The allegations in the divorce filings were first reported by Buzzfeed News after multiple attempts by Spencer to keep them under seal.

In 2014, when she was pregnant with their first child, he held her down with his body weight and grabbed her by the neck and the jaw, leaving bruises, she alleged. In 2017, when she was nine months pregnant, he attempted to punch her in the face, she claimed.

After he was punched in the face in Washington DC on the day of Trump’s inauguration in 2016, Spencer left a loaded .38 pistol on the table in their bedroom in Montana, where it was easily accessible to their then two-year-old daughter, Koupriianova alleged. When his wife confronted him about the risk to their child, “he did not seem to adequately appreciate the danger”, she claimed.

She claimed he repeatedly told her to kill herself and asked if her parents would attend her funeral. Much of the abuse happened in front of their children, she alleged.

As for the rest of the allegations, tbey are pretty thin. He called her names? Like, during an argument? It happens, get over it. He "attempted" to punch her? I hate to say this, and I type it with reluctance- but even Richard Spencer does not deserve having his Family Court shit put out in the street by the media. I personally am not fond of the guy's ideas or him as a person, but no man deserves that Family Court shit out like that-Family Court shit should be sealed, period.

I live in a glass house when it comes to volatile women and relationships, so you will see no stones being thrown from me. I actually give Richard a pass on the domestic violence accusation, accusations of alcohol abuse, and bullshit "emotional abuse" allegations- Hey man, shit happens, people lie, and stress can lead a man to drink.

I have a question: was his wife supporting and encouraging him, and did he then turn neglectful? Or was she placing demands upon him, while ignoring what he felt to be his calling?

I am not a fan of Spencer; I don't consider him someone I can trust, but if she married him knowing what he was, and tried to change him - this is the result. Alcoholism and resentfulness. It would be no different with you, or me, or any other man whose woman wanted to lock him into a cage on her front lawn, to show off the Great White Lion she had captured.

I dated my first Russian last year. When I listen to the Mel Gibson leaked calls I have ultimate sympathy for what he was going through. These Russian women are a different breed. You have to have a frame of steel to deal with their shit, and even then.
