Hilarious. I have two dates scheduled for Thursday because I am assuming one of them will flake. The best way to get girls to not flake is to get as far with them as you can the first time you meet them. These two girls I talked to for like 5 minutes each before getting their numbers and they are both pretty hot, so at least one flake is almost certain..

I was too annoyed to retort since this chick initiated contact in the first place and suggested the day. Suffice it to say that she will not be hearing from me again.

Do you guys differentiate between girls flaking in Europe/N.America and South America? I mean if a girl would flake on me in Europe, I would be a lot tougher on her, because its not common or 'part of the culture'. In S. America it is so common though, I truly feel it happens to the best of them and for instance family plays a larger role (girl can't come because of family visit which is serious issue, girl can't come because father does not allow her and shes living at homr, etc.). Or am I looking at the the wrong way and should you just be equally harsh to flakers anywhere in the world?

I do feel like going to start flaking myself a lot, although it is completely not in my character. Anyone has some good experience with this? Do you ever lose hot girls for flaking on them or does it just increase interest?

Unlike most of my brethern if a chick flakes on me, I don't give her another chance. It's a sign of low interest and disrespect unless the chick makes a counter-offer which is strong then I might for instance. A girl's basement flooded this is a good reason. Even though I was skeptical but she came over two days later with a bottle of "Grey Goose" and gave me a fantastic blow jobs. Another time is when a girl drove 2 hours both ways to have a 30 minute lunch with me whilst at work

Last night I was supposed to meet up with one of my regulars. At the last minute, she texted me "I'm soo sorry! I have to babysit. I'll be over tmrw" and I didn't reply. I went on Facebook and one of her friends tagged her in a status saying "Going out with my girls later " I didn't really care at first, but the fact that she blatantly lied got me angry so this morning I texted her "So, how did babysitting go?" and this is the conversation that followed.

her: "It wasn't bad; they kept me up all night"
me: "I bet they did. So much for babysitting at a club"

her: "I'm sorry ok? I hadn't seen my friend in a while and she wanted to go out"

I love how she tries to call me that to make up for her flakiness. Then when I saw her at my store two weeks later (I deleted her number by the way), she (no surprise) lost track of time, and said that if we were to hang out, it would have to be closer to where she lives.

Fuck. That. Shit. This bitch has a damn Mercedes-Benz and has money for gas, but whatever. Oh well, other fish in the sea.

I had probably the worst flake when I was a terrible beta 4 years ago. There was this girl and I invited her (by facebook) for a coffee. At 2 PM (if I recall correctly). By 3 (or 4 PM) she sent me a message that she couldn't make it (sick). That night, I chatted with another colleague that told me that at that time she was attending a conference. I rescheduled for the next week, at the exact same time.

This time I didn't go to the café. Odds told me (at that time) that she'll come but I didn't want to go. So I didn't go, and I got no messages/calls. Later that night, I sent her a message that she should apologize if she can't make it. She called and she apologized that she was sick again. I accepted her apology in a good faith.

A year later, I began to see things clearer. I know BullShit and I know RealShit and I know that you can fuck up. And I'm the one losing here.

1-2 hours prior to the date, I send a text message asking for confirmation "meeting at xyz, please confirm". If I get no confirmation, the date is cancelled.

All dates (unless it's a girl I trust her words) are treated equal. They are not dates until the confirmation is made, and my life should go exactly as there is nothing planned.
