Travesty: I saw earlier in the thread that you visited Colombia and didn't think the women were wife material. A couple questions for you... did you go to any smaller cities/countryside, or just stay in the main tourist spots? And did any of the girls you meet only speak Spanish? I found the girls in Medellin to be just about as annoying as anywhere in Latin America, but in places elsewhere in the country (the Caribbean, Bucaramanga, etc.) it was night and day different. I'd rather bang an 8 from Medellin no doubt for a fling, but I'd find it much easier to wife a young virgin 6 from Central America or Peru or something, knowing I'd never lose paternity of my kids...

It is my firm belief that English language (or rather the culture associated with it) is what ruins women. If you watch hispanic TV, it's banal and insufferable, but it isn't hardcore feminist for example. You were down on GDL - where I had a blast - but maybe you didn't find Spanish-only girls? I live in Central Mexico (with my imported Colombian), and the wealthy English-speaking girls here all have family in Texas or Miami and American cultural problems that go with it.

My LTR is from rural Colombia, doesn't speak English, but does have a degree in a STEM field so she is smart enough to get by. My experience is only that of one man, but us learning the local language and making sure she isn't familiar with American culture and never becomes so seems more important than many other factors.

I think Colombianas on average may come from messed up homes. Single moms, poverty, Dad or his friends into criminal activities at some points than Mexico by far. Even more good girl types from stable homes often can have small trashy tattoos etc. Mexican girls are just more family oriented and traditional in this sense from my more limited experiences.

That said there are gems in Colombia I am sure and more than is thought on this board, which is to not take Colombianas seriously for LTRs.

I did not go to second tier Colombia yet. I would be willing to go as my Spanish keeps improving and I am more comfortable with the country.

I would not however marry a 6. I could do that in the United States with ease and find one that is church going, shy, loyal etc. I could never stay faithful or treat a relationship with a 6 seriously. My resentment would show immediately.

Yes I found Spanish only girls in both Mexico and Colombia. Entire dates and bangs in all Spanish.

I just don't like Mexican women's personalities so far I have no attraction to that side of them. Also I score zero brownie points for being a gringo, American, or speaking Spanish compared to Colombia where I score huge points. I see myself becoming the largest detractor of Mexico on this board outside of maybe the beach towns for surfing and vacationing. I really don't see its appeal on any level whether architecture, city life, girls, music. After reading so much on Mexico on here I am surprised the posts are usually 90% positive in review. I have no idea why or how. With Colombia I completely agree with everything written to a T.

You are in the rare circumstance earlier described in the thread. Bring a girl from a good 3rd world wife country to a more LTR friendly 2nd world country which is interesting and rare and you should write about your journey courting her, then moving to central Mexico.

My ltr is a 7 in my view +/- .5 point depending on your racial preferences. If you like dark skin, it'd be toward the top of the range - in places like Argentina, few people hit on her, in places that like Afro-latinas, I have to mate guard. She's very skinny and has a solid body.

If I were older and fewer options, I'd trade down a point to make sure I got a loyal wife. As it is, I'm 27 and have good money, so I fortunately didn't have to give up too much in the looks department.

She does meet all of this list except the divorced parent category, since her dad was a pass out in the street drunk:

She cannot be divorced - If she's had one divorce, she may be willing to go through another one

GDL sucks as far as living - it's got all the nasty elements of sprawl from the American sunbelt. Places like Guanajuato have nice architecture and cute girls. In general though, central Mexico isn't the nicest part of the country as far as aesthetics go. I hate cars, so I could never live in GDL. I don't blame you for not liking the city - it's a weekend trip only sort of place for me. That said, I enjoyed it for what it was, but I do have some friends there.

I'll probably write more about my relationship as time goes on; still trying to figure out the ropes here so I don't get myself banned while I'm still a no-rep newbie.

I have written before I think though as far as I am concerned I am very fair white. I am into chicks of every shade. Darker girls though whether mixed black, latina, or asian always seem to be more into me with much less work.

I think my best bet as a wife would be a low 7, killer body, darker skin. Worldwide all men on average have much much more thirst for lighter skinned chicks no matter the race. I am fine with a dark Pochahantas type (as far as Latinas/Colombianas go) and I think that would be my best match as how into me she is and how much less I would have to mate guard.

Not saying the above isn't true, but:

My Polish wings here in Gdansk actually prefer darker girls, including black chicks.

It's also fashionable for girls here to dye their hair black. My Polish wings also prefer these girls.

Word. My LTR also has all those criterias. This makes sure that you won't end up in a dead end like 50% of marriages.

I'm currently in the process of importing my Vietnamese girlfriend to Spain via Schengen visa. Probably end up wifing her up and start to cranking out little Malones. We've been on and off for 3 years and we're stuck on each other.

I'll be 44 later this year, she's 23. It's good to be a man.

I was born in Kiev.
Last time I was in 2014, trying to get out of Kiev some of my familly members, and almost got killed with them on the way to Crimea, belive it or not.

Could you cover abit more on that topic?

I am planning to go to Phillipines or Vietnam for a long term, and maybe I will find someone there.
But I can`t decide at the moment where to go, since Phillipines are great for sleeping left and right, but the Viet girls look more hotter for me, and If I marry one I want to be sure that I got the best one I could.

What doubts me about Vietnam is the language,since it is very hard to learn and I actually can`t imagine myself how a relationship can work out with no communication?

I can't give any info on the Philippines as I've never been there. However, I have lived in Indonesia, Thailand and Vietnam. Of the three, I like Viet girls the best.

They're hot and feminine, and are often very traditional. Lots of them speak English to one degree or another. Personally I don't speak Vietnamese and never will. Unless you're planning to live in Vietnam long term it's a waste of time. I had a very high rate of English with the girls I approached/dated - it's quite common in my target market.

I assume you are Canadian, so am I. Let me copy & paste the post I made in the Justin Trudeau thread in the Politics forum:

"Back in 2013, when I tried to bring my Thai girl and her mother for a 1-month vacation in Canada, we applied for a visa.

Then we drove to the border to seek admission anyway. They denied her, and stuck a 1-year exclusion order down her throat. When returning to USA from the border, we were followed by 2 US Border Patrol cars to make sure that there would be no smuggling attempt. I got pulled over and extensively questioned twice. She ultimately flew back to Thailand, and I drove back to Canada.

At the border, when re-entering Canada alone, I got searched and questioned for 4 hours. I had the RCMP car waiting for me there, and when I went on my way, the RCMP, along with 2 provincial police cars, followed me for 30 minutes to make sure that I wouldn't try to bring her in the country."

So in short, there are 4 ways to bring a girl into Canada:

1) Be married and request Permanent Resident status
2) Have a LOT of money (around CAD $100k) in the bank
3) Have a very good lawyer with internal connections with the embassy
4) Be a Muslim

Saigon is where it's at really. Everything else is smaller or tougher. Hanoi would be second.

There's some truly ridiculous amount of people in greater Saigon. Our small pool of expat players isn't going to fish out that pond.

Personally the life in Saigon grates on me after a while so I can't live there anymore. My need to kill rises very quickly.

I would likely not raise a family Saigon as well.

Coming from a guy who is half-Vietnamese, sure the light portions of food keeps women slim, etc. I would however prefer that my future kids eat well so they can grow to their max potential & have more space to engage in sports opposed to just sitting around cramped in on scooters all day.

Even in a place like Kaosiung, Taiwan...there are great state of the arts athletic facilities all over the city for kids to train themselves physically. Just my opinion.

Destination V: Salt Lake City, UT, USA

Well it isn't international, yet Utah is almost like another country.

I was only in Salt Lake for 2 nights and 1 day. I have been to the city previously about a decade ago for a single day. I went for a 2 night concert on a road trip, so it was mostly circumstance I visited.

Among the list of U.S. cities known on the forum as being better chances at wife material Salt Lake had made the short list:

Minneapolis
Chicago
Charleston
Salt Lake City

The upside:
Salt Lake has some nice scenery. It is easy to get around. The air is fresh. I've heard living expenses are cheap.

There is a solid pocket of good looking women, I especially noticed looking very good in their 30s and 40s.

I wonder what proportion of these women are strict Mormons. I am guessing a decent amount and their healthy lifestyle and no whoring around keeps them fresh.

The downside:
Utah is a weird state. Salt Lake is a weird city. Outside of the downtown area many of the neighborhoods look a bit run down. There are rules everywhere. Rules posted at the park when you walk in. Highway digital signs saying 42 deaths is too much for traffic fatalities. I couldn't order a double vodka at the concert, no double drink pours, it is against state law. No smoking on bar outdoor patios (really?). Bars close at 1AM.

There are people on the borderline of white trash everywhere. There are more homeless than you would expect for such a small city.

I was walking across a wide street at a stop light when the hand was flashing red half way across. The streets weren't busy. As I finished crossing a guy turning left to where I was walking rolled down his window to shout some obscenity. I may have cost him 2 seconds when the roads were practically empty.

After getting out of the bars downtown standing on a street corner a couple guys slowed down to roll down their window and say "hey!" then just smiled and gave me the middle finger.

There is a sort of fucked up depressing energy in this city. You can feel the failure in many of the people. I think the city Mormons with their shit together should just round up all the white trash and kick them over to New Mexico or something.

At the concert one night I overheard the much stereotyped conversation about SLC locals almost being embarrassed to say they are born and raised there because so many locals hate on living there.

The pocket of attractive bright eyed young (most likely Mormon) girls is a nice little bait. I think the city itself would not be a great place to live by any means. Hence it is off my list.

It feels like a more white trash, smaller, on the down swing, much less cool version of Denver.

Denver's strange little failure of a cousin.

I think a responsible future parent has to give a lot of thought to raising a family in any country in SEA outside of Singapore and even that city state poses a few issues although not not more than Canada or a western European country. Personally put starting a family on the back burner for now.
