I guess you guys were right - women are going to fight tooth and nail to ban sexbots. The first salvo has been fired.

Weird how she's right, but for the completely wrong reason. She's looking at it from the female perspective (of course) that this will be bad for women. But, naturally, she blames it on men, as if men have these wonderful, beautiful, feminine women that they purposely avoid to sleep with robots. She could never even breach the thought that maybe it's because women have become fat, annoying disasters, and that 80% of men are sex deprived anyway. She's not losing alpha males to sex bots, she's losing men that she wouldn't fuck anyway.

It's like the scene from T2 Judgement Day when Sarah Connor is watching the Terminator play with John and there's a voice over about how he is basically the perfect father. "He'll always be there, never be too busy, never get drunk and hit him" - sex bot would be the female equivalent. The flipside of course being that a sex robot can't replace a true "relationship." They're worried about the marriageable beta-bucks demographic disappearing. If your average beta male has a choice between a sweet feminine sex-robot who looks like a 10, cooks like Rachel Ray, and fucks like a porn star versus an aging 30+ strong-independent harpy womyn who spent the last ten years ignoring him but now wants him to "Man Up" for 30 years of nagging and once a month duty sex...well it isn't going to be much of a choice.
