The "hey everyone I'm gay" shtick is getting boring and he has become insufferable. It's a shame as he could be much more powerful as an opponent against The Narrative if he stayed focused and quit attention whoring.


I was browsing through some articles on Breitbart today, and noticed an old Milo article from October 2014 http://www.breitbart.com/london/2014/10/...e-beyonce/

It's very well written, and probably twice the word count of his current articles. If he could stay sharp like that and shut up about his private life he'd get a lot more attention in the long run.

As I said on the last page, I agree the gay thing is becoming more overt, but I don't think he has become insufferable. The gay jokes and what not are mostly just limited to his Twitter and social media presence. If you actually watch his talks there is very little of it besides some brief side jokes here and there and he's still the same well spoken, grounded guy he always is in those situations. I'll give up on him if that changes, but until then I'm giving him the benefit of the doubt. If the hysterical gay stuff gets him more exposure so more people actually see the stuff that matters then more power to him.

I just started watching him again after a long absence after I saw the UMass speech. Still brilliant and a huge fan.

To me it seems some of the theories border on conspiracy. He's going more and more gay to push an agenda that would set back the current level of gay rights? He does this by crafting an entire brand/identity/web presence where 95%+ of his content well reasoned and researched anti-feminism/SJW stuff to slip in the odd joke just to encourage "acceptance"? That would be along the lines of writing "Gay lives matter" on 1000s of $100 bills and giving them away for free in terms of cost/effort:effectiveness.

While I think he's doing it intentionally, and for attention, the reason is a lot more more for power. Basically the left doesn't just want gays equal but gay, they want them out loud and proud, marching down streets dressed in ridiculous leather costumes. Basically the more flamboyant he becomes, the more attention it draws to him and his main message, and the more of an untouchable he is.

I think what you're getting at, and the way I see it, is that if he acted naturally he would just come across as an upper class Britsh shitlord. He needs to make it "like suuuuper obvious" that he is gay to create that head exploding paradox when he disagrees with them.

Milo is speaking in Eugene, Oregon tonight at the University of Oregon:

Although the university and the city has the reputation as a center of left wing activism, most of this is the fumes left over from the lib-glory days of the 60s-80s.

Eugene is pretty much a town for people who can't hack it in Berkeley, and for the most part, and for the students in particular, these aren't the people who are going to let activism get in the way of vaping, discussing microbrews, and eating well.

If there is any opposition to show up, it will probably not be students, who might have done something if it happened to be on their way to class, but otherwise, eh.

The activist culture at the school has been further watered down because Phil Knight, the co founder and chairman of Nike, and an alumnus, has turned the U of O into a kind of billionaire Lego set where he toys with football teams and builds expensive and over the top facilities for athletes, or libraries and arenas that he names after himself and his family.

There is an announcement in the student newspaper about Milo's talk. For the sake of fair play, I left a comment there:
