Well before Trump, Democrats not toeing the agenda were marginalized. Gabbard's on HFAC and she is hated by Ranking Member and most of the other Dems on the committee. Lena is inconsequential as she's just the UN ambassador. Whenever there's important shit to say at the UN we send the SoS. Tillerson is said to have only taken the position at the behest of his wife. I don't think he'll remain at that post very long. Trump IMO for some reason is grooming Kushner to fill that role when tillerson steps down.

Question that comes to my mind is.... why would Assad kill people who the media, special interests and many others find off limits...ie women and children.
If I was Assads enemy (whichever faction it is) CIA backed Rebels,Isis, take your pick. I would consider such an attack on my own vulnerable population for a military advantage.
