RE: Pagan Priest calls for Removal Jews and Muslims from his Native Germany
Paganism historically is the beliefs and morality of the warrior caste.
Paganism follows a single evolution:
1) Worship of the Sun, Moon, elementals
2) Worship of fertility, farming: Njord, Titans, Cronus
3) Worship of Indo-European warrior gods: Odin, Wotan, Zeus, Apollon
The Edda talk about a great battle between the Vanir (traditional Norse gods) and the Aesir (invading Indo-Europeans). It ends in a truce, probably a representation of real events between Indo-Europeans and Indigneous Norse. On the contrary, in Greece Zeus (Indo-European) slays Cronos (farming god), who himself had castrated and killed his father Uranus (ancient indigneous elemental worship). The entire history of Europe is told in those myths. This is why people feel an instant connection, they tell our stories, while Judaism tells the story of the jews and Islam the story of the Arabs.

Are you an expert on a real Indo European paganism? If so then please educate us with differences and commonalities in these two forms of paganism? Please also explain why neopaganism should be perfectly similar to old time paganism considering how much science advances have been made in the time span separating the fall of old time paganism an rise of neopaganism and since inability to adapt to latest iteration of scientific reality is the most common criticism for most religions?
If not then please pick up this turd you you just dropped and please leave with it because it stinks.
I am no expert on ancient Celtic religion but I do know alot about Indo-European paganism in general.
Modern Paganism is far too feminized with too much of a 'hippy' influence to be a real descended of real Indo-European religion. Indo-European religion was less mysticism and 'spirituality', IE priests had real status and prestige in their society. These people are a joke.
Quote:Statement 3: As an ancient pagan religion, Druidry is based on the reverential, sacred and honourable relationship between the people and the land.
Statement 4: In its personal expression, modern Druidry is the spiritual interaction between an individual and the spirits of nature, including those of landscape and ancestry, together with the continuities of spiritual, literary and cultural heritage.
Druidry is most of all a path (shorthand; for path read spirituality or religion or whatever works for you) of intimate wakeful relationship with all that you encounter
One can best become a Druid, in part, by living in awareness of the way in which your life affects the balance of the Eco-system.
Getting out and walking in the world, in the city as much as in the woods (it’s all natural, for a given value of nature!) but perhaps especially in the woods and in the wild wherever it may be found.
Druids will often stand up for a principle – Eco-protest groups will often be second homes to Druids, and Druids will likely be involved in activism of all sorts (on both sides of the established legal systems in which they operate). Speaking out, litter picking, facilitating positive change, helping make a better world for both human and non-human alike

Lols, so you think those are guys are related to these
Quote:The Greek historian Diodorus Siculus, writing in the 1st century BCE, described how Celtic warriors "cut off the heads of enemies slain in battle and attach them to the necks of their horses." ..among the Celts, "the heads of enemies held in high repute they used to embalm in cedar oil and exhibit to strangers. Archaeological evidence indicating that the Celts did indeed behead humans and then display their heads, possibly for religious purposes, has been unearthed at a number of excavations;

The Indo Europeans were all about survival, prestige and dominance and they lived in tough times. Military might was important, and it goes without saying masculinity was important too.
The neopagans are all about love the earth, feel connected, have wakefulness, walk in woods, protest environmental damage and have parties under the full moon.
The problem is there is too little information on Celtic religion, and much of what little there is is unreliable. Consider Greek paganism, where there is much more first hand literature available to us it is still very difficult to 'reconstruct' the religion of these people. This is because all literature needs interpretation and we are too far removed from the EARLY Indo Europeans to be able to get into their heads to find out why exactly they did what they did and produce the modern equivalent.
We know these neopagans are not real Indo European pagans because they are not interested in prestige, dominance and effectiveness in the real world. They have not produced anything of value, they do not get involved in politics and they are not interested in the accumulation of wealth and power.
