Almost all of the game literature that I've seen focuses on approaching and gaming girls who are complete strangers. However, if you guys are anything like me, then you regularly encounter attractive young women at the businesses and institutions you frequent as you go about your daily life -- at the bank, the gym, the tanning salon, the library, and so on. I am always tempted to flirt with these girls, but the AA is even more daunting than usual due to the fact that if I were to get blown out, our future encounters (of which there will be many) would be awkward. So what strategies do you guys suggest for working around this? How do I ask out the cute bank teller? There must be something better than throwing caution to the wind and switching banks if it goes badly.

Why would you switch banks? Over awkwardness?

One day you will brush your teeth with awkwardness, bathe in awkardness, love awkardness; as it's an emotion just like any other - an opening if played correctly.

You game them just like any other girl, in some states/countries they have the right to deny you service. Get past their fake serviceworker niceness and it's game on.

Also use the search function, there is a ton of threads on waitresses, start there.

Why should talking to then put you at risk of changing companies?

1. Talk to her casually
2. Figure out if she is single/available/into you
3. Either go for it or befriend her to network

You may make it awkward if you hit in her from the grt go in a bad way. You will be put in a box then and that may affect your future encounters.

If done properly approaches are perceived as compliments even if the target is unavailable. Nothing wrong with or awkward about a compliment

I've had zero success doing this, yet have had success doing pretty much everything else. The only time I really get hit with the boyfriend bomb is when I try to do what O.P. is proposing. I have no idea why.

I've done it at my local liquor store.

You start off talking to them and build rapport by chatting each time you go in.
Drop interesting info about yourself so they get curious and ask about it.

It takes a long time. I've suggested a date and got the phone number and then you just carry on the conversation via text/phone.

I've been let down after that about some going back to an ex boyfriend bs at a later date but that's another issue.

You have to read how busy or how unbusy she is. If a girl is bored at her job, she will embrace anything that kills the boredom. If she is busy, she will just see you as a pest.

I had a friend years ago whom I would call when she worked nights as a hotel receptionist. She had nothing to do and was all by herself, so we would talk for hours.

One time, I was at the gym. A girl working behind the counter just said, "I'm bored." Well, I started talking to her.
