I've been here in guadalajara for the past month. I agree with a lot of what I've read here. It's a tough city to get laid in. The women are mostly just too conservative.

My suggestion, throw the idea of a one night stands out of your brain. Women here just don't do it. The only one night stands I've had here were from women who have traveled a lot out of Mexico, were very independent, and liberal.

Here, you have to go on a few dates before you can get them into bed. It's also tough since they work so much. I've meet many women who have 2-3 jobs are always busy working and going to school.

I speak very little spanish and I talk to all of them in English.

Some of the things I'm reading here are kind of throwing me for a loop..... Mexico is hands down the easiest place I've been to on earth (I was in DF the entire time mostly in the Polanco/Condessa neighborhoods). I literally had more pussy thrown at me than I knew what to do with not talking 2-3 chicks a week, nor did I come across many girls whom played the waiting game. i wanted to go to Guadalajara last visit but just couldn't get away from the DF, I'm going to go again next month is it really that much harder compared to DF?

I had a WAY easier time in Puerto Vallarta. You're at the beach, everyone is on vacation. All the girls from GDL go there for the weekend. Plus you still have your pick at American/Canadian girls.

They had a salsa night in Lolita Lolita during the week were a lot of the people were either Puerto Rican or Cuban. I ended up meeting some local girl and her parents. I'd say that Mexico is second only to Argentina in terms of difficulty in Latin America. I'm getting about one to three notches per week when I go there. That is with putting approximately one hundred times the effort I put in in any other place.

Godzilla, I don't think you missed much by being in Guadalajara and not the Jersey Shore during Labor Day Weekend. The place was full of families and even the Eastern European exchange workers are starting to look bad.

I found DF to be much easier than Buenos Aires to get layed (although didn't spend much time in BA), but I wouldn't necessarily call it a cake walk. I've had very few ONS stands in Mexico. Most bangs came after 2 or 3 dates.

That sounds right. The one thing I will say is that no matter how conservative or quality a girl there is, it shouldn't take more than three dates. The hard time is often getting a date in the first place and/or avoiding being rejected. I've been doing this for over twenty years and my rejection rates everywhere besides Mexico are a joke. That's why when guys come on here raving about how easy it is, it doesn't make sense to me and I'm really sure the problem isn't me. I think what happens is that a lot of guys with little or no Latin American experience go to Mexico, get one, two, or even three notches in a week, and think it is really easy, because that is much better than they do in the United States.

I was in GDL in March. First timer, just like you. Spent a lot of time preparing for the trip, working on my Spanish, approaching girls direct on the street in the U.S. because I knew that's what I needed to do in Guadalajara. I made Spanish flash cards, started listening to Spanish radio, took a salsa dance refresher class...I really worked hard to prepare. I had some help from guys on this forum. And the hard work paid off.

I wrote

Intel on good areas to game in the Guadalajara data sheet

Summary from my experience (written when I returned): I probably made close to fifty approaches in six days. Every single day, anywhere from three to ten approaches. But quality approaches matter, not quantity. Amazingly, went on five insta-dates in the first four days I was there. I had never been on an insta-date in my life before. I hooked up with a girl every single night I was there. Six days in a row I hooked up with at least one girl. Incredible. I’m lucky in the U.S. if I can hook up with two girls a month, so to have hooked up with eight girls in six days is incredible. Also making roughly fifty approaches, and to make solid approaches that lead to insta-dates was also amazing in such a short time.

When you’re only focused on meeting women, and have no other obligations or responsibilities in the world, it’s amazing what you can accomplish.

You must prepare, you must know what to say you must know how to build attraction when she gives you signs of interest, you must keep pushing the interaction as far as you can. Take the game seriously.

Finally, when I got back to the States, I wrote a detailed account of every single day that trip. It was eight pages or so. Even though I wrote it all down, I never published any of it.

So I thought I'd share this one excerpt, from my very first day in Guadalajara:

I got off the bus around 4 pm near the main Cathedral in Guadalajara. I start walking to the hostel, which is about a mile from the Cathedral. As soon as I get off the bus, I see this cute girl with brown shoulder length hair walking just in front of me. I follow her for a couple blocks as she’s walking in the same direction I am, but I never approach her. Not even to ask for directions to the hostel or anything.

I finally get to the hostel. It’s about 5:30 pm, so I have a quick snack, glance through my Spanish flash cards, and go right back to the street in Centro.

It’s rush hour, so a lot of people are lining up to get on buses. I miss a lot of opportunities to approach, there’s at least six or seven women I pass by that I just can’t get the courage to approach. Centro is a busy downtown area with lots of small shops and busy streets. It was just difficult for me to approach. Anyway as I’m walking around, it’s probably about 7 pm now, there’s a girl who passes by. I take a closer look and see—it’s the same girl from the afternoon. What are the odds? Yet once again I fail to approach!

So the first afternoon was about three hours of walking aimlessly in two sections of the city and failing to make a single approach.

There are very few places to eat in Centro, so not knowing any better, I walk towards El Escarabajo Scratch, a bar mentioned on the forum, thinking maybe I can find a place to eat dinner there. There are a few little taco stops on a little cobblestone street without cars and most of the tables outside on the street. I eat some tacos alone, and then get up to leave. I spot three girls sitting outside on a table, and I walk by and just fail to approach again. I’m kicking myself.

With all this failure in my head, I resolve to go to Chapultapec, for the first time, and approach there. Change the venue and maybe I’ll be better off. I take a taxi there and start walking up and down the street. There are three girls walking ahead of me, one really cute blond and two other girls. Some group of guys whistles at them as they walk by, and then the guys laugh among themselves. I tell myself— “I’m no better than these guys if I just follow them without approaching them - I have to do something.” So I tap one of the girls and ask them “It’s my first time in Guadalajara, and I’m wondering what are some interesting bars here?” They tell me a few places, and even though I’ve stopped them just before they cross the street, they don’t cross even after the light changes. I’m able to continue a conversation. I tell them “Where I’m from…” and talk about New York for a bit. But after a minute or two, I sense I’m losing them and I let them go on their way. I wasn’t exactly sure how to build attraction.

I cross the street with them, and I see another girl, wearing a white top and a jeans jacket, very cute, walking by herself. I speed up to catch up with her, and then she stops, about to cross a street and I know I must approach her here. So I tell her “Te vi caminando…y queria decirte…que en los ultimos cincos minutos…eres la mas bella chica…que he visto.” It works. We start chatting and I go into my lines about New York and Guadalajara. “It’s my first time in Mexico”. After a few minutes I say “I’m on my walk to get a drink somewhere, would you like to come with me?” She agrees.

We went to Bananas, we talked for just under an hour, and then left. We were standing on the sidewalk of Chapu and I just went for the kiss. She was receptive. After we kissed a couple times I said, “Why don’t we hang out at my place, just for an hour...no more” to which she responded “At your place?” I could tell she was considering it, but was a little nervous. I wasn’t able to convince her and so I resigned myself to the next best thing—making plans to meet her again the following night. Chapu is a boulevard and there’s a median section. There’s a sculpture of a heart in the middle and she said we should meet right there, at the heart, tomorrow night at 8. I got her number, and she saw her bus come and hopped on. I started to walk home, her bus passed by me and she waved at me excitedly from the window of the bus.

I went on a date a mere four hours after I got to the city and I almost pulled the very first girl I seriously approached back to my bedroom. That was amazing compared to the States. But I think I needed to feel the failure of walking aimlessly for three hours in two neighborhoods, passing by sets and failing to approach so I could really push myself to make at least one genuine approach before the night was over. Going from the lows of failure to the highs of going on an insta-date was amazing. I’d never been on an insta-date in my life, and to make out with her right after the date was also awesome. And to almost pull her! What a huge boost to confidence.

My reaction exactly! You just gotta know where to go. I had some really fast ONS's from Bar Americas, though it took me a few months to have any luck there. Finally it did, and eventually I could pretty much go pull any given night there.

Also learning salsa here was a complete waste of time for Colombia. Salsa is different here. There are salsa bars in gdl..it always helps to learn but its not exactly necessary in Mexico.

As far as off the radar and northern Mexico, the city Hermosillo has some of the sexiest women in Mexico. It's funny- around Sonora I hear dudes pine over tapatías (women from GDL) while here I've hear dudes telling me how much better it is up north in Hermosillo- the girls are easier there. I could be happy either place, I'm sure. Hermosillo is not a very pretty city, and hot as hell in the middle of the desert, but it's not far from some really nice beach towns like San Carlos and Puerto Peñasco. And I can validate the sexiness of Hermosillo women, and some might find it easier there as well.

I have a friend who is black and jacked, and he slays around Guadalajara. It kinda pisses me off. He pulled twice in one night in Vallarta while I got nothing. He admits having a way easier time here than Colombia, New York, or anywhere with lots of black people. There are very, very few in this part of Mexico.

And godzilla, yes it took me a long time. I had to change, I had to up my game a lot and pretty much start from scratch again, get better at Spanish, etc... before I enjoyed Guadalajara. It's a good place for the long haul, but not for a quick pussy paradise trip.

MidWest, who is no longer here, was good with the Northern Mexico data. He posted a Sonora data sheet a while back which mostly focused on Hermosillo. germanico has also posted a lot of Monterrey data.

I definitely said all the upper class girls "i have met" spoke english and that "I didn't need spanish" to get quality pulls. I'm aware now that this might not be the norm, but just sharing my experience. When I travel to Mexico major cities, I stay in the nicest areas always and that's primarily where I game so i didn't find it odd that all these chicks spoke english. Now in Hermosillo only one chick I went out on a date with spoke english, the rest was 90% spanish 10% spanglish. She was the only chick to come up to my hotel room after the first date.
I do agree with Germanico that you need real game, as I think that helped me more than anything, but I don't think that always involves speaking spanish. I rarely got SNL (happened twice), but I don't have a problem with this.

Contrary to the general train of thought on the forum, I like going out on dates with girls and spending time getting to know a chick before I bang. No problem for me waiting 3 dates for a bang, especially if the chick is 7+. When I did run into girls who spoke no english, they didn't have a problem with me not speaking spanish. I think the differences in experience come across with gaming styles. I'm more of a slow roast 2-3 dates, hang out all day type of guy. Plus I started to rely less on tinder after my first visit and my notches went up and so did my positive experience with girls (less flaking, more willingness to come over etc). I hope this helps clear up some of the ambiguity my post caused for the lurkers/new members/Vets.

Ha I never said I don't speak any spanish. I don't game in spanish. My last three girlfriends were hispanic, I know enough to get by and have a decent conversation si estoy barracho, but i'd just prefer to game in english. Either way I agree with most of the points you, Merenguero and Midwest (RIP) have posted about Mexico and you guys are the primary reason i even decided to visit in the first place so all love over here.

It's really not that complicated here in GDL. Good looking, upper class women require you to be on your game like anywhere else. They're also, generally, not going to put out until the second or third date. Some do yes, but more often than not, they don't. Lot's of women into their 30's live at home with parents.

Not speaking Spanish is going to limit the number of women you can talk to. Obviously. It's still very possible, as there are lots of women who speak English.

I'd say you just have to be patient at first. I think that's really how it goes, in every new city you hit for the first time.

Just my personal opinión ...if you are not conversation in Spanish, I suggest english. I learned spanish in Mexico, so the minute I started speaking spanish permenantly without being conversational is when I did the worst.

By the way I have darker skin then 99 percent of Mexico, so Im sick of hearing white god shit posted expect ing to get laid, its ignorant and stupid. Ive actually never seen a white dude complain in mexico. Usually they complain about not fucking the sluttiest white girls in beaches. If there bored, they just move to Colombia. And ive also never seen mexicans try to rip off people. Mexicans are honest and dont try to take advantage, its why I loved living there. Along with the climate. I found Ciudad Juarez far more of a disappointment than Guadalajara to be honest. The girls in CJ are Americanized (unless they come from the interior of Mexico), and they have way more options than the guys. The sister of the woman who owns a hostel in Juarez is never single. She always finds a new boyfriend when she breaks up with a guy. The guys go on dry spells for at least a year.
