is wake up at 6AM, work until 3pm and then culinary school from 3.30PM to 9.30PM and I had just walked in my door at a little past 10PM when she initially texted me. It was almost 11 when I was walking out the door so I wasn't really in prime shape and truly was exhausted (and she thinks she had a long day!). I was literally forcing myself to go and really didn't want to if it wasn't a sure thing. Maybe these are just excuses and I should have gone?

Time will tell if I blew it and I'll let you guys know. But I do plan on still trying to game her so I thought just ignoring it would be the best response. But I appreciate the info and insight. Cheers mate.

I like the flake response suggestions of either:

1) Escalate
2) Silence
Because they either require you to not act afraid of her (escalation) or to at least be in control enough to feign indifference ( silence).

If you try to fabricate some snide stuff, give her an insulting "comeback" you risk just sounding bitter and weak. A blatant come-on indicates you find her attractive but aren't going to be deferential at all.

I've reversed this. I'm a flake. I make plans and just do whatever the fuck I want and maybe may return a text if I'm bored and have no other girls to fuck with.
I made two dates for later tonight in the last hour and I'm not going on either. I will just go out with no regard for blowing anyone off and do exactly whatever I feel like doing minute to minute.
I will hit the fuckyou button on my phone if called and may text back "what" hours later or "you out?"
Maybe I may run into a girl that made plans with me at the wrong time tonight. Who knows?
I will not restart text. No longer my job. I blew you off remember?
I started this two weeks ago. I invited two girls to pick me up and go out and got bored while waiting and just left and went out and haven't looked back since.
This started due to a flood or hot streak that manifested from gaming over the last few months. I was going on one date and if I couldn't close. I went flake including responding to two day old texts at 3am with off topic responses.

Accumulate a lot of hot lizards. The more lizard dates you have, the less of a shyt you will give when some flake.

The other night, a lizard flaked on me. I was actually overbooked and overworked so I welcomed the cancellation so I could catch up on some sleep. I went to sleep without concern.
