Random articles/blog posts on the state of Disney under Iger, some people may actual want to movie to bomb to degree that Iger is fired. For example, under Iger's management has made Disney World a less of "magical" place and more of a nickel and dime every vistor. Lets not forget the outsourcing of Disney animators incident a couple of years ago.

I don't know that much about Disney but my sense is the whole spirit of Disney died with Walt. It's been declining since his body hit the floor, because it was taken over by people who cared a lot more about making money than Walt's vision.

I think the safety pin is supposed to be a symbol that someone pledges not to put gays and minorities into ovens or something. As in, "you're safe around me". Not really sure though.

On the real if they had just fucking adapted the Expanded Universe you would have had the fan boys jizzing in their pants. Myself included. The damned retards that are Disney though of course decided to fuck it up.

Shit man, all they had to do was cast a certain blue-skinned, red-eyed humanoid Grand Admiral and every fan boy from about the age of 60 down would have been rolling in. It would've been trickier to adapt Tim Zahn's trilogy because all the characters have aged way past the original timeframe of the books, but I think they could still have done the trilogy with the serial numbers filed off a shitload better than this Social Jedi Warrior crap and Emo Vader that was foisted upon us.

Clearly most of the cuts and reshoots were done to minimize Jyn Erso's role in the movie. A lot of the "I rebel" type stuff was cut. Maybe the failure of Ghostbusters spooked Disney - or maybe it's wishful thinking on my part.

Lukewarm review from the Washington Post. Ann Hornaday, WaPo's main reviewer, previously gave the new Ghostbusters a positive review, fairly obviously for political reasons. So, for her to give this one so-so recommendation, it means that the anti-Trump, SJW stuff in it must not be that visible. Anyway, looks like the movie isn't too inspiring.

I just saw it and I really liked it. There's a shit load of callbacks to Episode IV. It's also very funny.

I can't say I detected any overt SJW stuff. It was a bit overlong though.

I remember going to see the Feminist Awakens and catching all of the obvious "member berries" . This made me angry because this was what pissed me off about the newest James Bond. No new material, just homages to old stuff.

I'll wait for my 5 finger piratebay discount or wait until a network TV premier on free tv. Either way, i'm not spending money.
