But I do know if you want more people to contribute on other parts of the forum, then all you can do is create threads of value on those parts of the forum so others will come and participate. Complaining about it on the EE forum isn't going to change anything.

The content of Roosh's articles on the main page has been changing too. Now it's mostly political and social commentary and less on how to get laid. Surely that has something to do with how the forum has changed as well. Roosh himself has talked about how he's tired of the whole travel and gaming lifestyle.

And as other people pointed out, Everything Else is merely just one sub-forum among the larger forum. There's guys over at the Game subforum that don't really pop over to Everything Else so I don't get why the people whining about the direction one subforum of the entire forum has taken don't just stick to the ones that suit their tastes more.

There are many, many forums related to gun control and politics. I see this forum as focused on the three topics I mentioned. Roosh's book titles support this with 17/22 having something to do with getting laid.

Not to mention you don't have to post in the threads about politics if you don't want too. You're making the choice to look at them. I personally stay out of the EE forum as much as possible and it's my choice to see those threads.

If you want to talk game that badly the Player's lounge thread is still popping. Most of the game stuff is consolidated to that thread.

Chances of me turning to white nationalists in my lifetime is low (about 0%) because I already have close friendships with people of other races and ethnicities. But I will admit that sometimes there is an undeniable draw to submitting myself to ignorance when I read articles or witness events or see people that thoroughly trash the group of people that I come from.

Here is a suggestion, rather than inflexibly try to shout down the alt-righters, the best method might be to show them how there beliefs about groups of people that are not there own is wrong. Kindness and teaching are political weapons that have been used successfully many times before.

I feel you can benefit the forum just as much by not participating in a bullshit thread as you can by creating a good one. But you're right that I don't have to read them.

Yeah I just see it as the cyclical nature of interests. A lot of the senior membership has moved away from learning how to get laid. A lot of them have that down, so they're interested in lifestyle and politics. Nothing wrong with that.

I'm sure an influx of quality newbies will swing the website back the other way in due time.
