Hey, NYC Early/Mid 20's dude trying to get back into game, but want to do a lot of it after work. I do game on weekends, but I stopped doing it because doing it on weekends got old. Also committing to too many projects, which need to be done on weekends.


Work M-F from 9-6/7pm with just a 35-40 min lunch break. Short break = no time for lunch game. Tried mornings doing Street Approach, but the response rate is so low. Think girls are too tired early in the morning to be approached. I also live an hr away from work, so I can't stick around till 1am in the morning.

Any good spots to game on Weekday nights? Lots of suggestions for game are more geared toward weekends or lunch.

Coffee shops all close really early (6-7pm) in the city. Most women in the streets at that time (at least where I'm at) are either in dates or definitely older than me doing shopping. Seems like most younger girls don't shop as often, which makes sense since younger women have less disposable income. Don't see too many women in their early 20's hit up bars post work.

Anyone have any good spots/suggestions/neighborhoods that have a good Early/mid 20's ratio that have good prospects 7-10 on a weekday discounting clubs/bars? Brooklyn especially (Though south of Downtown - I live near Brighton so Williamsburgh/Bushwick is a PITA to get back/to...).

If I'm wrong about mornings, suggestions also welcome.

Why don't you try approaching on the subway? You mentioned you have an hour long commute. Roosh devotes a good chunk of Day Bang to public transportation approaches.

Where I live, we don't have a subway, so my public transportation approaches are on buses. I'll admit that conversion rates to dates from numbers I get on the bus are low, maybe 10 or 15%. But if I'm on the bus anyway...I might as well at least open her.

Here are five openers you can use for the subway:

1. Smartphone
2. Fashion "Cousin about your age with similar style..."
3. Do you know "exactly" where the train is going?
4. Excuse me, is that a good game?
5. I can hear your music a little and it sounds interesting. What's the name of the singer?

Then ramble. Maybe you can tell her you read an article (there was recently one in the New Yorker) about the guy behind the "Stand Clear of the Closing Doors" voice. And maybe you make a joke that you kind of wish it was Batman's voice instead.

Find out early in the conversation where she's getting off. If it's close to where you're getting off, make sure you get off with her. You do this in order to continue the conversation outside the train. Ramble about something.

That's one thing that has helped my conversion rates from buses. Get off at the same stop so WE CAN CONTINUE TALKING, even if only a minute that is sufficient. It's like a mini venue change.

Tell her "I enjoyed chatting with you. Do you want to continue this conversation some other time?" Then let her respond. "Cool. I can put your number in my phone."

There are plenty of coffee shops open after work hours. New York women drink coffee 24 hours a day.

Bryant park: lots of activity after work. There are clothing stores in the area and the subway is close.

Find a good whole foods. Plenty of girls do grocery shopping after work.
