This broadly belongs here I think. Sasha Baron Cohen is posing as a wealthy Italian playboy. He talks with a unwitting hotel concierge, telling him that he's molested an 8 year old boy and needs the problem to go away. Not only does the concierge offer the help of a lawyer to silence the boy, he also offers to find more boys of that age who are available to "party."

And this is just a lowly concierge, speaking candidly to someone he assumes is part of the club. He claims that he's helped wealthy guests before in such matters.

Of course the FBI has refused to pursue it. And for some strange reason the producers have decided not to release the tapes. Goddammit, this is something the public needs to see, and Cohen could do something useful for once rather than basing his career on unfairly setting people up to look like fools.

"It became really dark stuff. And then at the end of the interview I say, 'Listen, I want to go out and celebrate now. Can you get me a date for tonight?' He says, 'What do you mean, a date?' I go, you know, like a young man. He says, 'Well, what kind of age?' I say, 'Lower than bar mitzvah but older than 8.' And he says, 'Yeah, I can put you in touch with somebody who can get you some boys like that.'"

Cohen told Deadline he decided he wasn't to air the segment and instead reported the accused to law enforcement.

"We immediately turned over the footage to the FBI because we thought, perhaps there's a paedophile ring in Las Vegas that's operating for these very wealthy men," the comedian explained. "And this concierge had said that he'd worked for politicians and various billionaires. But in the end the FBI decided not to pursue it.

I often wonder this as well. I imagine quite deep. As Corey Feldman said on The View, "The biggest problem in Hollywood is and always has been pedophilia." But no one gives a shit about boys being raped, so...

Also, does anyone find it harder to enjoy Hollywood films (or I guess all mainstream media) as we learn more and more about their degeneracy? I mean, I don't care if an actor or director or producer (or athlete or musician, etc.) is a bad guy, but if he's a rapist or pedophile, or even just a massive hypocrite in general, then it's harder for me to watch his lying face as he delivers lines that often seem constructed for the purposes of social engineering. I definitely can't watch Kevin Spacey anymore, and I loved his films. Same thing with Tom Cruise (though he hasn't been MeToo'd but is clearly a weirdo).

Well they're not entirely playing a role, they are really crazy and broken.
And these kinds of faces, including their micro-expressions etc, are what are taught 24/7 to take as models by the media.

I'm not sure any study was ever done on the consequences of such a thing.
