Obama still behave like he is a community organizer from Chicago, and hip cool democrat candidate, his mind is still in 2008, he does not realize he has been USA president for almost a decade, and had one of the most corrupt or the most corrupt Secretary Of State in USA history.
Farage resigned because the UKIP party is probably going to be dissolved soon. Now that UK is out of the EU there is no more point to UKIP. Farage may be retiring or he may joining the Tory party with other conservatives.
^ The UK is far from out of the EU. Every day a new, and credible threat to our withdrawl materialises. Today, Mishcon de Reya are looking at launching a legal bid to ensure parliament votes on the matter and that legislation is passed before Article 50 is triggered.
I think a strong, genuine UKIP should be more essential now than ever to hold Parliament accountable.
Sadly, I think Farage is going because UKIP is largely a busted flush. Carswell has been extremely divisive and disruptive, the party has been torn apart by the accusations off 'racism' and nastiness over the course of the Leave campaign, and Farage is probably seen as toxic by the party.

I agree wholeheartedly. The Tories are going to muffle the cry from the referendum under the pillows of parliamentary politics where the aspirations of the people sigh and die.
UKIP as a quasi-nationalist party can take voters from 'Left' and 'Right' and I think we all suspect that the Tories will betray Brexit. For this reason, UKIP isn't finished.
Mishcon de Reya are the SJW lawyers of New York and London. Its founder, the son of a rabbi as often championed causes against tradition and nation.
An MP tweeted that he was approached by the EC to vote to annul the referendum result.

Had these dumbfucks gone and voted, it would've been a definite remain result. I'm happy it turned out the way it did, but it was only the majority of those who actually voted that wanted to leave. And not even by a big margin to be honest. Plus it doesn't do anything if Britain stays in regardless, which I'm certain of now that Farage has stepped down, which didn't happen just like that. Article 50 will not be invoked. And if there ever was going to be another referendum, the libshits will have learned their lesson. They'll come out in doves and prohibit any further chance of independence.
I'll wait for Le Pen next year before I resign completely but if that doesn't go as needed we're headed right down destruction lane. I certainly won't get my hopes up anymore. The population is too stupid, the elites are too powerful and I'm too jaded. Fuck this gay earth.
Don't give up yet!
The 'majority including non-voters were remain' is the narrative being pushed as hard as possible. That most young people were for remain is part of that narrative. There's no real proof either way. Don't be fooled by a few crowds.
If everyone actually went out and voted in elections and referendums, i'm sure political history would be different . But obviously that's not how it happens. Turnout levels and their impact on results are just part & parcel of the process - and people are rightfully expected to accept it.
Now - I doubt that there will be a second referendum. Way too risky for the elite. What if the current numbers hold or even INCREASE for Leave in the 2nd referendum? What if a new major political (or other type of event) occurs in the EU or elsewhere, causing a substantial increase in leave? The result would be conclusive and an absolute disaster for the elite when the new results contradict their 'change of heart' & 'majority really want narrative' story. Best for them just to claim these as 'facts' than actually put them to the test. The only real way round it would be a fix which is risky for them. Question is - are they willing to take that risk?
Dragging their feet and flip-flopping on Article 50 is now their most likely course of action and their problem is that it will remain a central political issue until either a) the trigger is pulled and it is executed, or b) it is somehow terminated - which will have political fallout and a backlash from the population when they realise their so called democracy is mostly an illusion.

You really do believe they would let the UK leave Samseau? Out of everyone I thought you'd be the last to say that.
I'm not skeptical but there's no way the globalists let this one go so easy.

I hate to sound tinfoil... but I don't buy that.
The majority of the citizenry is for leave.
I'd imagine there was a lot of fraud and bad counting and that is what produced the close result.
Of course, the media will TELL us that it's only because some young people didn't bother to vote. I don't think you'll ever go broke betting on the complete opposite of what the media tells you.
Since it was such an overwhelming Leave result, and the shenanigans made it "close", now they need to push the "dumb, racist, old white people" meme so the activist class has the moral high road to ignore democracy because of "the wrong result".
The left does something similar in Canada. When a Conservative (in name only, I'm afraid) wins the election, they point out that only 20% (or whatever) of the people voted for him. Therefore the result should not be honored.
When one of their guys wins with 21% of the vote (or whatever, you get the idea) suddenly "the will of the people has spoken".

The EU will have borders at some point. But not the kind we wish for. They'll be in place to prevent flight, not immigration. And the sheeple will cry and ask "why WOULD you even WANT to leave? We have a socialist paradise here, just stay, who cares they force you to - it's for your own good." It's like a dystopian horror novel.
I want off this ride.
And they said violence was not the answer. Day after day, conspiracy theory becomes conspiracy fact. Face it people, the Bilderberg elites won't let a peaceful revolution happen. If anything, I think even the most skeptical people regarding the intentions of our government understate how much everything ties together at the top of global power hierarchy. They have too much power and they are too paranoid about losing it. Their paranoia and need to have a stranglehold over the rights and finances of every man to hold him down to maintain their power over society will lead to their demise.
We are going to need a leader to be a martyr for this movement to truly wake up the collective zombie masses. Who will stand strong in the face of threats and tyranny and take a bullet so their children can live in a better world? Trump? We will see. Prepare yourselves for the eventual conflict and have an exit strategy. It's sure as hell not going to be resolved without a fight.
The Metro (free daily paper handed out nationwide) frames Farage's standing down as another case of a Brexiteer quitting because they didn't have a plan for the breakup, rather than considering his ambition achieved.
Keep a look out for Stephen Woolfe in the upcoming UKIP leadership contest. He's an eloquent speaker who may be just what the party needs to gain a wider appeal. Also, he's mixed race, which will shut down the leftist racist arguments.

My estimation is that the real result was at least over 55% for Leave for sure if not even closer to 60%. Knowing who we are dealing with, it would be extremely naive that they would not try to tamper with the results.
The British government is being very vague about the possible future status of the approximately 3 million EU citizens living in the UK following any official Brexit....specifically whether they will be able to stay in the country or not.
In contrast there are "only" about 1 million British citizens living in the other 27 EU countries, and most of these are either working in Ireland or retired British pensioners living in sunnier places like Spain. The majority of native British do not speak a foreign language (or if they do, it's not at a level that would enable them to work professionally in another non-English speaking EU country) so it is more likely for them to migrate for a better paying job/lifestyle to a country where English is the only (or main) language. At present are about 1.3 million British citizens living in Australia, 650,000 in the USA, 600,000 in Canada, 200,000 in New Zealand, 45,000 in Singapore and 33,000 in Hong Kong....all countries which making it very difficult for their citizens to migrate between eachother. The UK's citizens would have a much better career and business prospects if the government made closer ties of free movement with these rich and well off English speaking countries (by strengthening the links that already exist with the Commonwealth of Nations organisation) than the arrangement they have had till now with the EU.
We have had this sort of "prisoners of war" scenario many times before. They are the ultimate bargaining chip for the UK at the moment to get what it wants.
2 examples from history.
Germans captured soldiers were kept hostage in Russia (then USSR) for 10 years from 1945 to 1955 until German chancellor Konrad Adenauer visited Nikita Khrushchev and coughed up shitloads of gold and cash and agreed to open diplomatic relations with the USSR.
During the Vietnam war, the Vietnamese also held back loads of captured american soldiers to ensure the USA paid war reparations agreed in the Paris Peace Accords of 1973. The USA did not pay up and denied the POWs even existed.
Obviously the EU citizens in the UK are not prisoners and can leave whenever they want to.
Point is, that they do not want to leave....and therein lies the UK's position of strength in bargaining with the EU.
Here is a recording of Ken Clarke and Malcom Rifkind discussing the Tory leadership candidates. It's pretty candid. These two are hardened Europhiles, and the very worst kind of smug Tory. They are completely oblivious to how far out of touch they are with their electorate.
