I'm not sure where I stated he was logical. He went straight to the Final Solution, skipping everything else which could avoid such an end.

Can we at least agree that posting a thread in praise of some weirdo with the appearance of Saruman The White and the political views of Adolf Hitler is not a great way to present ourselves to men who would be good additions to the community?

Basically because those are comically-stupid looks that have hundreds or thousands of years of tradition behind them, while his comically-stupid look seems to have been primarily sourced from 2nd edition Dungeons and Dragons. Something like that.

I have no idea what these "neo-pagan" folks think Western civilization has to gain from all this. How does dressing up in druid costumes and howling at the moon do anything for us? What did posting a social media rant like that and getting locked up accomplish? What has he done to help men, today?

At least the angsty teens have the excuse of naivety.

Nothing wrong with doing it for yourself, if that's what you wanna do. Dress up like a druid and pray to the Old Gods all day until Hell freezes over if that's what you like. But imagining it's part of anything larger seems silly.

^^In a vacuum the appearance and customs of fundamentalist Jews and Muslims are no less ridiculous than this guy's, but the former have the mitigating consideration that they were raised that way and practically forced to follow those traditions. The Pagan guy likely became that way all by himself, which convinces me that he's loony.

I've worn suits and sportcoats from time to time my entire life, and don't find them particularly odd. If I were suddenly dropped in from some stone-age culture I'm sure I would.

My family has probably been some variant of English or Scottish Christian (and then American) going back to Roman times, which isn't unusual, but if I suddenly started dressing like a 13th century monk...

Basically it's a tough row to hoe to "reboot" a religion that for the most part, died out - usually because like species there are good or at least explainable reasons that they did. I'm not sure if doing that or just starting from scratch is the easier option. Someone ask L Ron Hubbard.

I see many guys here have biased and low information view on paganism, as someone who has looked into it I can tell you that it makes much more sense for a modern human who seeks ways to balance civilized lifestyle with harmony with nature (including his inner masculine or feminine nature) then schizoid religions like Islam which only fuel fear and violence.

I am 95% sure what this guy actually said was something much more moderate like "Islam and Judaism is not natural for white Germans, paganism is much better, illegal immigrants should be sent out of country" But what then happened is that press and media took it and made him look like literally Hitler who wants to send out anyone who is not supportive of paganism.

Think about it - the press calls Trump literally Hitler for merely wanting to stop illegal immigration, the press calls Roosh a rapist for merely teaching men how to gain consent of sex from women, but despite this you trust press to depict this guys views accurately and accept what they write about him, that he is a loony literally Hitler without further research?

Is he strategically holding his tongue not bashing Christians? Many neopagans hate Christians just as much/if not more than Jews or Muslims, especially if they are hard core extreme white nationalists. Christianity is in its totality is basically reformist paganized Judaism. There is a very good reason why reformist Jews (early Christians/Greek Jews) had the one up over Jews and Pagans, degeneracy was forbidden and it let to state building that Pagans and the old Jewish guard were opposed to. As a secular Jew ,I culturally identity more with Christianity, especially after reading more into the story of Hannukah and the roots of how anachronistic Judaism today is. For me Paganism has its own set of problems ,some close to the problems Judaism has.

Media(cough cough ARD) and Der Schuldkomplex is a huge problem I agree, but in terms of practicality...? Theres a small community of Jews in Germany (mostly immigrants from the FSU who will vote for the AfD) who will disappear eventually by marrying out to Germans or ethnic slavs and a large and growing community of muslims of various backgrounds. Not many in Europe I see converting to neopaganism anytime soon.

Are you an expert on a real Indo European paganism? If so then please educate us with differences and commonalities in these two forms of paganism?
